  1. I'm onto it... We will see how we go. Also, sorry for my lack of contact, things will be explained shortly! JP
  2. Ahh that explains why the I thought I new the car, I work around the corner. Will have to drop in if I see you there and I'm drivin my blown rolla. Compare notes ;) or if I'm drivin my val wagon for that matter! Jarrad
  3. Ahh, was most likely rick20-25 on here, well his car anyway! His mates been driving it in Ballarat for a few months. Cool looking car!
  4. Guys and Gals, I have very minimal net access at the moment, takes 10minutes to load a page on here! Will update when I'm back home this weekend. Have had a few pull out but final numbers are just under 30 at the moment. Cheers, Jarrad
  5. Will have to sort you out for the front shocks among other things, the last peice to my puzzle!
  6. I will have to check with him but dfunkt was running aw11 mr2 rear strut inserts in tyefront of his 20 before he sold it, they are the same diameter but are around an inch shorter stroke. And readily available. Will send him a message to confirm this but there is a bit of info around on the swap. JP
  7. That won't be your brakes, they just can't cope with the grip in the rear. That's one reason for the burnout box at drag strips. I'm pretty sure I know the far you picked up, had plenty of potential if it's the same one. To give you an idea brake wise, you can bolt on a ke55-70 disk setup using the ke30-55 backing plates and the rest ke70 for the biggest cheap bolt on setup. Master cylinders in duel circuit can be used from galants and pajero's etc. There is a certain ke20 running 8second passes running ke3x brakes on the front so you should be fine running around the 13 second mark. Enough rambling. Hope it helps.
  8. That's not rust... That's a hole! Will be a good looking far once done, very different to the Aussie spec models. JP
  9. After trying a set of dellortos on my ke10 I'm pretty sure you will have to go with the short manifold, I measured up a long runner redline one and it just wouldn't fit in the bay! Grab a look at philbeys setup, very tight it he managed to get a great filter setup inside. JP
  10. Yep... Way to big. And not from any books either but from experience. It will run, probably get acceptable results but will never be as good as it should be, boost or not. With a 650 on a four pot it will have shithouse air speed down low giving you terrible throttle response and possible fuel puddling. It would however sing once on boost and up in the rev range! A 650 was to big for my slant six to be a nice driver, I made more power and had better drivability with a 390 and a 465. The 390 being the best all round. And that engines about twice the size of any early Toyota 4. JP
  11. But if it's a stocker a cam like that would be perfect
  12. A mild regrind wouldn't hurt, just to compensate for the aircon!
  13. Hi all! Just thought I should post up a reminder to cast your vote in the COTY competition this year, especially seeing we have 3 Victorians battling for outright honors! http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/47149-car-of-the-year-2010-voting/ Get into it! You might even win a prize yourself. JP
  14. Thought I had better ask, Todd, do you have any suspension travel in the front of that thing? My ke10 is currently sitting that low in the nose and it's at the end of travel of the strut inserts/shocks. I love the hieght, it's exactly where I want it but the only way I can see myself getting there is shortening the shuts and converting to coilovers with inserts to suit. Can we grab some more info? By the way, it's one horn looking little rolla! JP
  15. Can anyone say overcarb'd??? One will be waaaaay more than any stock 4 pot will be able to use. On off throttle transition will be terrible, almost like turbo lag. Just won't have the air speed with twins to run properly! It will run, but I don't like your chances of ever getting it nice enough to daily drive etc. I would be going for a pair of smaller webers or side suckers if I were dead set on twins. Otherwise you might get one falcon weber to be happy. Mind you, with boost a single xf weber would be great. JP
  16. Still looking for a front apron? I have a decent nik one that I will let go. Hope to see an update too! Jarrad
  17. Sounds like the hunting was worth it! Ok, so you lost me for a bit... Are you planning on using this car now or using the roof section for the other? Convert to right hand drive? Jp
  18. ;) Will be fun!
  19. You really need to get a decent vid of this beast before you pull it down again, it sounds nuts! 20b crossed with a NASCAR! Get into it Stu!
  20. I known I know! Pick me pick me!!!!!
  21. I think your right Stu, seems I have to much fuel pressure and the reg can't get it down to where I want. I have a really nice aeromotive carbie spec fpr that I might use if I crack the shuts! It's a return style reg so I will need to run my surge tank and second pump along with a second fuel line. More mucking around but I will NEVER have fuel pressure issues again! Don't worry, I'm painting my 10 next year! Getting rid of the black sills for good! 100kw at the Tyres may as well be my goal, it's only a carbie setup but with the right cam, more boost and a decent programable ignition I should comfortably get there. Will be plenty of box n diff breaking power! Will be back home Thursday so I will be getting back to working on it but then I'm off again on the second. Still have plenty to do! JP
  22. The answers you seek are in the email Mel sent you (the registration form). Sort it out after Christmas chief. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas! Hopefully Santa came! JP

  24. You'll have to catch me first Matty :D
