  1. Don't see why not. Go and add it yourself! FYI - Jonny Rochester is a member here. :jamie:
  2. None of the mazda one, but a couple for monaro's etc.... http://cars.shop.ebay.com.au/Cars-Bikes-Bo...d=p3286.c0.m282
  3. Doubt it. The bolt snapped because its tight in the hole. Do you think you can put more torque through a phillips head screw driver than what it takes to break a bolt? :jamie:
  4. According to this add it is..... :jamie:
  5. Don't you mean you can't wait to see the back of it!!! :jamie:
  6. Just saw this pic in your FS thread.... Where you have the blank din space between the radio and vent, the RX's actually came with a Clario 8-Track player. Mines still in the car for shits and giggles. :jamie:
  7. Bull shit. You can get plenty of poke out of an NA 4k, even a 3k screamer...... which would be enough to beat a stock 4age..... for less money!! :jamie: Unless you're doing a dodgy, half arse conversion.
  8. I agree with the above, if you want a turbo motor then buy a s4/5 front cut or complete motor and box. Your current motor would have higher comp than that of a turbo motor and hence you wouldn't be able to run much boost. If you want to do things bit by bit I would suggest: Getting a 12a IDA manifold and a IDA style throttle body and a computer to run it. Stick with that for a while and then when you want the turbo too - Get a S4/5 block and a 13b IDA mani to put your throttle body and injection on the 13bt.
  9. ding-a-ling-a-ling...... that the sound of me with bells on!!! :D Should convince Daim to bring his out too!?
  10. Maybe under the "Boot"? It doesn't look real deep.
  11. Nope. IIRC you can use a KE3X-5X K40 shifter in a KE70 K40, but then they're different to a KE3X-5X K50 shifter, and a KE70 K50 shifter is different again.
  12. You can use dirt if you want something to drive. Call me if you're interested. You might just want to give it a little bit of a clean up. Oh and Ben you're welcome to go out and drive it too if you want!?
  13. I actually remember hearing something about KP61 LSD (U-code or something like that) being usable in KE2X diff. I suggest you have a search on club-K.co.nz for further details. :jamie:
  14. haha love the engine stand....aka shopping trolley!! :jamie: might have to take the Zuk next time I go to Wollies. :D They're handy things. At my last house we had one for a laundry basket.
  15. Good to see you made some headway mate. You going to drive it to the exhaust shop straight out of the extractors? I did when I got "Dirt's" exhaust done. Got some hell funny looks from pedestrians! :jamie: This was when I lived at CAI though so it was just a quick put down Charles st and around the corner to Midas.
  16. Reviving an old thread for anybody interested...... Motorkhana__flyer_06_02_10.pdf I won't be going as I'll hopefully be swapping turbos on the weekend. :jamie:
  17. I got that dump pipe for $60 posted of egay. :jamie:
  18. Um :jamie: you didn't plumb the boost guage into the brake booster line behind the ONE-WAY-VALVE did you!? As you blip the throttle in neutral the guage should come up to 0. Hold it a bit longer and it should come up in boost. Make sure you don't have some sort of one way valve in the line that is giving you false readings on the guage.
  19. Wouldn't have a clue sorry. I haven't busted a D-dish yet and they've seen upwards of 22psi. New turbz should be here by the weekend so ask me next week!!! :jamie: Reason I said they're better for boost is the bigger dish gives you less CR.
  20. Slightly off topic - But Cam, Spool should have 5k H-beam forged rods available by the end of the month for around $600 a set. :jamie:
  21. I'm going to re-iterate this point for safety reasons. The stock springs are captive and have a bit of tension on them already. If you don't hold this tension back in same way it will release when you remove the top hat....... which is liable to smack you in the face!!! So be warned and careful. :jamie:
  22. ...maybe excluding price!!! :jamie:
  23. I'd just say forget it. Have a look at where the crank is compared to the height of where any other motors would be. You'd end up having to raise the trans tunnel substantially to get any sort of gearbox in it.
  24. JDM toyotas, mazdas etc came with fender mirrors because they're allowed in Japan. They're not legal in Aus, hence why Toyota, Mazda etc fitted there ADM cars with door mirrors. :)
  25. Yes they'd be real brembo rotors. Don't get all excited just because of the brand, they're just replacement rotors. Would be no better than a PBR set. I haven't had much of a look at the wesite but I dare say you wouldn't be able to get vented ones as KE discs are pretty thin to start with.
