  1. That one only blew because my dizzy unlocked! Didn't like 30 odd extra degrees :P
  2. I used to 15psi daily on a $23 permaseal gasket!!!! But yes, now I'm running a genuine toyota one with ARP's. To run a copper head gasket you actually HAVE TO HAVE AN O-RINGED BLOCK/HEAD!!!! The copper manifold gasket is a great idea as stocko ones burn out way too quick.
  3. Lol, put oil in your motor yet!
  4. Might have been mine, I drive past there a little bit. Black flares too? If so I don't actually have any "extractors"!
  5. That didn't last long then!?
  6. Yeah in NA form agreed. If you want to slap a turbo onto a 2t or 3t however.... http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/16233-toyota-pics-from-puerto-rico/
  7. No-one make forgies for K's. Custom only. ...so be preppared for a $1k+ price tag.
  8. My be worth doing a search for "loupee"s project thead. turbo 5k running straight gas and 15-16 odd psi.
  9. Take the turbo to a laser cutting place. They can then scan the flange of the inlet and cut you one. I did this with an old K ex mani to get a flange made for my turbo manifold and it cost $80, so you'd thing half that for the flange you need. Then either weld it over the existing flange or cut it off and weld the new one on.
  10. So what was mechanical about this!? ....so moved.
  11. Seen Dirt running for the first time in over 18 months yesterday!!!! Wound over for 5 second until it pump up some fuel away it went first fire!
  12. Don'treally need to mini tub for that sort of tyre size. Considering i can get +42 wheels with 205's on the rear of mine I'm sure you could push the other 70mm out with the right offset and a good lip or roll.
  13. You can make the car secure while its off its rail. Just pull the window up into the top of the frame and then wind the rail up under it to hold it there. Its happened so often to me that I can now fish my glass out of inside the door in under 30 seconds...... with the door skin still on!!!
  14. Yeah what the glass runs in. Sikaflex band-aid worked for a few months in Dirt. Bashing the glass back into the rail in Tar only lasts a week or two these days as the strip is proper fubarred. :glare:
  15. Yeah same deal. Doesn't matter if you glue the glass in the rail (I used sikaflex once) thats just a band-aid. The Underlying problem is the felted strips cranking and falling out.
  16. thanks guys. Strips in Tar are all cracked on the drivers window.... which causes the glass to come off its runner.... and drop into the door. Getting a bit over it. Cheers, Si.
  17. Hey, has anybody managed to find any replacement felted rubber strip that your wind up windows run through? Every other piece of rubber for a ke30/55 seems to be on ebay!:-{ Cheers si
  18. No worries but I need some car details first.
  19. Sounded like you knew him. Cough......
  20. Yeah it mightn't be the best looking car on the outside..... but that just adds the the unsuspecting nature that I like about it.
  21. That must have been out at powercruise.... only went out for a look. Anything said about it?
  22. Was that the car show out at entally estate?
  23. There was also one that had a factory fitted 5k and a K-T.
  24. I'm in. If the small group idea is what I think it is I might bring Dirt instead. :hmm:
