Well, I picked up this Blue spirit for the pricely sum of $350 with no rego, two blown tyres, macked brakes all round, a clutch that made driving the car more like an automatic that did a kickdown everytime you touched the throttle and a really bad paintjob. However, all the important points were there. Very little rust, straight panels and a near overrated interior. It even had the original paperwork that came with the car (manuals, etc), and something resembling a service history up to around 50,000km... :y: The engine is strong and doesn't blow even the slightest smoke. Picked her up last monday, I'm quite happy with her, its a massive upgrade from the EA and she is clean as... picked her up for a score too! When I got her; Had to get rid of those 'poofter stripes' down the rear quarters; It looks a bit more tough now... Hey all, well i have succeeded in getting my own car and as i had strongly hoped it was a KE70 I picked it up for 1300 and the body is clean as, with a tiny dot of rust which you can't see The interior is very clan though the drivers seat is torn up pretty bad :) its running on the stock 1.3 - 5 speed so far i've - painted the outline on the CS badge so it stands out again (chrome) - painted the COROLLA badge in the interior (on the passenger side) - CSX factory Mags - Red Carpet in boot (lol) - XXX badging on the grill future plans which will be soon - lowering the car (its way to high lol) - possible new engine at some point (more power) -…

I know this isnt relevent to this forum and I am not running any toyota parts but I thought people might be interested to see some custom work done on something unconventional. I wanted a scooter that was affordable, had a clutch, air filled tyres and was relatively fast and cheap to mod and service. This ruled out any go-ped or zenoa engine. Thanks to Thomo I now have a new Corolla in my yard. A very nice red 1994 AE102R Corolla Sprinter. It has some minor front end damage that I will be fixing as time and money come to hand. Once I get off my ass and take some pics I will post them up.

Hey all this is my puple baby. ca18 det powered ke20 coupe. the car is running at the moment was driving but is just about to go off the road for a r31 skyline brogwarner diff conversion, going to run 3.9 gears and a mini spool. the car has race seats, 15inch simmons usues the 180sx dash with lots of autometer gauges. big pwr cooler still uses the ke20 radiator with the 180 thermo fan, going to uprgrade but works well at the moment. saving money and looking into brake upgrades. will keep you posted on further devolpoments.

there r 3 of us on this project, we are underway in building a 79 ke55 coupe with a 302 Cleveland, c6 auto WHICH WE ALREADY HAVE. B&M mega shifter, shortened 9", we also have a AC Cobra cam, crank, and rods. we would like a custom 2 1/2" pipes to front of diff, it has 1990 ford tx-5 front seats with custom mounts, droptank, a re trim on the doors and custom back seats to allow for a mimi tub, no system at all but a set of 19's on the front, decked out with autometer guages(speedo, tacho, fuel, volts, water temp, Trans Temp,) and 8 switches for ignition, electric fans, parkers, alt, fuel pump, indicators, hazard lights, interior light. well keep u posted with pics …

Well, I recently got a job that required me to do 150+km's a day in peak hour traffic, and as I only have a very insane Commodore (It doesn't like traffic) and a motorbike (Winter+Peak Hour+Rain+Bike=Dead) I decided to find myself a cheap daily. I've wanted one of these for ages now i got one. The paint on it is less than 12 months old and it only has a few pin dints and the front bumper has been pushed in (has only bent the rio). It runs bloody awesome and the air con actually works. I still can't beleive i only paid $150 for it.

i was just wondering, has any one tried building an mini xb gt out of an ke55 rolla coupe?? would this look mad or would we look like a bunch of wankers? what are your thoughts?? let us know, we were only thinking about the exterior not the interior?? cheers

heres whats done so far 3.9 ratio locked diff. extreme heavy duty clutch. stock 4ac%nt with rebuilt head. straight out exhaust to homo spec cannon. resprayed acrillic white as of week end. beautiful black duct taped eyelids. corona control arms. custom double welded rear swaybar. black sprayed trx rims on front with apauling offset. chopped ea pedders falcon springs all round with monroe gas shocks bumpy as. custom strut brace cumstom bucket seat (stock seat with foam chopped out) works well. removed sound deadning. painted rocker cover WOW!! all electrical components replaced. at the moment car is export spec panda matt black and silver horrible paint …

Here is my latest rolla to my collection. 81 KE55 4K with 5 speed and just registered it. Got 4 new tyres, put a sound system in it, and brand new carpet just last weekend, put all the granny spec stuff like seat covers and steering wheel cover, put a KE20 carby on it with mechanical secondry and no vaccuum hoses except the dizzy one. Painted the rocker cover as you can see and put an air filter on it. It has deep dish rims that I just started polishing as u can see. Drives perfect, really light in the steering and with the old carby has good power for what it is. Ripped out the factory tape player and put a pioneer one, am rigging up the amp and sub now. Picked up this 1970 model RT81 Corona on Ebay last weekend in Queanbeyan. Its a bit odd because its got the factory SL tacho dash & 120mph speedo as well as the factory sports SL steering wheel. Runs the original 1500 & 4 speed. Looking for a good dash top if anyone knows of one.

Driveline has a Gen 2 3sge from a MR2 SW20. w58 gearbox shortened tailshaft (corona-) RA23 t series diff, standard celica (yet do LSD). Suspension / brakes Coilovers front, revalved Koni's ST141 stuts, pueguot discs, hilux calipers extra leaf in rear, koni reds Hilux master cylinder, remote booster. a heap of custom bits for this conversion. Hi All, Just thought i would inroduce myself and my project for the year. Just updating my KE20 to a better body and make it in line with the rules for Classic Adelaide & Improved Production Racing. My Dad and I have done the classic 5 times in a 1969 KE15 sprinter and it was time to change up to the 2ltr 3TG option. The car is getting a blasting internally at present and then the paintwork can start. It has already been issued with a CAMS log book so i can compete in the IPRASA rounds as well. Hey all my names Jarrod I live in capalaba and own a 78 ke30 4dr sedan. It came with the stock 3k which needed a rebuild so i stripped it down and left it there for 8 months. Got board saturday just gone so I went and bought a complete 5k and dropped it in, it isn't running just yet needs a few things such as a radiator. The only other things I've done so far is put a woodgrain steering wheel on goes well with the vinyl seats and some gold skull door lock knobs.
