bought a kouki ke70, my zenki one has become a donor atm thought this one deserved its own topic busy swapping parts atm, this is the first old corolla that i have found that didnt snap any of the 3 bolts connecting the inlet manifold to the exhaust manifold 101***km on the clock

this is my corolla that i hav just recently bought an started modifying it within hrs of it getting back to my house i had already chopped the rear springs and started strippin paint ready for the 2 tone yellow and black

i thought id throw mine up here after being under the house getting a rebuild and respray over the past 18 months. started out like this.. and 18 months and 1 or 2 thousand dollars later... inspiration for this car was from biggos green machine lol

Hey guys picked up this car a few months ago for my brother now I wish I kept it because its fun to drive and when you can't find a parking spot you can just put it in your back pocket and walk around seems to have near new interior, Air Con works well, cd player, handles like a mini, 3au motor is gutless but I'm sure it can be tweaked. unfortunately its an auto the bastard is drawing power when its turned off and kills the battery overnight and the speedo doesnt work but other than that its great... Hey guys Some of you may remember that white auto KE70 that was for sale in the car trader for a few weeks. Well I ended up buying it. And yea thats pretty much it. heheh, Nah. When I got it the paint was faded and the whole car was in need of a good clean inside & out. The car itself is pretty overrated. After giving it a wash my dad suggested that I polish it up a bit to bring up the shine. After a whole day of hard work I finally got it looking like brand new. I ask no questions, he tells no lies... all i need to know is, the damage isn't that bad, and $500 odd isn't too bad a price considering. Well, I went and finally got myself an little baby rolla. And a properly special one at that! I picked this up last night from Somerset, and drove it back with Ben. Drives like a dream for a 40 year old car! It has a 5k motor in it as it sits at the moment, bolted to a pretty tight 5 speed box. The diff whines like a whore with an infection though! Everything works, except the Alternator (well, it works enough that you can drive with the lights on, or the wipers, but not both. Will fix asap) Its got some rust, its got some dents, but it's going to get fixed up soon enough. Within the next 3 months! Piccies.. can't wait to start!

Well, I finally got the Corolla that I wanted! Picked it up last weekend. It's a 79, 4 door, 5 speed. Got some minor rust on the quarter panels but we'll be taking care of that part soon. Right now it's painted flat black cause the guy we got it from has a thing with painting all of his cars flat black. I guess it was a gold color orginally so I might go back to that or paint it blue to match my husband's 2 door 79. Husband's working on it as we speak. Nothing on it, pretty stock, just centerlines at the moment but who knows what else is going to happen to it. Wish me luck!! Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!

Hey all I am new to the forums figured I would post my latest project :y: Not that anyone would probably care but I have had a 1979 2door mk2 escort for about 4 years spent way to much money on it and have had a 4agze with lots of JDM bits converted to turbo with a disco potato and a lt10s sitting my garage for about a year now waiting to go in..... Just picked this up and have not decided what i am to do with it (also the wife is not to impressed due to having a Ke26 4door and a 72 HQ kingswood) It is fairly rustly but still able to be saved, all the trim and mouldings are good and the tailgate does not have any rust at all. If I am to keep it, it will probably get a SR20det and set up for the drags but still street rego'd Tell me what you think?

This is my fourth rolla and hopefully not the last but instead of using it for khanacross(which i use all the others for) this one is going to be road registered so I can use it when I get my L's (in 2 yrs) The car cost me $150 it is not licenced at the moment (It was but the people kept the plates :hmm: ). the interior is imaculate :lol: no cracks in the dash, and it has not faded. The body is in very good condition on the drivers side but needs a new rear panel on the passengers side. Under the hood it has a stock 4K-C Hi-Cam motor which has a Blown head gasket. hey guys, i thought i should finally do up one of these, I have and 82 ke70, i bought this car for just a learner drift car to get down the basics first. i had plans to drop a 13bt into it but i am pretty sure that its illegal in queensland :D , at the moment its pretty standard, with 4k and 5spd box, chopped and sitting on bump stops and locked diff. i have resprayed it gloss black(its not perfect) took me awhile to do in my garage and limited time... i need coilovers and some dishies really bad..... its not finished just yet. there is a rust repair to be done.( thanks to mungi mods) thanks. and install a stereo, gauges, tacho etc fiddly stuff heres some pics.…

Picked up another rolla last week. 90.000kms, no oil leaks, reco head, new hoses, fairly good bodywork. Stock as, all ihave done is pull all the door moulds of cos it was missing a couple. Got it with rego for 500 bucks, tell me what you thimk and maybe what its worth. Also what i should do with it, i was thinking lower it and put some whitewalls on there. Cheers

Hi Everyone, I've been looking around here for the past few months at everyones rides so I thought I'd share a couple of pics of mine. I don't know much about my rolla, I bought because I was looking for a cheap run around as a 2nd car (paid $700 for it) but I've kinda fallen in love with it now!! It's a 1980 KE55 SE in Ivory Glow, well I call it 'bowls beige', with beige interior. It has the original 4K and auto in it, total granny spec. I'm the 2nd registered owner and it was originally bought new from Terry Shields Toyota in Parramatta. Hope the pics work!

I was originally looking to buy an AE86, but found him sitting next to the railway line in Auchenflower (brisbane) and thought, "Meh, close enough." :P I chucked a 4A-C motor in, the old motor was destroyed, (already had a T50 box) and ran him for about 3 months, but then the inevitable craving for power kicked in and i needed more performance! Although many looked at me strangely when i said i wanted power from a 4A-C, I did the easiest thing an chucked a Weber in (32/36), this resulted in 90hp at the fly and 58hp at the wheels, not too bad really. Well i thought it was time to start up a project thread and let you all know what I'm upto and what my plans are. I Have 2 Ke's Sitting in my driveway, my old ke55 which i was running with the standard 4k and 4 speed combo, and decided to die on me one night, since that night, it has not been started or moved, it's been close to a year now. its got a near overrated interior, Its been resprayed a few years back before i got it, so its fair decent.
