recently bought a 1 owner 1982 ke70, pretty good condition. it has a few bits of surface rust here and there but no big rust patches. Only thing that is wrong with it is the clear coat is fading off on the bonnet , bootlid and a little bit on the roof. The car has done 260 000k's and it's the original engine, gave it a service the other day and it's gutless as hell but cheap on fuel ;) hopefully 1 day it will get a new paint job and mild 4age conversion with the stuff thats in my ae71 paddock basher. Since I've been a member here for few weeks now without a corolla, I have finally decided to buy one, so I'm a corolla guy once more. I just recently bought a 1976 SR5 TE37 ^_^ for $1000USD for me to have as a dialy commuter because I want to be driving with style hahaha. The smog pollution exemption here in california is only up to 1975 only, this really sucks but I think I can live with having a smog check every year. As of right now, the car runs with its stock 2TC motor and a 5 speed manual transmission. The main body is white color and clean with the exception of bad hood and a right fender. Interior needs work, so I might start buying parts from here soon. D…

After a year and a half of searching and waiting I have finally got my first corolla! Its a 1984 KE70 Wagon. Picked it up for $600. The aim at this stage is to fix it up to road worthy and use as a daily. Down the track though I plan to give it an engine upgrade though. Still haven't decided between a 4AGTE or a CA18DET. I will upload some photos as soon as I can and you can see the work in progress.

Ok guys ive started the rebuild on my ke11. Due to my limited budet (saving for a house :P ) ive decided to start on the interior for now. Here are the pics of the new door panels i cut out at work today in my spare time. I still havnt decided what material to re trim in, but due to this car being my daily driver ive just put the panel on bare for now. Starting on the parcel shelf and boot area next, ill post pics as i do them

i thought id throw mine up here after being under the house getting a rebuild and respray over the past 18 months. started out like this.. and 18 months and 1 or 2 thousand dollars later... inspiration for this car was from biggos green machine lol

Hi all, sold my charade a few months ago and bought this to run around on: Bug Agility 125 It was fantastic till the rains set in....then it was time to get another reliable daily... Ended up going with a TOYlet (1998 Toyota Starlet LiFE) Just got an alarm/central locking put in, will have tints next week, and that's where the mods end. This car is AWESOME! for a 1.3 it's heaps quick and extremely well built. would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable an fuel efficient daily. Cheers, Mark

Yep well i bought this off a mate for 100 bucks it took me just over a year to get him to sell it to me its my new project, its a 1984 slanty front, 4 kc 5 speed, so far i have changed the ingintion barrel ( because my mate lost the keys), new hetick stock air filter, two poztenza front tyres for super grip, and i painted it ghetto back with 24 bucks of spray cans ( ill do it right the next time, it was just to keep my mum happy she really hates mismatching panels on cars). took her out for the first drive pop head gasket blows, so i took the head off and went wow thats alot of corrision in there so i went down and got a second hand head for her, then i went to get it fa…

Just thought I would intro the Family. The youngest 2008 Aurion Sportivo SX6 The 80mod T18 you've meet, getting ready for paint this week and then for sale. The newest addition 79mod KE38 Wagon one owner deceased estate. 97000 klms all service books upto date. $1200. This little KE 38 is a ripper should be registered by Friday. Nothing to do to it. Even the original radio and tape deck still work fine. A wash and polish wouldn't go a stray though. The collection is growing! Loosing the roo bar!

Ok, the chaos begins, today I parked project Tofu (the new minter) in the backyard, in the next week or so I'll clear up the little bits I feel are needed........ Eg. Front left indicator not working and cracked: new bulb, replace casing/lense. Rear right indicator cracked (still working) will replace lense. Upgrade headlights for a giggle. Bit of a clean up, then daily duties until I finish gathering parts for conversion #1....... :y: Let it be known, this project will take time, it's on a very limited finacial input, but will get there....... Hey all. My name's evan and ive been on here a little while as i used to have a KE55 sedan. Sold it some time ago so haven't been real active on the forum. Anyway, just today i went and had a look at a 1977 KE36 wagon. Loved it inside and out (even the poo brown paint) and put a deposit on it. So, will be picking it up on monday. Not real sure where i'll go with this project but initially i want a cool daily cruiser. Got some sound gear to go in and will prolly get some 16's on it soon. So, if anyone has any ideas on where i should go from here, or what i should put on/in the rolla, it will be much appreciated. Cheers all. Ev.

Recently i bought an ae71 panel van with a 4ac 1.6 motor. the car has only done 69000 and was owned by a granny since new. The car came with new tyres half a tank of fuel and was in roadworthy cond. i paid 100 bucks for it!! :'( since, ive ripped out the 4 speed n put in a t-50, carpeted the back, new speco air filter as shown in pic, put a set of 16s on her and put in a stez. The stez consists of a pioneer dehp9650mp head unit, set of 250 watt 6x9s and 200 watt splits plus 2 rockford fosgate 10" subbies, just got to buy 2 rockford amps n shell be rockn! as i got a steal only payin a hunge for her i have more money to spend on other gear- like a 4…

Hey guys, this is my rolla TE72 / T-18 I was given this car. Took me a while to realize it had potential. Just got my hands on a ke11 rolla on the (07/07/07.....might be lucky :y: ), this is my first rolla build with plans to turn it into a daily/hillclimb with a ca18de. Haven't done a whole yet just sussing the body work, housing the motor and box and getting all the parts together at the moment. I ended up using a ke55 tunnel, it hosts the box nicely with it out the car. Not to sure on how to go about making engine mount templates, any ideas are appriciated i would concider anything. will have pics up shortly keep an eye out James

Well picked this up for the price of a case :) Its very dirty and smelly, but it has potentional. It has minimal rust, and is in desperate need of a cut and polish! And from what i can tell its a dished piston 4k!

hey guys got yet another ke70 the other day, paid only a little amount of dollars, but wont let on haha 83 CS FLAT FRONT Air con. Red, came up great afta a buff a tiny little bit of rust behind the passenger wheel arch but not gonna touch it at this stage 4K 4SPEED interior is neat and tidy, with no cracks in the dash(dash mat) just a rip in drivers seat Stockies all round 200,000KM ON THE CLOCK ALL Books and service history Recon motor, Including head, Water pump, Thermo, radiator I'm the 3rd owner PLANS FOR THE FUTURE ARE, SOME SUSP. Well this is my completed ke55. I fixed all the rust and done all the body work in about 10 hours. It was pretty bad aswell. The bonnett and front guard were completely fcked so i replaced them with rust free ones. I then painted it with clear over base 2 pack paint, which was sprayed by me in the booth at work. i have replaced the motor with another 4k because my original motor had over 700 000 kms on it and the odometer didnt work lol. My newer motor has 179000 on it so I'm laughing. i picked this car up for $600 with rego and i have probably spent about $1500 on it. it just passed a pink slip yesterday and i am going for rego sometime soon. Here is my 1984 KE70 corolla I got it just b4 xmas its auto atm but i do have a near complete man conversion just need the clutch cable pedal box and a new clutch it has SSR formula mesh wheels 15x7 and 15x7.5 which I'm thinking of selling future plans: respray the whole car and fix all the guards and different wheels exhaust and maybe a cam and webber carby nothing to crazy, down the track if i find the time a 4age conversion

Hey guys, its been a while since last on. Been doin stuff. Still working on my ke25 . i got an airbrush 2 weeks ago and thought i'd give it a wirl. Self tought, its amazing the stuff you can learn off you tube.. I did this today, took about 3 hrs to paint. Hi Everyone, This is my 3rd corolla so far, the first two being KE70's. haven't made any threads for this yet, although it is only stock atm, so not too exciting :) Currently have a 4ac powerhouse in the engine bay, with stock suspension and sway bars making fast corners a dream :P few bits of rust, mainly around the fuel cap and near the back right wheel arch.
