G'Day Rollas, This is my introduction and entry for my KE70 code name 'Swift'. This baby is my first car and I absolutely love her! The car has been in our family for 30 years, most of which it's been in a garage for 20 of them and is still in pretty much perfect condition. I have done some work on the car since I have received it. I'm not very good with cars but I think this car is the perfect to start to learning on. I'll be using this thread as my way of tracking and logging my progress. As of right now the current upgrading and modifications I'm looking at are.. Upgrade the stock sound system, Hopefully install sub and amp too. Replace tachometer from KE70…

1984 ke70 I'm the 3rd owner; it's been serviced regularly and only done 230, 000 k's In good condition, runs well, minimal rust on rear wheel arches It appears to be missing a left side mirror...... hrrmm Plan on keeping it stock and just cleaning it up and using it as my daily as it's my first beast. :S

i brought the car for $200 an it was licensed but had a blown head gasket. i resprayed in myself and did all the work myself andall up it cost $500 an its running like a dream. please comment and tell me what u think :2thumbs:

Hey guys, I'll get this hit off. Recently I just discovered that my girlfriends father has a 1979 KE50 corolla sitting in his garage, he bought it brand new back in the day for $10k. He's quite attached to it and loves it to bits as it was his first car and he still has it to this day. Here's the newest addition to Wagon Mafia, Havasu Chapter. She's a 1980 Corolla wagon, 3TC with an Auto trans. The car was bone stock when we got it a couple of weeks ago, picked it up right. Someone towed it wbehind a motorhome or something, so there was a big ole' gnarly towbar in the front, and they did a horrible DIY trailer light kit, and whoever did it obviously was not a technician. As you can see, the floors are all there, and the car is pretty solid, some scrapes and bumps, but overall not bad for the money. Hi guys, my names nick and this is my KE55 sedan. Picked it up a few moths ago from a elderly lady. Engine has no leaks and is very solid, 4 speed is very tight along with the diff. The body has a few spots of rust which I'm reparing now. Plans for it is to repair the rust, re-spray in original colour, lower it, sports exhaust new lights etc, just to make it a tidy cruiser. Only bought it to replace my ss ute from daily duties, spent to much money on it and now it only see's weekend cruises lol. Will keep you posted as it comes together. Hey Rolla fans. recently decided to get a ke70 wagon. love the way they look but wasnt too keen on the small 4k engine. was thinking about putting a 4age motor with a k50 gearbox etc in. i've seen a lot on this site going around and just wondering is it a legal conversion? or one that is really hard for police to pick up on? Hey, I'm from North Carolina, just picked up a 1983 wagon and I'm ready to start work on it. I am a bit confused about the suspension on these cars as far as interchangeability goes. The rear is leaf spring, but is the front the same as all e70's? I'm still confused by all the chassis designations. It seems people like to run ae86 coilovers up front, what all parts do I need for this conversion? Mainly just wondering what springs/shocks I can use really for a budget setup in the front, thanks. hey guys just sold my ke70 to a mate and done a mad mission to syd to pick up the new daily on the weekend its an 82 model 4 door ke55 corolla that has had a full 4age t50 swap done has race seats fuel system and surge tank few other little mods spent last 2 days fixing little things and adding a little of my own style on a few thing now has fender mirrors relocated from doors alot of new fuel lines in the boot as it was a bit of a mess when i got it had cracked and leaking fuel lines ect now has all new blue silicone fuel lines in boot spent about an hour in the engine bay tidying up wires that where very unsafe still haveto conect …

Long story short. Bought this corolla of an old man about 5 years ago for 1400 bucks. Drove it stock for a while then got sick of monster truck height so lopped the springs and got defected. Got off defect after about a month of getting it to regency spec and slowly its getting towards exactly the way I want it.
