  1. I would check continuity of the coil using a multimetre
  2. Thanks for that. So you didnt find any flat top pistons in that size? I'm building a track car with twin 40mm sideraughts, so comp is key I have what seems to be a big port 3k head, ports been worked to 32mm
  3. Altezzaclub, can most 4ks take the overbore to 5k?
  4. Hi Ben, A 5k is the most straight forward easy swap. Gives more torque due to larger bore size.
  5. It would help volumetic effeciency because you havent got 4cyls trying to all feed of one little carby.
  6. Cool, well done. Can you post up pics and briefs on mods you did to make it work please?

Ranko thats awesome power out of a 3k. Well done! Must be some good engineering in that motor
  8. So what cam spec did you end up with? Liking the sound of this engine build, cmon mate, get this going so we can watch it on youtube!
  9. I have found otomoto sell a blank camber top http://otomoto.mobile034.com/c/4037308/1/camber-tops.html
  10. Nice build, so i imagine you need to deck the head along with those pistons to get 11:1?
  11. Are they stock 4k flat tops?
  12. When i had my ke30 back in 1997, my mate had just done a rebuild on a customers ke wagon that had a 2TG with the solex sideraughts. We had just finished rebuilding my worked 5k at the time. The 2tg went so much better in stock form, i wish i had done the conversion instead. I reckon a well worked head with good compression would be awesome, working with technology that matches the era of the car.
  13. From memory the tacho gets a signal from the negative coil terminal
  14. Very clean build mate. I remember going for a run in a gemini years ago that had a blow thru 32/36 weber, far out it went hard! I have a t28 turbo off my s14 if your interested? Keen to see this build come together, good work
