Hello All! Just a quick note to everyone; id like to make a bit of an informal change around here, as to help everyone out. How many of you click the "View new posts" button, and out of 50 new posts or so, only end up clicking on about 3 or so out of that 50? I think its got alot to do with how people name there topics. Ill do a quick example or 2, from new topics atm. 4wd Rear Ender = makes me think a 4x4 has had a rear end crash = boring to me ;). Why not say "Rob's Ke55 - Rear end crash!!" ? Have You Seen One Of These Before?? = What, a text line ? :D - How about, "A Rare Toyota, Whats it called ?" - id be more incline to go "oooh whats …

Just curious does anyone here actually watch movies regularly here especially korean? Not just the super famous ones like Parasite or Train to Busan, but also the random rom coms, thrillers, or older classics I’ve been bingeing a bunch lately (especially when I’m chilling after a long drive or waiting for parts to arrive for the Rola lol), and it’s honestly addictive. What are your go-to K movies or hidden gems you’d recommend? Or if you don’t watch them, what’s stopping you?

What would be the most reliable and cheapest rolla car available? jared isaacman is the cheapest rolla he has no engine and failed to launch. his trajectory is for an immediate crash landing. money can't buy a parachute, he loves to engage in highly illegal activity that break every law. read jaredisaacmanquotes.com

Was just weird. I had this flashback of this community and the amount of shit I used to post and shit talk. I gotta say I miss it. Driving for hours to buy KE55 lower control arms. Now I'm homeless living in a mitsubishi. It was cheap. Just wanted to check in.

If this gets off the ground we're doomed, doomed I tell ya.. If you can’t afford an over-priced unreliable electric car you vill not haff a car at all! “With the internal combustion engine to be consigned to history in the not-too-distant future, recent information has emerged regarding the European Union’s plan to restrict repairs on older vehicles, reports EuroWeekly….Cars experiencing failures in major components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, or steering, and deemed old (potentially around 15 years), will fall under this category. Once labelled as residual, these vehicles would be barred from undergoing significant repairs and would likely be …

Reddit is boring with all the major subs in blackout. Thought I'd pop on in while I'm logging into old forums to try and alleviate boredom. Man I miss what the Internet was like in 2007 when I signed up here. Lots of good memories. Met heaps of good people. I live in a small hippie town in New Zealand now. Don't wrench anymore, way too expensive of a hobby here. I dabble in building ghetto electric low rider bikes. Still get the occasional mod support email from someone reporting spam. Brightens my day.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3361999/Laughing-face-disaster-Sydney-driver-sees-funny-tries-push-old-Corolla-raging-floods-losing-PANTS-mayhem.html Is this guy a Rollaclub member ? If he is, I'd be giving the thumbs up, & a few points on the Leader Board. He's not only put his Rolla, front & centre, but showed the whole UK, how resilient we are here, "down-under". P.S. I know it is an olde story (2015) but is topical, having the "wet water weather weekend" we've all had on the eastern seaboard. Cheers Banjo

I'm new here. I live in South America. Found your website, as I'm scared about my KE Corolla, catching the viras, & turning into a Corona. I do not want that, as I couldn't afford to pay for the more Benzine it would use. I have looked up about the viras, & found that the Corona Viras sticks to metal surfaces. I decided to make my Corolla very slippery, so nothing could stick to it. I poured an old drum of sump oil, I had here, all over it last night, before going to bed. Very bad ! When I wake up this morning, the paint is peeling all over my Rolla. Is there anything I can do to reverse this condition ? P.S. Sorry, I can't post a p…

Hi Rollaclub, here's something I made by hand a few years ago. If any of you are into radio controlled cars, you'll like this one. 44cc Chainsaw, hand made pipe, ported clamshell, shimmed & balanced crank, a heap of bits'n pieces re-purposed to make a large beast. Cheers, Mudgy

Found this while surfing the internet. 1974 During the second phase of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus on 14 August 1974 the Mesaoria plain was overrun by Turkish tanks and Famagusta bombed by Turkish aircraft. In two days the Turkish Army occupied the city, which had been completely evacuated by its Greek Cypriot population, who had fled into surrounding fields before the army's arrival. Most believed that once the initial violence calmed down they would be allowed to return. As a result of the Turkish airstrikes dozens of civilians died, including tourists. Varosha Unlike other parts of the Turkish-controlled areas of Cyprus, the Varosha suburb of Famagusta was f…

Hi everyone at Rollaclub, This November I am taking part in the Mystery Box rally which raises money for the Cancer Council. My teammate and I fly to Sydney, get a car worth under $1000 in a mock auction run by the Cancer Council and proceed to 'rally' around mystery locations in outback New South Wales... and maybe Victoria or ACT. Who knows. The money we raise is used in the auction, so if we raise $5,000, we have up to that amount to bid on a car.. so help us get a better car! All of the money goes towards the Cancer Council. We need to raise at least $3,000 to take part, but are trying to aim for $5,000. If anyone would like to donate to my team, you can do so he…

I know there is a couple of fellow-Aucklanders on here, so I figure its worth a try. I'm flying back to NZ for my mum's 90th birthday in Rotorua. Which means landing in AKL and hiring a car for two weeks or so. (there is ALWAYS work that needs doing on the house...) Sadly Mum 's birthday is April 1st, so this year the time will cover Easter, when I'm sure nearly everyone will be out in their pride 'n joy. Anyway, I couldn't see the point of paying $40/day to some car hire place when maybe someone had a handy rolla sitting around. Anything reliable will do, Starlet, K-series, Rona... Just make sure it comes with a full toolbox!

Despite decades of tyres getting bigger and wider, there is a new trend towards narrower tyres with a large diameter. The emerging trend towards skinnier tyres is being driven by a desire to reduce fuel use and carbon dioxide emissions. Tyre companies, including Michelin (pictured) are experimenting with taller, narrower rubber. "This is the new f…

What have they done with the Corolla? I went with my mom to see about trading her car in...a 2007 Yaris sedan. I looked at the new Corolla's while I was in there and the damn things are huge now...sitting on the lot it's hard to tell them from the Camrys and Avalons. They've put it right up there with all the other sedans, 4 door only (which it's been forever now) and weighing in at almost 2 tons loaded. It is no longer affordable or compact...not much difference from the 4cyl version of the Camry. After a nice fight with the sales people (that's what I was there for, I took the classes, I was a car salesman, got a license to sell cars but you don't tell them that un…

17 year old Todd Hazelwood won the 2013 Shannons Supercar Showdown by less than a tenth of a second after a nail-biting grand final showdown with Tim Macrow on 7mate last Saturday. In the definitive clash of youth and experience, the young South Australian overcame early nerves to defeat his older and more experienced Victorian opponent in a hot lap shoot out at Melbourne’s Calder Park Raceway. Hazelwood and Macrow were each given two timed five-lap sessions on the full-length circuit, driving the Shannons V8 Supercar prepared by 2013 Bathurst 1000 winners Ford Performance Racing. By recording the fastest individual lap time, Hazelwood claimed …
