If there is a thread like this already, forgive me. (If there is that will be going in there) Post up some good quotes relating to Rolla's, life, the universe...everything. Or some good ones you come across on here. (i.e. Engine hat). God that was classic. "What is originality? Undetected plagiarism." Personally a lot of the good ones I've seen on here are in peoples signatures, so I won't re-re-plagiarise them.

Yo, today my cousin was talking about making a 1st fire up vid for the TT LS 300 where he said his mate had suggested stuffing the pipes with 50's so they blow out into a shower of money when it comes to life to replicate 'running the car burns money' so my question is does anyone know where to find fake $50 notes for entertainment or play as stuffing real 50's into the exhaust might be costly. P.S. I do not want counterfeit money and I have done a google search and an ebay search and it is all US fake notes.

My Sister (the blood blister) came around a few weeks ago to service the civic. The car's pushing 36 years old and she's no car buff, so I mentioned that it might be time to start looking for a newer daily. As I've got the 'rolla bug, I was thinking AE92 with auto, air and power. The budget was as cheap as possible, so planned to grab a nice one and fix 'er up. Last week I spied a ae82 with super low ks that had been sitting in a paddock. The same day I went to look at it one of the girls at work approached me and asked; what should she do with her N13 Pulsar? I listed the usual, carpoint, evil bay etc, and she said she wasn't interested. She just wanted it go…

Hey all, Due to the recent few weeks and few problems with my Corolla i am on the hunt for a new daily. I'm running tight on the financial side so id say anywhere under the $5000 mark and would prefer not to have to pick it up from interstate... I have done a little looking at this and that but not sure what to look at. I'm thinking a 4cyl that's sporty and has some power behind it. so far i have aimed towards a Celica (Am loving This one) what other cars would you recommend? thanks tyler.

I was recently pointed out by toy-yoda of a mistake of the number 82 being hachi jyu, I have recently changed that to hachi ni as 8 = hachi and 2 = ni and 86 owners say that 86 = hachi roku. Last night I was doing some web browsing on japanese counting and found that hachi juu (ju) is 8 - 10 which is actually 80 and in japanese counting a 2 digit number actually combines 3 words (alot like german), so really 82 and 86 is the following: 82 = hachijuuni (8 0 2) 86 = hachijuuroku (8 0 6) And for the 71 owners: nanajuuichi This probably isn't really important and most of you won't care but meh.

Hi my name's bamboo and it's been 4 days since my last drink. That's not so bad. But it's been only 1 hour since my last car purchase. I'm home with my hands smelling of petrol and that dreamy look again! It's been less than 2 months since my purchase before that. Stand by to see a two owner 1971 RT81. First owner was a WW1 vet. Comes with all receipts etc. one spot of rust on LH front guard and bonnet rust. All trims intact, interior in good nick except the dash pad. Has some cool features like AMI seatbelts. Fuel pump has stopped working, but ran well with petrol down the carb. Towing home next week. More friggin photos to come.

Quite simply I am looking at putting in a Puratap. Not sure about other states, but Adelaide water is not to my drinking standards so I have been buying those 10litre boxes of water for many years now. They are annoying though. So, I am considering the Puratap option. I got a quote........ they are doing some special at the moment....... $249 gets the whole thing fully installed, nothing more to pay. Then it's just filter replacement every 12 months which is about $40 to $50. Is there anything I should know? I really only want to hear from you if you have one. Are you happy with it? Cheers, Chobis with a silent C :)

I love my Rolla so much. I love waking up and driving to work in it. I love driving home from work in it. When I'm home I insist I take it to the shops instead of the Falcon. I walk into the garage sometimes just to look at it. Mine is a daily, some have weekenders, some have projects. When do you love your Rolla so much you need to tell someone? This is for the love guys! We all know how much they piss us off!

The subject of this thread could also be: "How to make a reasonably decent amount of money for very little time and effort". Firstly, find yourself a neglected (but not abused) ZZE122. This one came from a guy who lived in the rainforest and considers his car more of an appliance than a precious chariot of freedom or object of worship... Which is fine. It had never been washed, polished, or vacuumed. Ever. Thats 8 years worth of crap, mould, and other contaminants. I purchased as is where is for $3000. Gerni that shit. All of it. Everywhere. Engine bay. NEVER been degreased... But had been semi-regularly serviced. Don't be shy with t…

So, in my time on Rollaclub, ive noticed countless posts that have had a total lack of: - Understandable spelling - Proper punctuation & - Proper sentences. Does anybody else find they end up with a headache attempting to read a bunch of words with no punctuation? I wont go naming names or picking on certain people who do this time after time as that is totally unfair. This is simply a pet peeve that i hope some people can rectify. As this is a recurring problem, i think it is about time somebody complained about this. I am completely sick of reading, for instance, a for sale thread that does not have a single comma, full stop or capital letter …

I was flushing the cooling system in my 'cruiser today. When I was refilling the rad I bumped the rad cap..somewhere. For the love of god, I cannot find it. I'll go buy another tomorrow, but it really gives me the shits!! Once when I was an apprentice I managed to "drop" my spark plug socket into the chassis rail of an ea falcon. if that car is still going (most unlikely as it is a ford) my socket is still in there. There was no way to get it out!! So what have you dropped/knocked that made it to a place where no human could possibly put it?

it seems to me that there are more KE2x corollas in Adelaide than any other part of the country and considering other cities have larger populations that doesnt really make sense, is there any particular reason that SA has a buttload of nice old corollas??

I was surfing away and found the hemi6 website. As I own a Val, I thought I'd take a look around. I was told you can't view unless your a member.I'm told it's free. So I try and join. I'm then told my e-mail has been banned and I have to report it to get through. I reported and have waited 4 hours, with no response. I thought forums wanted people to join, not make their life a misery. Which is why I support rollaclub. by the people, for the people! Bamboo
