The finale is here. It has been 11 weeks in the making, but we’re down to the last leg of the competition! It was 77 days ago that 10 rookie racecar drivers of all description entered the Kelly Racing headquarters in order to pit their skills against each other. Last week not only saw the contestants from the Shannons Supercar Showdown pilot a V8 Supercar, but it also saw them being introduced to a rather familiar face… The bombshell that was dropped at the end of last week’s episode was a big one. A contestant from series one, all round sweetheart Samantha Reid, had been invited to join the remaining three to compete for the spot in the Kelly Racing V8 Supercar. The more the merrier, right! In That time it took me 6 months to motivate myself to fit it (Was sitting in a cupboard in the shed). I was driving home today and it hasnt rained on the sunny coast for over 3 weeks, As I cruised down the Steve Irwin Way a mad heavy shower came down, I had my windows open, and 3 weeks worth of road smells lifted up into the air. That fresh smell of rain and all the old oily dead smell of cars kinda merged into this great smell. Hot road, cold rain. Hey maybe it's not for everyone but what's those automotive smells that you love? And apart from old gearbox oil, the worst?

hey guys, 2 days ago i got done for speeding. 149 in a 110 zone. it cost me 6 points and 350 bucks. ANy ideas on how i am gonna tell me parents cause i lose my liscence for 3 months or i go on good behaviour for 12 months with 2 points. i just don't know how to tell my folks, any ideas???

Well, it's off topic.. as there are no corollas from what I've seen so far. I've set up the stand for Car Audio Australia and I've had a peak around and seen what's out there. Can you believe across the stand from us is 4 x VL Interceptors and 2 x Walkies that look PRETTY MUCH IDENTICAL???? I'm gonna leave this thread open for MEGA photo shoots to appear...
