well thought id let you all know whats put a halt to my starlet project..... on stands bought for a massive $400 running gear was removed to go into a morrie minor. hence its missing some major and some weird components. mmmboost sold me a 4k, already had a k50 lying around, and scrounged an S leaf housing and a complete ae85 diff so mix and match with. WDE_BDY found the correct (i hope!) drive shaft at a wreckers so that should arrive next week. I'm working on my dash. I wanted some thing LIKE this just were the small gages are. this is what i had and wanted the gages to face me more eg on an angle. so what I'm going to do is cut some pool pipe 560mm that the gages fit very sung in. wile i was going to do this i thought i would fix my first cup i made. so i cut the pipe at an angle (i just guessed the angle i needed) and all 3 in there started glassing.. i just put a little hot glue to hold the cups.. and i decided that the gages should be spreed out more rather than bunched up. i added the plastic i cut off the end to the middle bits to make it stronger. and made shore the gages lo…

The car is a '73 TA22, 5 speed, rebuilt hi comp 13t, custom quad throttle bodies, haltech ecu, red everthing!, the outside of the car is being taken care of taken care of at the moment in a body shop and will be resprayed. "Oh no not another thread", Yes its me again. This is my Datsun 1200 ute thats has more Toyota parts than Datsun. Upgraded to a 4AGE 20V, T50 Box and Microtech all from my 2 door KE30 and it already had KE30 front struts, LCA, Tie rod ends and steering arms. More pics as i go, but this was 4 hours work so far including pulling out the old engine. Engine mounts on the Xmember will be next and by the looks of it its going to take abit of fabrication work.

Over the last two weeks my KE20 has gone under a transformation, becoming the nanna spec ride I've always wanted. I bought it just over 3 months ago these were the basic specs when I first got it. Hey guys. lurking around these forums for a while and i thought id post up a pic of the car i jsut bought. bought it last saturday with RWC and rego. exactly a week later (would of been in the hour) of driving it out of the driveway from where i bought it... well you can see what happened. i was stationary. was stopped for about 5 seconds waiting in a line of traffic. suddenly a big bang. the lady behind me didnt see me at all (sun in eyes) and didnt even get the chance to touch the brakes.

This is my crappy '84 s2 KE70 5sp. Picked it up off some old guy for cheap as in Jan. Been working on it with rust and whatnot since... Has had a fair bit of rust cut out etc and a boot and guards transplant. Currently has the following mods: 14" Cross Fevers. Tacho Dash. Drift button. YO Grilllz. No sound deadening. ive already got a members ride on here somewhere for my KE20 but i picked up a 25 a couple of weeks ago so ill put everything in one thread.... alright. The KE25 came to me through divine intervention..... it started on christmas day when my KE20 shit itself and left me stranded at home, alone, on chrissy day. my family is a 3 hour drive away so i decided to call around and do christmas with some mates. one of the mates happened to own a 4age powered KE25 and he had run up the back of a hilux a couple of weeks before christmas, we got talking on chrissy day and the way he described the car it was a write off so i offered him 1500 for the car so i could swap the engine…

So.. Ive decided that along with the casual street work I usually do, I'm just not satisfied. So I made a decision that will change my whole appearance. I'm going to do drag! It all started last week with a suggestion from a mate at work who has been regularly out on wednesday night and convinced me its something I should add to my repetoire. He said it was a blast and that its the most fun you can have in one night. So last wednesday night I went out and had a great time! I own a green AE112 corolla levin i got stock about six months ago. i swapped my dad my ae112 ascent for it :wink: first thing that had to be done to it was a stereo, kenwood double din tv/dvd headunit, fusion 6" splits, fusion 6 1/2" 3 ways in the parcel tray, fusion 4channel 900watt amp, fusion 12" powerplant 1300watt sub, fusion 1000watt monoblock amp. the stereo cranks its good for close to 130db.. more recent mods 2 1/4" cat back exhaust, 17"by7" advanti mazeR wheels and super low king spring.. I'm looking at doin a head conversion so ill be running a 7age is there anywhere in sydney that builds 7age's ??

Haven't post here in a while, but here goes.. Hi guys and girls, just wanna show my latest purchase. 1984 AE71 Wagon, with stock 4ac+5 speed manual. Stock interior except for the CD player on the dash. Stock suspension. Stock everything really :P. I'll let the pics do the talking. Future plans are to replace the cd player with stock am/fm radio on the dash, put a decent audio system, lower it a bit, some sort of old-skool mags, and maybe 4ag conversion later on. Enjoy!

Had plans for doing up my ae71 but crashed it so needed a replacement.. :) so now i have an 81 ke70 in fair condition.. not an issue though. started stripping it down and yeah theres what i would call some rust, (others may say alot :P ) well progress so far started stripping the interior apart, and sanding back all the bog and paint for prep. this is how it looked when i picked it up. plans finish off stripping interior. get exterior all fixed and primed. repair/replace rim/s remove engine, g/box entire driveline. weld in chassie supports. So i Bought the Ksev about February of 2009, dirty old 4k, standard, Got some wheels, a new exhaust, gktech wheel, and basically havent done much else to it, Finally decided its time to attack it and get it looking somewhat better than it was, so i started by finding what rust i had and figured why not get into it and sand it back to give it a new colour. decided i wanted to do an engine conversion, found a cheap CA18det engine package and have started the process of long hours of sanding, welding, bogging, more sanding, fab work, and such.. Havent got a deadline as of yet, so atm i do some work, forget about it, do some more, and so on...

The lady whoe owned it has had it for the last 28 years, it is in pretty good shape for the amount of work it has done, if it needed repairing she had it fixed. Well like every story starts off, i was looking for a car. We had just sold the pajero and i wanted something to have as a daily driver as my corolla is just receiving far too much police attention with its mods it has. So I thought I'd make this thread as a way to keep track of the stuff I'm doing with this car... The first car i've owned and worked on stock 4k-c, 3sp Auto. Only 47,000 on the clock! Okay so I bought a 3.8 v6 with computer and loom for the rolla at the start of February. :dance: So plans for it so far are as follows: Probably a welded diff under it, until i find a reasonably cheap alternative. (won't be road registered) Seam weld areas under most stress. Might have a crack at making up some bracing for front end, behind front guards. Take interia out except for front seats until I get sone racing seats and harnesses. Most likely have to shorten the tailshaft. Things i have done so far: - Cut the mounts off Corolla cross member. - Taken exhaust manifolds off to be modified. - Cleaned engine, free of oil, grime, dust…

Just acquired this ke10 from TE278U. Plans are to get it running first (damn electronic dizzy), fresh coat of satin black inside and out, some red steelies and crown hubcaps, whitewalls, venetians etc etc. i know its been done to death but i've always wanted one like it. HI all so ive been on here for a while religiously watching peoples progress on there ke projects.and finnaly decidded to add mine its a ke11 it had a 5k 5peed otherwise pretty standed unfortunately just before Christmas the diff blew so as i was replacing diff i decided to lower it as well. even more unfortunate i had major issues with the diff being a different drive shaft bolt pattern and so it sat in my garage for a while and to add to my bad luck my house went under in the floods taking the car with it. water receding after floods leaving it wet and muddy after i stripped the interior and water blasted it very strange feeling. so at this point …

Hey doods, After the death of my last KE55 sedan at a khanacross i was in search for another one. In a little country towm outside of canberra i found this: Its a 1979 KE55 sedan and its awesome! Another granny car but an apprentice mechanic was doing a headgasket and snapped a headbolt and they ceased opperations. So after weeks of me going to for a drive again and again i finally got them to sell it :) So the plan is to put my motor in it and make it very nice.. Teaser pics.. No cracks here
