My stock 7k just have a K50 behind it. ...but yeah I don't trust that. Thats why I have a K-W50 sitting there ready for my next project. :D

I think your best bet is to pull out a tape measure and check your PCD. :D "Borg warner diff" doesn't tell us a lot. If the RA struts as unmodified then they would have 4x114.3 PCD. Stock KE20 PCD is 4x110, so if you discover it is still stock I suggest going shopping on Ausrotary. :D What motor is in it BTW?

I think a T2 would be too small for even a 3k. T25 would be about perfect, if its a T25G then you might even feel a bit restricted in the top end. The 170kw 3k I mentioned above made around 140rwkw on PULP and 19psi. Was a Draw through setup too.

How Much To Sell A Reco'd 4 Speed And Trimatic?
Taz_Rx replied to Evan G's topic in Automotive Discussion
Agree with Styler. :D The going rate for a K40 is about $50 for a good one. Yes maybe a reco'd one would be worth say $200, but no-one is going to pay that for a K40 when they can have an "as is, where is" K50 for $100 or so. Auto is basically a give away box. :D -
Have you got the turbo fitted? Here's some motivation for you....

Had this phone for over a year and just realised the other night that I can make Gif's on it..... Anybody know why it won't keep looping through the pics? It only goes through the 4x once.

Carter's have one of the best anti-vabration mounting brackets you can get wuith an after market pump so you won't need to worry about rubber grommets etc - They're built into the bracket. You're biggest problem is going to be big fittings on the pump and little fuel hoses. Go see somebody like hydraquip/Enzed and get some appropiate sized fittings.

When was the last time it had a wheel balance and alignment? Tyres can go out of balance quite a bit as they wear.

You will still need some sort of pickup to the ECU to tell it when a cylinder is firing, so it can pulse the injectors. Need at least either a coil negative trigger or single pulse trigger depending on the ECU. To run sequential injection and/or multi coils then ECU needs to know WHICH cylinder is firing (number 1 and you enter the firing order) through a dual pulse trigger - being either a crank or camshaft sensor. I had a bit of a google for this yesterday searching for "Busted Knuckle Garage" which is a place that makes auto related signs. Couldn't find anything on their site about EFI, so thinking maybe they just make some bolt on covers for this. :D

Yeah little under fueled - Mine are 315cc..... and I have 4x of them. Would probably be a bit on the lean side on a fully worked 5k. Be good on a mildly worked 4k though. You'd just run it as "banked injectors" not sequential. What this setup REALLY needs is a twin!!!! 2x of these would be nuts on a fully worked 5k - Injectors would then be spot on and you could run sequential injection. And because the manifold is just a sidedraft weber one you just need a twin mani instead of the single. :)

PM replied. :) Have a look here.... http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=10940&st=255 They're Konig Rewind 14x7 -9. So they sit out even further than the +4 will. Not the easiest to see with the flairs on but these are pretty flush with the guards.

3k, 4k, 5k and 7kc all have the same sized exhaust ports so its not really going to make any difference. 7ke however does have bigger inlet and exhaust ports so you wouldn't want to use 3/4/5k extractors.

I had a little dabble under $200. Might come back for another bid later. :) Who else is bidding on it? Guess you are Oni if you didn't want to link it?

Whats the point!? Both have stock K engine mounts.

Got the rest of your fuel system setup and working? If so bolt the fuel rail on, power the pumps and check for leaks. They do sound a bit too loose though. For $5 worth of O-rings I would probably just replace them though. :)

5k Troubles/questions/dished Pistons... Water In Oil
Taz_Rx replied to Tally's topic in KExx Corolla Discussion
I think this is a bad suggestion. :) Oil is in the engine to lubricate it, and its not going to do a very good job of it while its mixed with water is it!? Hence my suggestion would be TO DO an oil change, get as much moisture out as you can (to improve the oils lubrication) and then take it for a drive to evaporate the rest. :) -
Nice work getting the RC calendar in the back-ground! :y:

Though maybe it was time for an update. Biggest news now is Byron is now at the Launceston General Hospital :y: , He was transfer from Hobart last Friday. Had his first proper bath last night (in a bath, not a bowl! :lolcry:) and loved it. Bit of a shock when his bum first hit the water but then he realised it wasn't so bad and started splashing around. All clean. This is just a regular sized Mount franklin bottle..... And I also styled him his first mow-hawk last night..... He's now over 2kg (just) and getting moved up to 4 hourly feeds today, so 2x bigger steps to coming home. :lolcry:

^what he said. The other side of it will have a slit through it to remove it.

Nick hasn't had this car for over a year. Got sold to Dan (falken) last year, he worked on it for a little while then tripped and sold it. Not sure where it is now.

Dyno figures!????? Or is it still there, not touched yet in true Brad style!? :P

Is there something wrong with my eye Nick or is that an Excel!!!!!? Dedicated drag car? :P

5k Troubles/questions/dished Pistons... Water In Oil
Taz_Rx replied to Tally's topic in KExx Corolla Discussion
Only time I've ever got one was in a timing case gasket set. Bursons etc don't have a listing for them. I just make my own out of gasket paper anyway - $4 for the whole roll. :P
