    You can get the booster and steering box rebuilt. If they are too far gone, you may need to find a used replacement then get THAT rebuilt. Steering box rebuild is awesome.

    Yep and on my engine the previous owner decided the alloy section was to heavy and removed it by the methods suggested.

    I'm starting the think all of these problems you are having might be related to that attitude shown just now. Most of the things you said the engineer has a problem with have been engineered on plenty of other cars. Oh and curly is a pretty smart dude and knows his rollas but i guess you don't need his help and you have it all under control.

    Check the rear demister fuse. Actually just replace it

    You will need to keep it NSW rego, pretty easy to do if your in ACT

    I was gunna say depending on removal method, just put the nuts on a little bit to stop yourself going flying along with the wheel

    Most auto shops should be able to get it in for you, if not toyota is best.

    open tseries diff. 150kw atw drag racing. snapped an axel and wrecked the inside of the pumpkin.

    Wow, I'm shocked. I was following this build and its sad to see mr phil not being able to finish this himself. I respect you and those who will help finish the build off. I would want to same thing if anything happened to me. I wish you and those that loved phil for the strength needed to handle this and to carry on.

    Does the gearbox have any crossmember mounting points or it mounted off the side of the box?
