Went to see a friend who lives about 100kays out of Darwin. He tells me as I'm leaving to "turn left" it's a quicker way to the highway. My mate is a reliable sole, I have no reason to doubt him. So, I turn left. 3 kays into out 9kay short cut I encounter this, Then, something a little more challenging and DEEPER!. Then somthing that tries to remove my exhaust. (It looked and sounded much worse) And just for good measure, another water crossing. This one was particular fun. It was mud and sand around the shallow edges and the only place that had traction was somewhere around the deepest part, the middle. When you can see a bow wave at the f…

DRILL PRESS: A tall upright machine useful for suddenly snatching flat metal bar stock out of your hands so that it smacks you in the chest and flings your beer across the room, denting the freshly-painted vertical stabilser which you had carefully set in the corner where nothing could get to it. WIRE WHEEL: Cleans paint off bolts and then throws them somewhere under the workbench with the speed of light. Also removes fingerprints and hard-earned calluses from fingers in about the time it takes you to say, "Oh shit..." ELECTRIC HAND DRILL: Normally used for spinning pop rivets in their holes until you die of old age. SKILL SAW: A portable cutting tool used to …

Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives... You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore, rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side, here in this country of ours. You, the mothers, who sent their sons from far away countries... Wipe away your tears. Your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land, they have become our sons as well. M. KEMAL ATATURK, 1934 (The founder of Turkish Republic) FOR THE FALLEN: THE ODE They went with songs to the Battle They were young, Straight of limb, True of ey…

Hey guys been playing around with a logo of mine, I can't get it to look quite right. Any suggestions? Am I trying to squeeze too much in? This is the most simple version, I will make a more 'styled' version once I've decided the final benchmark.

On thursday night I pulled out of a carpark near Dandenong Road & Springvale road. Behind me comes a Kia Rio. Yeah my car is nanna spec and I wasn't going fast, but my rio friend flashed the lights and abuse! Naturally I reacted in the Bamboo way. I jammed on the brakes and more heat. He thought he'd be tuff and chase me down. I started the chase around the estate! He got in front of me and tried to predict my turns. Fail. He then spent 20+ minutes in pursuit around the estate! He wasn't going to give up! But, he couldn't drive for toffee! I kept rallying around I stripped my club lock ready for confrontation. Not required.…

Hey guys, so on Monday my partner and I took a deposit for our car, with the agreement that he would get the car today with cash. Now he seems to be going sideways and I'm not sure if he will be buying the car. We just signed a loan for our new car so if he says he don't want it no more we are in a shat. He is the father of a friend so we thought it was all going to be sweet. Any ideas?

walking back to the car from the plaza. jump inside the car. look up and there a guy with a big bag looking under the tarp of a ute. looked a little sus. he walked off pulled his keys out and pretended to central lock the ute. no lights/horn when off. thats when i knew something was going on. drove off and pulled into a car spot in-front of the plaza and bolted in looking for a security guard. found one told him the situation and he followed me out to find him. soon as we walked out the doors there he was looking under another tarp of a builders ute looking for tools etc etc. he called for back up as i was walking to the car. HOPE THAT SCUM BAG GOT f@$kING CAUGHT! pin…

Guys, Enough is enough. I am sick and tired of reading and hearing about this. All of it. I like the both of you as good people. I hear both of you and can see bits of both worlds. I think its fair enough to say - Enough IS enough. I am Closing this thread and deleting all of its contents. There will be NO further discussion. If you guys need to sort your stuff out - Sort it out between YOURSELVES, not on here, Not on Rollaclub, not now, not ever - in the publics eye, that is. We don't need to be reading this. Please, before we all have a stroke, just put it to the grave. i will miss you around here man. But, its your call. Yes, i know yo…

http://smh.drive.com.au/motor-news/55000-aston-martin-heading-to-australia-20110303-1bfgd.html I have officially lost all respect for Aston Martin. Each is equipped with leather seats, 16-inch alloy wheels and a five-piece luggage set custom-made for the Cygnet that includes a glovebox satchel and removable doorpocket. So that's where the extra 40 grand went. I'd rather spend 55k on this http://news.toyota.com.au/toyota-unveils-iq-racing-concept and probably get change.

Since 7pm there has been a new Toyota Camry Hybrid idling away in the car park. We don't know who owns it. It is currently 0130am and it's still going. Head lights and driving lights on, A/C on. I checked the car out, it is locked. There is a message on the dash display that say's "key not detected", so I guess it has a proximity key. Why it's still going without the key around is bizzare. I have also called the rental car company who owns it. They said they would send someone around to look at it. Waiting, waiting. So we're taking bets on how long we think it will last. I'm guessing it will run out of fuel first (full tank), but the pistons and bores will be ni…

As a Kiwi I'm heavily anticipating this season, with the new format and the world cup. Any other supporters out there? I can't wait for Friday, my home team The Hurricanes first up against the Chiefs, then we get to see the new boys The Rebels against the ' Tahs. Should be an amazing year of Rugby. Go the All Blacks :P

Hey guys, I am getting over people pulling out in front of me forcing me to slow down. I have been tempted not to brake and just hit them in the ass. Would I be to blame because I hit them form behind or would they be to blame for entering my lane and in a way cutting me off?
