Buen día Tengo un TE72, tengo el interrogante de como se comporta la luz indicadora (cinturones de sujeción) según con el diseño original En mi auto pongo el motor en marcha, la luz se enciende pero pasado unos pocos segundos esta vez se apaga sin importar si los cinturones están o no abrochados Y no sé, si esta luz debería apagarse hasta que los cinturones se abrochen. ¿Podrían ayudarme a despejar la interrogante?

Hey guys so I had a problem with me KE70, it was leaking fuel from the bottom of the mechanical fuel pump, thought the pump was at its final days, ordered a brand new GOSS Mechanical Fuel Pump, installed it on the 4K, same issue occurring fuel leaking from the same spot. Just wondering if people have had the same or similar issue and things you did to fix it, I thought it might be one of either these things, uneven insulator, did not scrape the old gasket off enough(I pretty much scraped it back to bare metal), just shitty aftermarket gaskets(they were plasticy ), the engine block is no longer flat, or just need to use permatex sealant. I have recently acquired an 82 ke70 cs that is in as near to new condition as you could find. I was after a much older coupe or wagon project and came by this, not being able to resist due to its condition i now have buyers remorse as it isnt what i really wanted. So i was after some opinions as to what it may be worth thinking i might sell it to persue my original ideas. The car is a white 1 owner 64000km always garaged, the blue interior is basically unmarked including the carpet apart from a small tear on the drivers seat around the shoulder area. Hello there I'm the owner of a ke70 and i'm planning to do the 4age conversion alongside upgrades to the suspension (coilovers, ae86 suspension all round, ae86 brakes, etc) Now i need some advice on whether or not do the engine conversion first and then the suspension or vice versa? The suspension i can do no my own but the engine conversion i cannot. So what do you guys recommend doing first? Thanks in advance

Hi Guys n Gals Just got my L's 5 months ago and i decided to buy a ke70 wagon, came with a ca18det witch i can't but in while on my p's because i think it out puts 280kw or something the guy said (probs pulling my leg) But I;m going to take that out and put a p plate legal engine in. I'm not sure what engine I'm aloud to put in it if i can put a 4age or do i have to stay with the factory engine it came with witch was a 4k-c I see that NSW p plate laws have that i can't drive Power to tare mass ratios of greater than 130kW per tonne or, Modified engines that need to be approved by an engineer or, Other vehicles classified…

Gday, Ive just joined up after buying a one owner brown Ke70 sedan off an old lady, true story! She wanted the thing gone as she can no longer drive and I felt sorry for her and kind of like the car. Its an 85 i think, brown, auto probably a 4k motor. Its has surprisingly tidy for its age with 2 small spots of rust and is completely original down to the receipt in the glovebox from when she bought it new! Plans at this stage are to throw a set of old style rims on it,( maybe jellybeans, hotwires or minilites) possibly a manual conversion and either warm up the engine or convert to a larger one. Hi Guys, just joined the club and wanted to say hi, not new to Corolla's but it's been a long time - bought a Ke20 brand new back in 1973 (yeah I am that old in body not mind) and raced it for the next few years until I totalled it. Hi guys I have a ducktail spoiler and splitter to fit my ke70. They came with the car when i bought it. Ive had them for about 10 years. Would anyone know what price I could get for them as I can't seem to find a price anywhere. My rear main seal went in my ke35 coupe for the first time since ive owned it, plan on replacing it asap as of course my daily has died as well just wondering what it would be worth replacing at the same time to avoid future maintainance? Clutch etc? Cheers in advance

Hi All As a proud new KE70 owner I have some work to do ready for an MOT (Fresh Import) - It came from Thailiand and has some yellow film on the front window which is an MOT failure in the UK, any suggestions for removing it it sems to peel of - in small pieces

I'm selling my Toyota Corolla Ke70. It is a rolling shell as the motor does start but there is a bad rattle when it's running and the car doesn't really drive without cutting out. Not sure what brand the rims are but they look pretty good.

hey i want to buy a 1984 corolla "panelvan". its tidy as hell and just want to know if its worth getting :/ its got 200,000 ks 1.6l motor??? ( 5k or sumthin)???? the wheels, hopefully get black superlites with it ;) and some stereo gear which is kinda much ofmuchness. aaaaaaaaaand obviously has the appeal of being a "shaggin" wagon sooooo its $3,500 worth the coin or not??? Finally was able to mock up my Weber After installing Weber and trying to use the universal linkage was not the best for the barrel type accelerator cable so had to call up Recarb and get there throttle linkage they do for the 4K engine safe to say its working, cranked the car for a second heard how loud the headers alone were chose not to start and idle the car as it was late so will try this afternoon.

Hey so I've recently brought a 1982 ke70, with a 4k in it still. I also brought a set of extractors off ebay. I went to install them only to find that on the intake manifold, there is a little tube that's goes to some sort of filter (I'm assuming that's what it is, laugh if you will) and then continues into The exhaust manifold, so if I install the extractors it doesn't have the little port to connect anymore (unless I make one, which I do not want to do) so can you tell me, do I need this thing? Hey guys, New member and new to Toyotas. My background is old Ford Escorts and modern VWs and Skodas but want to try something different so looking at getting a KE70 . I'm keen to do a conversion but unsure which way to go, 4age 20V or 3sge beams? From what I've read on your immensely helpful threads the 20V seems like an easier conversion? That extra power from the beams would be nice though. Is the extra power from the beams worth the extra effort or would some cams and head work on a 20V be not far off the beams? Thinking of doing hillclimbs so running in the 1600 class as opposed to the 2000 class would also be advantageous. Also, does anyone on the forum do or know o…

hi looking at putting some new wheels on my car been looking at some on rota (taged a pic) what i want to know is if i get some of thees wheels at 15 by 7 on the front and 15 by 8 on the rear with a 0 offset on both and a 50 sires Tyre with the side wall with some stretch under the car plus I'm happy to lip the grads but i do want them to be under the grad at the end of the day i am also going to lower it a bit but i want to get the wheels on the car first so that i know how far i want to drop it thanks
