Hey all, havn't really posted before but never had a reason to until now. Been looking for a classic example for about 8 months, so it wasn't luck, just about time. My dad found it on carsales 5 mins after he put the add up, so i had to snap it up. Its an 80 model ke55 all original (except for stereo), couldn't find any rust on the entire shell. Running gear in perfect condition, the only problem i can think of is faulty clusters, ie speed guage is zero'd at 20km/h

Sadly more than likely will be a parts car. Does it need its own thread? No, but I'm making one because its an RA28 and I love them! Currently runs an 18RG (why I brought it) BEFORE anyone says it the bonnet was painted black before drifting was invented. Back in its day it was a hill climb car so the bonnet was painted black.

Hey all, I'm new to rolla club and thought ide post up my toyota publica... bought it from a guy in robina for pretty cheap with reg as he was leaving the country to live in nz or something.... anyways.. 3k engine with 130XXX k's ke10 front end conversion still drum brakes all round ( suprisingly good) bolt on spacers converted to 4x100 I'm pretty sure as it has fwd offset 15 inch lenso's on it resprayed monza red (originally white) not many plans for it as of yet... probably lower it a tad and some fender mirrors... finally decided to pull my finger out and get started on the daily ke70. my meantime plans for the ksev. 1. remove boot well (spare tire well) and have it all flat. 2. respray inside the boot. 3. install an alarm and central locking system. 4. install sound system 5. remove carpet (cause its F#@ked) and maybe remove the sound deadening and replace it with stone guard. 6. sand and bog ALL dings and prep body work. 7. prime all bog patches and prepare the whole body for primer, ill probably use acrylic body filler. 8. hopefully along the way through this grueling process can afford quad light conversion ch…

Hi Everyone, Here is a bit of an introduction to my new wagon. It's a 82 KE70, which I've had for about 4 or 5 months and have cherished the shoit out of it (except for that damn clutch cable!). It has 330,000km on it and it still drives fantastic. Everything on it is standard, which I like, since I have a blank canvas to build my own daily to how I'd like it. The previous owner said that it had been resprayed some time in it's history, which looks to be true as the paint (however a little sensitive to scratching) is very presentable. I recently bought a 82 ksev thats not running for a project! Hoping to one day soon take it to the track and drift professionally. I'm only young and have only a little bit of mechanic experience but i'm hoping to learn from experience. Hey, picked this little beauty up earlier in the week. It's a yellow, 1980, ke55 cs coupe, auto. Not too bad condition. Has some rust spots and dents. Interior is quite good apart from dash top, most things work. The heater works! The 4k runs well and goes alright considering it's auto. Plans are to clean it up, put it on historic rego and then later I will think about a manual conversion and other mods. But for now I'm just cruising around in it and doing a few repairs. I have got some touch up paint already and have done a few little repairs. Hey all, Figured I'd start a topic on RC about my schools personal project for year 10. My father, brother and I are currently commencing the conversion of our 4k, ke20 2-door corolla, A.k.a, RKE 020, from a 40mm delorto carb to EFI. When it started life it was a bamboo coloured 3k 2-door ke20 with a 2 speed auto box.A 4k was then put in it and also a 5 speed manual box keeping the existing diff gearing. The 4k was by no means stock, we built it with a lumpy camshaft with 109 degrees lobe separation. Recently bought a ke70 with a 4age conversion half done Bigport 16v 4age, needs some wireing sorted out, Some tailshaft modification and a new G/box crossmember made up, Fully Grany-spec, Gonna be receiving some assistance from T18drifts as he has alot of experience in rust removal.

So this is my new 1982 KE70. 4k 4spd manual 16' xxr's Rolled guards Flute pipes Plans for it are to clean up the interior, to a nice black style. Then work on a few little things and just maintain it for a while.

Hey, my name is Adrian, I'm a mechanic from Melton and I like KE70's lol. At the moment it's a stock 4k with a straight through exhaust to massive chrome cannon LOL, it's also a 5 speed. I've procured a 1JZ and I'm sourcing a gt35 to start off with and we'll see where I go from there. (I don't want to use the twins setup.) Also got a bunch of S13 suspension bits to go in the front of it. I'll be hunting around 300rwkw's and a reasonably stock looking car, wheels and ride height are all I want to change. So I've decided to start a new build thread for an AE71 Spirit I picked up for a measly $800. It was a fair travel to Taradale, 50kms South of Bendigo, thanks to Evan G for giving me a hand picking it up. She is red in colour, exterior is in alright condition has some rust in the usual places, righthand rear arch, and the boot. The paint could do with a cut and polish some minor paint damage on the front left gaurd, rust is starting to develop. Planning to just sand it back and give it a touch up so it's barely noticeable.
