Hey guys, this is my rolla TE72 / T-18 I was given this car. Took me a while to realize it had potential. This is how it was when i got it: Then we chopped the springs, painted the stock rims black and found some wheel trims, haha: Whacked some jelly beans on it, And now brings me to this stage. hey guys just aquired myelf an ae71 panelvan for 1000 bucks. ive seen it at my mates workshop for awhile but didnt bother to ask if he was selling her. finally asked and he sold it too me today, so i was like :bash: . shes basically got no rust except for a couple 20c pieces in the door and around the tailgate seal. needs a new radiator and battery for roady but the rest is all good. its missing a few interior bit but f#ck all, and need new carpet throughout. Had plans for doing up my ae71 but crashed it so needed a replacement.. :) so now i have an 81 ke70 in fair condition.. not an issue though. started stripping it down and yeah theres what i would call some rust, (others may say alot :P ) well progress so far started stripping the interior apart, and sanding back all the bog and paint for prep. this is how it looked when i picked it up. plans finish off stripping interior. get exterior all fixed and primed. repair/replace rim/s remove engine, g/box entire driveline. weld in chassie supports. Hey guys, I've been thinking for a while now that i should create a ride thread for my car so here it is! a few of you may already know the car and have seen it around. Ive had the car for over a year a now and its turned out to be a very reliable daily. Its still relativly standard still running the 5speed and 4ac. Has XT130 LCAs and reset leaves lowered 3 inches overall. Thankfully the wagon is no longer my daily, managed to pick up a running SV11 camry for FREE! Gday, bought this car a bit under a year ago and have been slowly working on it. Its a 1975 ke36. Its a fair heap but I love it, so far I have fixed the indicators, breaks somewhat, horn, removed heaps of surface rust from the engine bay, replaced the clutch, put 2" lowering blocks in the back and flipped the leafs. It also has 14x7 (0 offset) Globelines. I have some 4.5kg ###### springs for the front as well but they aren't in yet so it is still sitting way too high at the front. I plan to tidy the body up, replace front quarters and eventually respray it. Interior also needs some work. Overall car runs heaps well, brakes and handbrake are a bit iffy and still n…

i have finally acquired a car to work on. shes no beauty, but whats a project if it doesnt need a little work? plans are to do an engine conversion, convert to 5spd, respray and dress up and re-do the interior. it might take me a while to do but i love to tinker and i can't wait. i will probably start in the new year, once the christmas debts have cleared and the money starts to accrue again. i havent chosen a motor yet, I'm still deciding. had a few thoughts on colours (thinkin maybe a deep metallic red (not to burgundy though) probably off a current model new car). anyway, would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. cheers! kate

I've just copied and pasted my ride from TOCAU below as then it's easier to update later for those interested :yes: Well I picked this Corolla up with 85,860Ks on the clock for 11k. Cleanest interior and seats that have hardly been sat on (minus driver's seat LOL)! I chose the sedan because it is different and handles better than the liftback in my opinion. Our Story. A couple of week back I purchased this T18 for a few hundred dollars. Pulled her from a shed where she has been hibernating for the past 2-3 years. Gave her some fuel, fitted a battery and away she went first crank(electric fuel pumps are handy) into gear and off she went with no hassles. As the photo atest she is no "Belle of the Ball". I am hoping to pull off a "Cinderella" type deal. As you can see she is a granny spec T18, L3TC/T50. On completion it will esentially still be granny spec as this car is for my kids not me. here is my silly car it isnt much but it gets me from a - z and back to a again it currently sports different wheels to the photo, webber downdraft, full exhaust(genie extractors straight through exhaust into a resinator in the middle and high flow cannon with a 45 degree tip on the back, here is a picture of it not much, it has dents in the front guards 15inch TRX Bluebird wheels on the front, 14inch globe bathursts on the back, plans are to jam a ca18det into it and then forged nearly everything and bolt a turbo onto it :wink:

So after my Skyline getting defected and it's slow transformation into something I'd want to drive ended. I decided I needed some new wheels. So, I went to look at a few BA's around the 8k mark and they were all pigs and the AU is butt ugly. I've always had a soft spot for the EF/EL's especially the XR. And when this came up at a caryard just down the road I almost creamed my pants. It's a EF Fairmont kitted up like a XR with all the XR goodies. Hey all probably about time i posted up some of my rides. Ill start with the KE20. I started the project basically because i built a 4AGE KE55 as a daily, but then i changed jobs and now I'm not allowed to drive it to work. (don't ask.) Therefore i needed another daily. I already had a shed full of KE spare bits but had never had a KE20 before, so made that my aim. Shes a 1971 Aussie manufactured Automatic model. DAY ONE Bought it as a shell off Ebay for a few hundred bucks. Actually was in a lot better condition than i expected. But had been sitting in the weather for years. well as things have finally worked themselves out, i'll be taking hold of a 5K in the next few week, i just need to pick it up. :D the 3K in my 20 has nothing wrong with it, but i feel she needs some more oomph. the obvious choice would be putting the 5K into the 20, but $-wise it isn't so great. so after some very quick thinking i will be putting the 5K into my 55, along with a k50 box i just pulled out from the parts car. now i'll be left with a mechanically sound 4K and 4spd box, and it'd be a waste to see it sitting in the shed for any lengths of time, so i will be putting it into my 20. the only thing i can think of not fitting are the gear-stick hole, a…

bought this around october 2008, from Japanese Performance Imports in Wingfield, it came with rosejointed castor arms, T series LSD a pair of SW20 MR2 Buckets, and some positive offset 14inch longchamps. Wasn't too happy with the pressure pack can panda paint job and rounded out rear quarters due to dodgy repairs so within the week a deal had been made with John and Simon from Phoenix Paint and Panel to fix up the dents and straighten out the panels. Before long the project had escalated into a full respray. KE20, in Bamboo no less :) No engine or box (yet) Locked diff (soon to be removed) Slightly butchered engine mounts and tranny tunnel (replace/repair) 12's with hubcaps! <-- Keeping as is Seats are a little rough Fairly clean body, minimal rust, great base. Idea is to clean it up, bolt it together nice and neat, rego it then daily it as soon as the hatchback is gone. Pics!

1984 ke70 I'm the 3rd owner; it's been serviced regularly and only done 230, 000 k's In good condition, runs well, minimal rust on rear wheel arches It appears to be missing a left side mirror...... hrrmm Plan on keeping it stock and just cleaning it up and using it as my daily as it's my first beast. :S
