Thought id give a little in site in to why Ive got a KE35. my 1st car was a very nice KE35 coupe moss green only a bit of rust was in the rear boot (wheel arch) as it was my 1st car i loved it so much. heres a pic of it and my wife about 7-8 years ago.. ended up a wright off (not my folt) ever since been looking for one good or bad, then along came this one from Newcastle.. KE35 coupe silver metalick (needs clear cote) things that i need to do.. Ive got to cut the rust out of the bonnet or get a new one (no luck so far). then see if i can fix the problem of the bonnet not laching over. then see if i can find any other problems…

I like to consider myself a ke10 through ke18 type of guy (hence the username), but I am a Corolla Freak like the rest of you so this could not be missed Picked up this beauty just last week. Purchased 9th or October 1974 by (now 85 year old) Davinne from Cambridge Motors, Hawthorn. She was the Only owner... Until now. This is the closest thing I'll even own to 'overrated'. Hey all started a project and thought you guys might like some pics and info. Well I have a Corolla GTI that was made in 1992 came standard with the smallport 4age and a few other goodies. I brought it with the conversion already done :) Currently it has had as followed: AFM 4agze conversion stiffer and lower suspention Exhaust from manifold back changed Dash replaced Set of mags and lower profile tyres

it went in had all dints taken out and roof dints brand new bonnet and respray its original colour HOW GOOD DOES SHE LOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Picked this up as some of you may know!! Plans. - Bare Metal Respray - Interior rework - New bushes - A few Nos bits - 5k with Twin carbies (Someone got a twin carb manifold)? - 5spd - Whitewalls and hubcaps. Any info/help much appreciated. Thanks in Advance Luke

So.. Ive decided that along with the casual street work I usually do, I'm just not satisfied. So I made a decision that will change my whole appearance. I'm going to do drag! It all started last week with a suggestion from a mate at work who has been regularly out on wednesday night and convinced me its something I should add to my repetoire. So, The story goes along the lines of this. One day, a little old woman decided to get her usual 6 monthly service on her car. The added note on the repair order was that it would idol a little rough at the lights. Considering the car would travel 1 return trip a week from home to the golf course on a thursday mid-morning, every week since 91, she must have been pretty switched on to pickup on it! Last year 2 days before my birthday I had to swerve a tourist and smashed up my beloved Sigma, so I needed to hunt for a new car and Murd pointed me towards KJ. Bought this car from him a couple months later: 4K motor. 3K Carby Already changed to 4K 5 Speed Trans. 2 1/2 " Hotdog Exhaust El Stocko. So far my plans running wise are to either: Put in a reconned 4K with Twin Webers and Lukey Exhaust system. Or. Simply save up the money for all suspension, brakes, transmission etc for a 20v 4AGE. hello ladies and gent. i recently decided that a ca18 ke70 panel van project was just to big for my first project. instead i bought the ke70 off my girlfriend. the big ends are stuffed so with the help of nathan the guch mechanic I'm gonna fully rebuild and work the 4k. its a sexy biege 82 sedan, its about 80% rust free, with only two little cracks in the dash, and the bonnet and left fender have tiny little dents in them, so its prity much in awesome condition. I'm gona b doin a detalied pik blog type thing on here. i just wanna see if i can do it. anyway. heres some pics when i got it.... oh yeah thats some sexy shit. mmmmm mismatch rims.

So I sold my AE71 last night and had already placed a deposit on my new addition, a little yellow KE11. The KE11 will be used as a cruiser/daily through this Summer whilst I look patiently for another daily. I didn’t want to rush out and buy a crap daily that I would regret buying so this thing should tide me over for a bit. The KE still has the 3K which appears to be in really good condition, and overall this car is a very tidy unit. The KE will then be hidden away for a while during the colder months and brought out again late next year when the weather is good again. Found this 85 Corona at the same auction room where i found that SA63 Celica. This one owner Corona has only done 93,000kms has cold air con and power steering and this is how i bought it, hasn't even been washed yet!. Paint and trim are excellent, no rust and drives great. Will most likely move it on but not after i take it to the Al Palmer show next month.

G'day everyone, I not so long ago bought a Ke18 2 door windowless panelvan from a member on here, so I thought I'd start a small project thread. :bash: So far I have swapped the silver wheels for a set black ones from a mazda 626 which I had on a ke20 parts car in the backyard * Replaced the pitman arm with a new one which I managed to get from Pabs. * Pulled out the original NOISY banjo diff and put in a complete borgwarner diff out of a ke11 parts car which I also have. When I took the car, it was like this: The messy engine bay, powered by the 4AGTE 20valve. Silvertop. A few weeks later: 1 inch spacer for front rims and Advan Oni at the back. Tested the car at a track already. Car's response is good. Handling is awesome too. New stuffs that had arrived: Fender mirror. Full face helmet. Exterior wise will be all brand new. Since I've been a member here for few weeks now without a corolla, I have finally decided to buy one, so I'm a corolla guy once more. I just recently bought a 1976 SR5 TE37 ^_^ for $1000USD for me to have as a dialy commuter because I want to be driving with style hahaha. The smog pollution exemption here in california is only up to 1975 only, this really sucks but I think I can live with having a smog check every year. As of right now, the car runs with its stock 2TC motor and a 5 speed manual transmission. The main body is white color and clean with the exception of bad hood and a right fender. Hi There Folks, My name's Darren from Sheidow Park south of Adelaide. I've just bought this '64 Tiara dubbed Ratiara due to it's slightly less than perfect appearance. She runs really well, interior is very good apart from the top of the back seat which has suffered from 40+ years of sun. Body appears to be super sound with no rust to be seen although the paint has a nice level of character to it. Down sides are the shagged suspension, holey exhaust, lack of brakes, a poorly repaired steering wheel and the stupid amounts of silver frost paint sprayed all over the place! SOLD! Recently purchased a 1984 MK II Toyota Celica Supra. It has a little bit of damage, thanks to a friend reversing into it: Plans: Respray + Restore Engine Conversion Lower Re-trim interior Just pour 80-90% of my earnings into it while I live at home basically. Ive always wanted an ae86 and after crashing my 71 I decided to buy a shell and chuck all my gear into it. So last week I picked up a non rolling shell (which is actually not hard to transport). It has a bit of rust and is only half painted. lol. But i plan on cutting out the rust whilst it in in shell form so I wont have to do it again. Anyway here's some info and plans! G'day everyone, This is my new project. It's a 78 ke36 panel van. It's got a 3tgte under the hood, a celica 5 speed, and a spooled 9" diff in the rear. So far i have replaced the front suspension with KYB shocks and KING springs. I am replacing the front guards, bonnet and grille with new taiwanese items (unless anyone has any good secondhand stuff for sale ;) ). I'm also taking out the spool and converting back to LSD for street use and so I can get the thing registered. It will be wearing a fresh coat of bright red paint soon too. I purchased this awesome little car not long ago now. It is a very clean vehicle, it drives really smooth on the road and it is very comfortable. It has a fully rebuilt diff, a well looked after 4K, all rust has been cut out and new plates welded in, and also a full respray, as in door jams, engine bay, boot etc etc. :D Overall I am very happy with the little beast. :yes: Since I have had it I have only put the dress rims on and the eyelids. :wink: I actually, (quite surprisingly) can't bring myself to modify this car as per the norm. Well here's the latest purchase and yes it was the one advertised on this forum. I don't understand why no one else snapped it up ?, original 51,000kms, factory 5 speed and absolutely NO RUST!. Car drives like new even has the original Uniroyal SR78 tyres, drivers seat needs a small repair and there are a couple of small dents which i'm going to have the paintless dent man attend to and after a buff and polish all the original factory paint will come up a treat.

hey I sold my old ke70 because I didn't like the colour so I replaced it with a white one its a 82 ke70 auto, brought it from a guy that just got back from overseas it hadn't been started for 6months (put some fuel in it kicked over first time) and it was living under a tree :hmm: so far I have gave it a bit of a clean still needs a really good clean haven't even got to the interior yet. fixed some rust still got to fix some around the filler cap and the quarter panel.
