A few doors up from where I work is a guy that collects cars for scrap. Everyday when i go pass i check out what he has... on Thursday morning i noticed what looked to be a KE70, so i stopped in, at closer inspection it turned out to be a TE72. Unfortunatley he had stacked another car on top of it and caved a roof a little, pushing the front rail down 3 inches, pulling the side rails in an inch and smashing the windscreen. It has minimal rust, the interia is in good condition and the car is completley unmolested. Hey Hey, I've waited freakin ages for this car to arrive on a truck, About 3 months. It came a long way from Mr Shades but Anyway.... 1984 Ae71 CSX 4AC and an automatic. Has the usual spots of rust that i need to finish off repairing and then a general tidy up, The interior is pretty clean for its age. This is my wifes KE17 that she thought she was going to sell but after i got it out gave it a little clean and had it prepared to be freighted to SA to the new very worthy owner ( sorry Jai ) she changed her mind. Whilst the car was tucked away in the shed the decision to sell was easy but after having it sitting in the carport and going for a drive any chance of it being sold was gone ( for now anyway ). Hard to believe after 10 years in storage just rebuilding the front calipers, a new battery and cleaning out the carbys and we're away again.

Hey all I recently bought a completely stock KE70.. Its a 4sp 1.3L :) My bf and I have decided to have a bit of a play around with it, and now have our hands on a 4agze to pop in. Except, we are going to leave off the supercharger, and put on a turbo..we are trying to get our hands on a T28 from an s15. All going to plan, this will all be done over the next couple of weeks. Also, we are getting a new exhaust put in, a 3" mandrel bent with a 3" dump pipe of the turbo. So my memory was jogged after seeing Teddy's new supra, that i have always wanted to own a MA70/71. I've always loved the shape and the stance of them on the road, plus the fact you don't see many of them anymore. Picked another ke70 panel van up a little while back. Much better than my other one. Specs: 4k. 4 speed. few extra little bits here and there. No rust at all! Windowless! Slowly getting it ready. Got screwed around something chronic when i bought it. its still defected. but i'm getting it off in the next couple weeks. don't have many photos of it. just ones from when i first got it. Well I have not been lurking here for a while, but I acquired a 1971 TE28/KE26 last year. It has a 4AGE swap with a T50 trans. Motor is a redtop 4AGE from a 1st generation MR2 and so is the complete wiring harness and ECU. The T50 trans is from a GTS AE86. The front suspension is also from an AE86 with T3 camber plates and Ground Control coilovers. I'm planning a future R&P swap from a Starlet KP61. The rear is stock and planning to match it to a GTS AE86 LSD complete rear. I'm trying to find a old 74-75 Corolla 10bolt rear, but they are rare as hell. hey peeps as the title states i own a Ae82 Corollla i have spent about 3.5k on it Lowered Sports Suspension (Super low's in the front) but my guards scrape should i pay $550+ to get the guards rolld Full Sports Exaust (Twin Tip) or should i go a Cannon Complete 4.1 Stereo system (6.9" x 4" sub and amp) Full Sports Service (plat plugs + Leads) but i am curious on what i am able to do to my Engine without replacing it.... it is a 1.6 Carbi, and i want more power. what should i do? ill put pictures on my profile after this post

Hey fellas, I just bought my first corolla a few weeks back so i decided to join this website. Its a 1990 seca sx with the 4age red top engine. picked it up cheap and with a little cleaning and servicing... its come up looking pretty clean i think. It loves to rev to 7000 easy and will be thinking of modifying it NA no turbos or anything like that.. Its my daily to work. I've just put a new 2 1/4 full exhaust and superlow king springs. mainly worked on the stereo. I got it as a daily but seeing how small it is and how little it weighs, i'm thinking of a good motor for it for the quarter mile. I,ve got a Buick 3.8 5 speed, or a starfire 4, Aussie 4 speed . i can get either for nothing and would turbo the starfire if that was chosen. Just wondered what you guys reckon? Cheers :)

Picked up a neat 1990 AE92 5 speed Seca CS Spirit for the missus this evening. It is red, stock as with a 4AFC with 230,000 kays on it. It is very nice to drive. She's stoked and already has fallen in love with it. Needs a little few minor touch ups and a good detail. Will get some pics up soon.
