I bought the car from an old lady n it was pretty crap n it had filthy brown interior. Its got: fresh paint flared guards 17'' chromies overrated blue inerior still reppin the 4k with a webber n extractors haha Its just a killer cruiser.

So this is my second AE86. I picked it up as a rolling shell which was in pretty good condition. Recently I bought a bunch of stuff from buddyparts including: Bare JDM 86 halfcut, JDM 86 front brake setup, JDM 86 T series setup with 2way LSD (Probably swapping it for a standard LSD), kouki dash cluster, jdm fueltank. Car is running and was wired up by the boys at buddyparts. Body work starts next year. The first thing we need to do is figure out what to do with the disgusting "dealer" fitted sunroof. This is my KE 15 Sprinter restored in 1999 started with a 5K 5 speed changed to a 7K in 2004 the car has been shown in 5 NRMA Motorfests on Australia day in Sydney the car has been driven to all of these eventa and in order to help with the economy the diff ratio has been changed to a 3.55-1 this resulted in the vehicle running at approx 3000 rpm at 110km per hour. This combination of the 7K and hi ratio diff makes the car a very usable vehicle.

A few weeks ago i made a judgement error and put my car into a gutter pushing the crossmember back and bending the chassis rail where it bolts up. So its time to start over. It's just a standard ADM AE86, bought it off ebay for $1500. It needed the left quarter panel welded back on and other bits and pieces to make it drivable. My dads mate went and picked it up for us cause he had a month of work and wanted something to do (win for us) Ended up getting it November last year and it was on the road late January this year. We had some trouble with the gearbox/engine but finally got it fixed. The 4-AC we had in it went through oil faster then petrol and blew a lot of smoke. SO, this is my younger brothers KE30 he got for dirt cheap, so therefore its in poor condition. Only good thing about it i think, would be the K50 gearbox. Which the previous owner installed I've taken it on as a project for myself, because of my love for cars ;P First things first was getting it running, with only 240,000kms on it i figured this couldnt be too hard (240k isnt much for these engines :yes: ) So, I put a new battery in it, new spark plugs, changed out the black as sin oil and the old oil filter, and gave the carby a good spray with carby cleaner. Hello Peeps, I have recently bought a ke30 stock as a rock and already have a million ideas running through my head. i have tried to utilize the search function but keep having to wait 20 seconds and its getting to me :S if someone could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Atm engine is my last worry as i want the car to brake and handle, so am i able to put in coilovers ? So i recently bought a 1977 corolla deluxe 2 door coupe for 900$ so far i havent got much done to it, besides getting drunking and smashing part of it with a bat. oops! Plans for now: Valve Cover Gasket New spark Plugs New spark Plug Wires Oil and filter change New Carb. New tail Lights/Headlight casings Body restoration. I currently don't have and plans for the engine, but thats because i don't really know what i should do to it! Everyone tells me to get a 4AGE or some other JDM import, but id rather just leave the KE30 in it, so any tips pointers and any other input on performencing the engine, please feel free to drop a line here!

hey all i bought another car and was considering selling my Ke30 but now i'm not sure i could bring myself to do it and was thinking maybe a minor race conversion for the occasional track day (or mountain road) i was thinking 7K-ET to start off with in the power department. then brakes and suspension upgrades of course. any thoughts?

my name is mike, my ke30 was all original, so far ive pulled all the fuel lines removed the tank, pulled the engine and tranny and gutted the interior. original owner cut the springs so I'm pulling em off to swap in originals to give it better lift. with the extra weight of a 4age i may need toupgrade my struts? any thoughts

Basically I sold my pride and joy last year and bought a house(LINK to build-up). Now I've got the bug to build another one. I put up a WTB add on here where redae71 quickly put me in touch with one of his mates who was selling a shell. Got a early KE70 with a silver-top sitting in it for $600(bargain), palmed off the 20V to a mate, now I'm left with a rough but Straight/Rust free shell, perfect canvas to work my magic on. heres my ke10 slap together skid car the car was as is when i bought it all ive done is given it a good thrashing the beast is nothing special as the body is far from overrated n has a fair bit of bog (stuff u can't see in pics on ebay) is camo green with granny visor and a rear venetian that is out of some other car and has been cut down to sort of fit the ke10 drivetrain is a early 4age and a jap 5 speed no work is done to motor that i know of has crappy home made 2 inch exhaust and sports a standard ke10 diff(soon to be welded) rolls on 13 inch hot wires she does go well and leaves all the p plater vn commodore drivers from the lights

hi guys i have a ke70 that i am going to MOD but not sure what i should do to it i don't want to spend heaps of money So far i have extrators and 2 1/4 in exhaust and a webber downdraft on it and its on its guts as you can see from pics i now have a set of twin su's on manifold that i am going to put on it i want to get a cam gring not sure what is best to do??? also should i shave the head and by how much??? i want to change over to electronic ingnition but can't find one if anyone has any sugestions on what to do would be great thank you i will keep updating this as i progress with the car cheers corey

On tuesday I bought myself a gold XX ke70 for under a grand, interior was quite immaculate, but has problems with the engine running too hot, possibly head gasket or head, and some fairly big rust holes down under the boot. Other then that, I was very satisfied, even the dash is almost perfect! one little crack. Plan is to build it up, to an immaculate streeter, with a bit of a JDM feel, chrome bars, quad lights, carby 4age further down the track. I know a thread is useless with out pics, but camera was dead, so this is all I have at the moment. More photos to come of rust damage when my camera is working.

Seen a chick driving a KE30 around for a few months and always wanted to ask her about if she'd ever sell it, but couldn't get into contact with her. Then my girlfriend told me that she knew the girl. So my girlfriend gave me the ke30 chicks number, So i messaged her. Looked at the car the next day and bought the car the day after. Unsure of build date, haven't had much time to look at it yet! Got the ke10, a ke11 and a load of parts on the weekend. It's a rolling shell that came without an engine and gearbox, and, as far as I know, everything else is there. It just needs to be put together.
