This was recently added to our backyard as a bit of a "team project" for a friend who has several Crowns. His wife would probably divorce him if he brought another one home, so my housemate and I have offered to store it here and help do the bodywork/paint until he can sell something and make some space. It's a 1970 model RS56 which originally had the cast iron pushrod 4 cylinder also found in coaster buses! Basic plans are to make this his daily driver, with a 6 cylinder conversion with celica 5 speed, matt black and plenty of Crown chrome with a bit of bling. hey have had my KE55 for about 2 months now its great all original and pretty clean. it has the stock 4K still in it its reliable and good but i need somthing with a little more kick and somthing that will get the wheels to spin :-). I'm tossing between a SR20 DE or a N/A 13 bridgy until i get my full lic then will turbo what ever i decide to put in the car. whats better? whats an easier conversion? and info is apreciated. cheers

We had just sold the pajero and i wanted something to have as a daily driver as my corolla is just receiving far too much police attention with its mods it has. Thought id put my project rolla up. 75 2 Door sedan ke30. Scored cheap rescued from a back yard. Has 5k extractors. I have a ca18det engine complete with loom etc from Adelaide jap, which seems to be taking forever to get to me, currently in quarantine . Plans are Monza red paint fresh suspension, stumpy 5 speed. Also I have a very early hilux diff. Well I have stripped the car out and started with painting one panel at a time. First time painting. This project has swallowed some coin already if I count cost of compressor, hvlp guns paint clear hoses etc plus 1600 for the donk.

hey guys I bought myself a project it is a 1979 Toyota Corona with a 18rc 2lt a GANNY CAR(as my dad calls it :D ), it has a four speed which is the w40 box and what dad can gather it has a 3.9:1 diff ratio, the interior is in excellent condition except for back parcel shelf, tear on top of back seats and driver seat springs ar prob gone but it will be ok :(, the engine bay is a bit bad but with a good wash and a bit of work it will come up good, ok there is alot of rust but it is all fixable rust so ive got a lot of work to do and I'm sure my welding skills will get better :hmm: My aim is to get it on full rego so i can drive it around as daily if not ill club re…

I have had my Ke26 Wagon Stolen yesterday 13/12/10 between 8am and 5pm. Yes I know that it is not the neatest car, but it is my favorite car in the world. The memories that I have with this car go back to my when my daughter was a new born. Both of my kids are devestated, my wife is gutted (both agreed that we would of preferred out 03 ss stolen). Hey guys, thought I'd post my rolla up here for some feedback and to get to now a few members. Well I swapped my r31 skyline for 2 ke70's and a ca18det package. 1 rolla had rego and the other was defected to regency( which the previous owner thought he would tell me it was defected after the trade). The one with rego has a 4k which the previous owner reckons it had a port and polish, 20 though shaven of the head and a few other things. Had the usual spark plug o'ring oil leak and sump leak. I'm acquiring this car for drift/daily use, it looks a bit interesting thanks to the owner before me's outstanding creativeness. Bought this KE16 wagon from Leon Edwards in Melbourne about 5 years ago. The car was in pretty good condition when I got it. The only thing I have done is changed the motor to a 5K, and still running a 2 speed auto.Put the mags on a year ago,the car is entered for Motor Fest in Sydney, Australia day 2011. It's not to bad for the condition it is in, its a simple 4kc 5speed with 122xxx k's on the clock standard motor. Hi guys, my names nick and this is my KE55 sedan. Picked it up a few moths ago from a elderly lady. Engine has no leaks and is very solid, 4 speed is very tight along with the diff. The body has a few spots of rust which I'm reparing now. Plans for it is to repair the rust, re-spray in original colour, lower it, sports exhaust new lights etc, just to make it a tidy cruiser. Only bought it to replace my ss ute from daily duties, spent to much money on it and now it only see's weekend cruises lol. Will keep you posted as it comes together. I was wondering if anyone knows of such thing as flares to suit a ke30. I have been seaching on the internet, but can not find any thing anywhere on them. If there is no such thing, there are other flares such as the datsun 1200. which loook quite good. but I'm not too sure how much modifications are needed to get them to fit my corolla. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. These are pics of the datsun 1200 flares I'm looking at on ebay.

Here's the story My original car is 1977 corolla 4 speed manual Hasn't been on the road for a few years due to a prang The running gear and interior are overrated as well as the front panels. Month's ago I picked up a reasonably straight minimal rust 1980 2door rolla coupe manual ex paddock bomb, no starter motor, drive shaft, radiator and it's never been started since I've got it. My aim is to get the 2 door registered by sticking the running gear from the 77 into the coupe I would like to keep the spend of this build low, and work with what I got. Cheers DZach23
