OK, so I just got this home from Hobart, was my brother's, Mum decided it would be better for it to be used rather than rust away to nothing in their backyard, so she gave it to me...... It's a 1981 G10 Daihatsu Charade, 1.3 liter 3 cylinder 5 speed 4 door hatch, very original, minor rust on passenger door front and rear, sizable dent in rear passenger door due to my brother smacking his fence a short while after buying it, easy enough to fix..... well iam o here doing a ride thread on my VE valiant which back in 08 and was rego'd but due to many bills back then i could not afford to keep the it rego'd and so it came off the road only to fix her back up and get it to pass roady which it did about 2 months ago, But the paint was really faded and so it decided i was into the light blue with the white roof contrast, So i decided it was time to freshen up the paint i repainted the white roof and keep the two tone it had i just changed the blue colour to a darker blue OCEAN blue and looks awsome. Hi guys my name is Andrew this is my project KE55 I have been an avid reader on Rollaclub for about 1 1/2 years and have read about everyone elses rides so i decided to put up my ride I bought it about a month ago and on the drive home it sat at hot for the 2hour drive never went above so when i got it home i ripped the radiator out i just have to get it recoed i need to replace one of the headlights and dye the indicator lenses any way here are some pics of her let me know what you think. hey I'm new here i am new to toyota as i have been mostly working with old alfa Romeo's particularly getting a few ready for events i have owned a ta22 and reluctantly had to let it go now i have a ae95 me and my mate are trying to find out if we can do a full change with a 33 boxer motor he has a turbo one out the back of his place would it be possible and what work would i have to mod the drive train this engine has been tested to be 350 hp plus cheers if i can do this i recon i would have to have a really fast toyota/alfa mongrel.

Haven't post here in a while, but here goes.. Hi guys and girls, just wanna show my latest purchase. 1984 AE71 Wagon, with stock 4ac+5 speed manual. Stock interior except for the CD player on the dash. Stock suspension. Stock everything really :P. I'll let the pics do the talking. Future plans are to replace the cd player with stock am/fm radio on the dash, put a decent audio system, lower it a bit, some sort of old-skool mags, and maybe 4ag conversion later on. Enjoy!

Hey thought i should post my engine conversion. Most of the melbourne guys have seen my car. 5k engine with a weber etc. Well all thats coming out and a 2tg is going in. Day 1 Gearbox off engine to change over clutch New clutch etc. on Day 2 5k comes out 2tg goes in Had one casualty... the speedo cable was forgotten about and when pulling the engine out on the crane it got rather rooted Day 3 to be continued...

Hey guys i picked up this sweet ke55 coupe. Been out of rego for 2 years though :yes: But not much needed to be back on the road. I sold my rotary (in my display pic), as rotary engines just piss me off ;) Its got a 5k with extractors, 2.5 inch piping with dump pipe. Its got some type of sport carby instead of the standard. Does have the factory 5spd. It does start how ever battery is dead! Has the cleanest body i have ever seen in a while for a old car, apart from tiny amount of rust above my rear right tail light. Interior isnt too bad, just need new pair of front seats and new dash pad (already posted add for them). And it is missing the chrome strip above the win…

i cleaned my ke70 up today and is looking pretty good I'm happy with it i fixed a part of the rims up and got back mud flaps i gave it a wash not a polish still turned out ok there are no pics of interior but its all original with no tears it has 97 000 kms on the clock now good little car for a first car any comments ??

hey all. as a few of you know i traded my little subaru sherpa to benzo on here for his red ke70 wagon, i loved the look of it, low top slant face just what i was after. drove the wagz round for a bit noticing it was missing a bit, so i tuned it up went round driving it having some fun etc when i looked at bonnet while driving one day i saw stuff coming from under bonnet and i thought smoke, so i pulled over, turns out it was steam, long story short blew headgasket cracked head and cracked bottom end in the 4k. finally made it to my uncles place where i could keep it till i got the new motor and installed it. next day went and got a fully rebuilt 4k motor jammed it in the…

I love camping and I have alot of camping gear. Sometimes its a pain in the ass to load up the car with tent, gas bottles, lights, gazebo, camp kitchen, stove, BBQ, poles.... Etc. So... I bought myself a brand new 6x4 tradesman trailer. It has the lift top lids with gas lifters. I was going to store all my camping stuff in there and have it ready for whenever i want to go camping. Car is all original I bought it off a old asian lady, its got its minor imperfections but its pretty damb clean for a 29year old car. I bought it with 114k's on the clock its got 126 now, never owned a corolla before iv had geminis, vls n chevs so I'm not sure what to do with it, only thing iv done it put some white walls on it n ill prob put a set of venetions on soon to, any feed back or suggestions welcome...Steve.

My name is Luke and I have an AE71. Here are some pics of how she started in life. She was delivered from Toyota as a stock auto AE71. She has done some 140,000 k’s before the head decided it was enough and blew it’s stack. I have since decided to replace the engine with a 20 Valve 4AGE. It will also be converted to manual at the same time. All parts have been acquired, all that is required now is some more motivation and maybe some spare time on the weekends. Anyway, pics. Ok i have been meening to do this for a wile. So hears the story.... I had first seen the rolla that my mate got from his granny years before and was very jelous. Then we had a job together and I picked up my mate for work everyday and walked past his rolla EVERY DAY. I could not let her just sit there, so i saved enough moola and took it off his hands. Hey all, I recently just got a AE71 Spirit. It has a modplated 4age, t50 gearbox, 2.5inch exhaust (no extractors tho) lowered all round on king springs with a full set of Watanabe's (black 15's with polished lip) The interior is pretty good exept it has no carpet and the drivers seats is a little uncomfortable. also has a sunroof the front end is pretty dodgy (rust & damage) but i plan to replace all guards and lights ect ect. and the rear guards have rust and a lil bit dented. but i plan on getting the rear fixed up. Was thinking bout getting a new shell but i do like the sunroof and is a fair bit of work changing everything over. ill keep everyone posted on…

Hey guys, this is my AE92 corolla. Had it for about a year or just over now. Its a real beast, never had any major mechanical problems with it at all. Stocko engine. Also am keen on lowering it but not sure how i should go about it. any susggestions? coilovers? king springs etc?

gave it a good wash which revealed alot more rust than expecting but it looks nice, well better than it did my brother helped me with the wheels and my mate in the backround helped me wash it

I picked this up from shepparton victoria this morning after buying it off eBay for $610. It drove the 3.5 hours almost flawlessly. Lets see, It appears to have some type of king springs in the front they are yellow and new, new shocks. a 2" sports exhaust, it sounds really really good, except it drones a little at 95km/h. a 5k, unknown mods, goes like a shower of shit compared to any 4k I have ever driven, stock carby, ke70 radiator. Needs a new diff I think, something is grinding in the back end, it I think is a stuck brake shoe, or f*cked bearing, will see when that comes. 1st gear syncro is shot. will crunch if not put back into first very gently. …
