Hey guys, thought I should finally join up here! Had this thing a while, just been daily'ing it around waiting for a 4x4 of interest to come up. Also, moving into a new place with a personal workshop which means I can take the whip off the road and give it some major lovin' The body is pretty clean, but the interior and everything else definitely needs work. The boot is leaking a bit of water, motor is leaking oil from the rocker cover and then some. The whole motor and suspension is a hackjob done by what had to be a blindfolded monkey. G'day everyone, This is my new project. It's a 78 ke36 panel van. It's got a 3tgte under the hood, a celica 5 speed, and a spooled 9" diff in the rear. So far i have replaced the front suspension with KYB shocks and KING springs. I am replacing the front guards, bonnet and grille with new taiwanese items (unless anyone has any good secondhand stuff for sale ;) ). I'm also taking out the spool and converting back to LSD for street use and so I can get the thing registered. It will be wearing a fresh coat of bright red paint soon too. Ok some of you guys might know the car as i bought it from Kiahn.. Hey doods, After the death of my last KE55 sedan at a khanacross i was in search for another one. In a little country towm outside of canberra i found this: Its a 1979 KE55 sedan and its awesome! Another granny car but an apprentice mechanic was doing a headgasket and snapped a headbolt and they ceased opperations. So after weeks of me going to for a drive again and again i finally got them to sell it :) So the plan is to put my motor in it and make it very nice.. Teaser pics.. No cracks here

gday guys, i thought id share some photos of getting my car back from the painters. Ive put some of the braking parts back on and the engine will be going back in this weekend. Ive got a s15 sr20de+t. Commodore brakes and commodore diff with mini spool. Ive changed the fuel lines and changed all of the brake lines. OK well heres it i got this 1977 ke30 sedan about 6 months ago, the roof had been kicked in and some kid had painted the whole car with white spraypaint. hey guys, my names michael and i'm 17. my daily is a RA40 liftback. at first when i bought this car i was really dissapointed :jamie: it conked out every time i stopped, it was gutless, uncomfortable, no power steering and just crap.. i havn't really done much, but so far i put a cortina webber on it, extractors with a 2inch pipe and a high flow muffler (sounds so old school), i got MA61 rims all round with 235s on the back and 215s on the front and took the mud flaps off, MA61 seats and a phat dildo shifter :blinks: dad and i also took all the emission control shit off and the air con came out. now it's comfortable, doesn't conk out, sounds SO good and goes a little…

Hi corolla people. I`m gonna introduce my project. It`s a Corolla Ke26 Wagon from 1971 and it`s one of very few still allive here in Norway. Bought it this winter and the wagon is in stock condition with no uppgrades of any kind. The powerplant is the "angry" 3k engine but it`s running nice to be that old. It have been repainted for some years ago with various results. My first task is to get it free from rust and do a major service on the suspension and brakes. Thought I'd start a thread for my ke20 that i picked up a week or two ago, she has one or two spots of surface rust that's about all, she is completely stock with the 3k engine but am looking at putting a 12a in it n make it a mad little sleepa.The interior that is in the car isnt in the best condition but i picked up 4 black door cards and a black back seat all in near new cond and will install this w/e. hope you like ... pics

Well thought i might as well start a thread, bought the car from a mates brothers its got 81,000 k's on the clock and books up till 46,000 the 3k snaped and rod and the replacement 4k snaped the flexplate so now its a 4K 4 speed All i have done so far is lower it a bit :fuzz: and painted the wheels black anyway enjoy :P

Hey guys, I own a 1975 KE30 Corolla sedan. Its basically standard apart from wheels. Has some nasty rust in a few places aswell as a few dings around the place but its not too much trouble to fix considering I am a panel beater. I will be doing a conversion to a 2002 BEAMS 3SGE Blacktop with 2004 model 6 speed box(and a few other goodies). I am just waiting for the engine to be checked out by someone because I can't inspect for myself before I buy. Hoping in will be here in the next 3-4 weeks, if not sooner. last weekend my dad was driving and seen this ke10 on side of road for $700 bucks. managed to pick it up for $600. all receipts. 2 speed toyoglide. 63,00 miles all original. whats yous recon?

I'm not sure if I want to run the mags; it looks really good with the steelies, but it looks really good with the mags. I'll let you guys make my decision.

hey guys, just got my first rolla! don't know too much about them but am trying to learn very quickly. Hope the pic works! Brought it for $450, engines siezed but have sourced one out from a member on here brother, have manual conversion there but i think i just need the pedal box! My plan is to get the new engine in, possibly respray it all matt black as a dodgy job or the original blue with red pinstripe as i quite like the colour, get it roadworthied and regoed, then start planning to put in a 4agze and start D-rifting! Any input will be appreciated from you guys!

i bought this ke20 off a mate 4 $200. bargain i say. had it 4 about a month keen to build i guess u could say. the idea is. something thats pulling alota power. tubs. roll cage. shaved. don't want to register as i have a overrated ke20 as a daily. really just want it 4 power cruise ect. car is in bare metal. striped. shaved door handles. now just finding measerments 4 mini tubs. look and coment cheers gareth.

this is my ke30 my misses has been driving it for a while. it is pretty much stock execpt i put central locking in it and the power windows i didn't like the universal kits so i fabricated my own. i also repainted and put new crome striping on the grille of it aswell.

Hay guys i got my ke55 today :) . Its yellow,4 speed and you no all stock.It cost me $300 of some lady. Its in good nic for $300. its got just a litle bit of rust on the wheel archers Any way i will post pics up tomoro morning.cheers...........Josh

Hi There Folks, My name's Darren from Sheidow Park south of Adelaide. I've just bought this '64 Tiara dubbed Ratiara due to it's slightly less than perfect appearance. She runs really well, interior is very good apart from the top of the back seat which has suffered from 40+ years of sun. Body appears to be super sound with no rust to be seen although the paint has a nice level of character to it. Down sides are the shagged suspension, holey exhaust, lack of brakes, a poorly repaired steering wheel and the stupid amounts of silver frost paint sprayed all over the place! hi every body really happy i have finally found the car i am going to use as a bit of a project and mabey a daily for a while its a ke55 1980 with a 4k and really good interior the out side is a little rough but nothing to drastic all up it cost me $1000 but with 11 months rego and a few spares so i am happy will post some pics up tomorow it was to dark to take some today i am planning on putting a 32-36 weber on with extractors and a bit of modifying the exhaust also a nice set of 5 spoke rims and just do the body up a bit and mabey lower it down a little just for fun :yes: :P

My mates have all had Corolla's (more then what I can count of two hands), and after selling my ridiculous idea of a street car S13, I spent some dosh on other bits n bobs and found myself a 'daily'. Cheap, reliable, functionable. She's a 1984 AE71 Wagon. Manual, 270,000 km's. Noticed it had bigger rear drums and a filler/drain plug in the diff, and the driveshaft appears to be welded/customized, which my mates reckon means its from an ADM AE86 ('F' series?). I just picked this up two weeks ago today. So far I have been still sorting this car. The first day I got it I power washed the exterior. Had one tire fixed for a leaky valve stem. Vacuumed the interior and found 4 baby mice under the front passenger seat :hmm: the carpets smell like mouse piss :bash: , so i have to remove that and shampoo and disinfect it too. i bought two mouse traps and used peanut butter as bait hopefully i'll catch the critter soon. :) The next day I pulled the one of the door tumblers so I can have keys made as this car never came with keys. Finally got the trunklid opened and installed the tumbler lock, wirebrushed the surface rust on…

Hey guys, I've been thinking for a while now that i should create a ride thread for my car so here it is! a few of you may already know the car and have seen it around. Ive had the car for over a year a now and its turned out to be a very reliable daily. Its still relativly standard still running the 5speed and 4ac. Car are an expensive hobby and once you have spent lots of $$ getting your hobby up to a useable standard you normally have to spend more $$ to keep it workable/running My other choice for spending $$ on is my arcade cabinet. I am slowly (very very slowly) gathering together all the bits for my arcade cabinet.
