I'm back again.. Just picked up this 1991 AE93 Seca SX.. It has a GZE under the bonnet and has had alot of work done to it in the past.. At one stage I have been told it had a small stint in the NSW Tarmac rally arena.. and then it went off to be a show car in which it won many awards in its day... Gonna do some more research into it later.. I have plans to clean it up a bit and then might get stuck into making it quicker maybe a rebuild.. and a new engine management system.. the wolf 3D in it is well.. pretty old.. Well first off... What a piece of shit :P I took this car off'v the hands of a bloke at work for a slab of beer due to my kingswood's 202 crapping out and my utter laziness and at the time, poverty. After a lot of looking around and waiting I found a nice standard and immaculate 86 sprinter for sale which I put a deposit down on only to get screwed by the seller. Hi all,This is my project I just finished. Took 3 years, I started with only a bare shell and imported a half cut from Japan. It won "Peoples choice" trophy at Japanese show and shine at Lakeside raceway a couple of weeks ago. It has been blue plated and is getting registered in a couple of days.The 3T turbo engine is original and only has 96000ks on it. All the running gear is KE55,I serviced the fuel rail injectors and replaced front and rear main seals before fitting motor, as it did sit around for a while. Hey guys, Just thought I'd share my pride and joy with you! I bought this KE70 from a bloke through Ebay in Sunbury. It was one of the straightest KE70's I had seen, so I HAD to have it! I paid $1500, it was a bit pricey but I don't regret it in the slightest. It's beige in colour with 2 thin brown and orange stripes up the sides of the car. It's running a 4k completely stock 4 speed manual. I just recently got a full sports exhaust fitted just this weekend, extractors and 2" whole way through, sounds HEAPS better then what it did. Here it is my 92 holden nova GS with the unusual 7afe 1.8 engine. i bought it about 8 or 9 months ago of my workshop controller who used to work at a toyota dealership, who told me that the car had been in his familly since it had 50000 kms on it(it now has 287000km) and i reckon with new valve stem seals the engine could do an other 200000km no problems. the rear window is coming off at the bottom, which is annoying as i have to drain thye water out of the boot every time it rains :glare: . It's not to bad for the condition it is in, its a simple 4kc 5speed with 122xxx k's on the clock standard motor. It's got a bit of rust in one spot but the rest is pretty shmick for the car that it is. The paint is a bit faded but i guess thats normal for ke70's tho. Hey guys, havn't been a member on here long but have been a long time rolla fan having owned a couple of Ke70s years ago. Anyway, here is my latest purchase. 1970 ke20 with 78,000 on the clock. It's a stock 3k and toyoglide at the moment. There is one small spot of rust in the engine bay 3cm long which is being cut out and welded when it gets a fresh coat of paint in the next couple of months. Anyway I bought the car around 8 weeks ago from a guy who had bought it off the original owner only a couple of months prior. Found a new little beast the other day Swapped it for my replacement Lie-Ace (cost me $500 but i'm happy with the deal plus I was totally over rusty vans) It's a 2dr twincam EFI with full electrics Plans for it are: Full service (it's been sitting for a long time...) Fix the rust (small patch on the C-pillar, like a KE70...) Tidy-up the paint (roof & spoiler are peeling badly) Repair drivers seat Install a decent stereo (factory head-unit still works but the speakers are rooted) Fit some nice rims (nothing crazy just an upgrade from steelies) Here's a couple of pic's after heavy rain (it's still very dirty though)

objective - dedicated drift car i bought the 70 for $600 from a little old lady in north brisbane, the car was immaculate! not a spot of rust, interior was clean motor was great. unfortunatly due to switching jobs like pairs of underpants, the car had to sit in the yard for about a year. at times it had a p76 leyland v8 or a ca18 sitting in the engine bay, but both required wayyyy to much work. then one day i was sitting around thinking. hey wait. i have a mazda Bp 1.8 dohc sitting in my laser (did the conversion a year or 2 ago).. conversion to rwd (ding!) so i start googling for information on people that have done a conversion like this into a ke70. On tuesday I bought myself a gold XX ke70 for under a grand, interior was quite immaculate, but has problems with the engine running too hot, possibly head gasket or head, and some fairly big rust holes down under the boot. Other then that, I was very satisfied, even the dash is almost perfect! one little crack. Plan is to build it up, to an immaculate streeter, with a bit of a JDM feel, chrome bars, quad lights, carby 4age further down the track. I know a thread is useless with out pics, but camera was dead, so this is all I have at the moment. More photos to come of rust damage when my camera is working.

This was recently added to our backyard as a bit of a "team project" for a friend who has several Crowns. His wife would probably divorce him if he brought another one home, so my housemate and I have offered to store it here and help do the bodywork/paint until he can sell something and make some space. heres my ke10 slap together skid car the car was as is when i bought it all ive done is given it a good thrashing the beast is nothing special as the body is far from overrated n has a fair bit of bog (stuff u can't see in pics on ebay) is camo green with granny visor and a rear venetian that is out of some other car and has been cut down to sort of fit the ke10 drivetrain is a early 4age and a jap 5 speed no work is done to motor that i know of has crappy home made 2 inch exhaust and sports a standard ke10 diff(soon to be welded) rolls on 13 inch hot wires she does go well and leaves all the p plater vn commodore drivers from the lights
