That holden motor is pretty much done, all assembled and painted now. Parts decision is the main reason for the choice of E85. For 98 pump fuel. I really couldn't get a bowl in the piston to keep a nice burn and the static comp I was after, with the bigport head. TBH I could have built a 300+rwkw pump fueled 4agte like Trav's for way less. But real respect comes from making power with what you have, not what late mod motor you can wedge in the bay.

Ok, so I haven't updated this for a while. Thought I'd keep everyone in loop. After months of discussions on fuel choice with my tuner/fabricator friend and a heap of other tuner/performance shop contacts. I have "Sacked up" up and decided on E85. This means an update on the E6X haltech, the 550cc injectors and most of the rest of my fuel system I had from the blown setup. To a new platinum 1000 haltech, some ID1000's, a bigger lift pump, stainless surge tank with full teflon braid lines. So Ecu and a few bits will end up for sale on here in the next week or so(injectors are sort of spoken for). This means it may still take a while to get done but I think it will be worth it.

I always use E-Go for sending bits and pieces. But the seller wouldn't send any other way.

WGMG Auspost!!! Why do you charge so much for such garbage service?!?!?!?! One of my parcels has been at sunshine west sorting center for 3 days now and no one can or will tell me or the sender why. 7 working days is a bit of a joke from Brisbane to Melbourne. A cylinder head from springersrolla only took 4 days and it's from the next suburb over!!

I could watch the "lumpy dumpy" vid on youtube all day!! Such an awesome idle! Have you been freaked out by the over-run on the GZE yet? I had an ae82 GZE for today and the decel delay on the rpm when you close the throttle takes a bit to get used to.

Gratz Reed!!! Oh old 91, I think thats the main reason for your average performance. If it's got a knock sensor it's probably pulling all of the timing out of it as it comes onto boost.

I'm thinking your torque figure isn't as far off as first thought then. I struggled to turn second with the ancient T/A radials under pure power alone. Don't forget 18psi is double what I ran with the ZE.

I was the guy in the red mazda bt50 ute flashing my lights at you on hammond rd. I work in dandy too. Just down hammond rd, opposite the holden wreckers.

You will need to be a member for more than 3months, and then your car will need to be approved. Thats all before you'll need a rwc or inspection.

I've never seen a throttle plate on a 2t carb before. The slide is operated directly by the cable. Only thing that will usually wear is the float needle and seat.

It's been around for a long time. I used to see it out front of Central car radio on nepean hwy a fair bit years ago.

I'd think the same if it were at the same boost. But you're running double the boost I did. Fan mount looks tidy.

Spotted a blue/green ke10 with gold simmons in Dandy this arvo. From memory this car used to have personalized plates, remember seeing it at autosalon around 2000. To think I was going to take the 11 to work today but flat battery said no.
