  2. I'd forgotten how burnt she was. I would have given up after the fire and the first camshaft issue. I know first hand how much grief Tommy and Stu have gone through and it's a credit to their dedication. Hope this makes the short list. Will definatly get my vote. I'd love to see how much it would make, with a bit more cam and some more fuel.
  3. A 70 of my mates I build an maintain the 310rwkw(about 520hp at crank)4AGTE runs a commo borgy with billet axels. VT brakes front and back. Stops killer and loves rubbing the rear bars of ex v8 supertaxis. You'd only really need a 9" if your running an auto with a transbrake. What engine are you running?
  4. No dramas mate. Don't forget we'll need to go over the pushrods again once its been fired. I'll swing you some indicator lenses on the weekend too. This will be one cool little track car once finished.
  5. Be careful with some of those technotoytuning steering components. Rose joint steering and suspension parts can't be steel centered for road use in Vic. Front lip looks great. Golf 2 piece?

  9. WGMG: Not listening to my cough/chest infection, then spending Saturday morning in wet clothes(after I was drenched getting dad's 1600 of the trailer and unto the shop for new exhaust). Now I pretty much have pneumonia and stuck in bed, not being able to catch up with Tazrx!! Oh well, at least everything I need to do to the datto, is done for classic jap. Just waiting for sparky to finish ecu and get the old man to org a tow truck to get it to the tuner.
  10. You were looking at buying those ones springersrolla is selling? It depends on your bore size. I supplied them to him and when they were ordered thats all they had in stock in d-dish and 1mm oversize.
  11. They aren't "rocking horse poo" like people think they are(last week there were 4 for sale on ozdat). I have two atm and picking another up next week. none of this N/A ladies spec nonsense, all man spec, all are turbo! Haha nah both are awesome in there own right.
  12. Nnnnoooo!! Personally I'd look at a cometic MLS one, genuine toyota ones are always good too. Both are dearer than a cheap parts place special but way better quality.

  14. What it will make, is heaps of torque. Really, the seat of the pants dyno, is the only thing that matters. Pretty much this is what you need for a 100rwhp 5k.

  17. billets haven't been available for close to 15 years. There should be more than enough adjustment in the rockers to take up the slack of what is taken off the base circle of the cam.

  19. That holden motor is pretty much done, all assembled and painted now. Parts decision is the main reason for the choice of E85. For 98 pump fuel. I really couldn't get a bowl in the piston to keep a nice burn and the static comp I was after, with the bigport head. TBH I could have built a 300+rwkw pump fueled 4agte like Trav's for way less. But real respect comes from making power with what you have, not what late mod motor you can wedge in the bay.

  21. You won't have to worry about catching me for a fair while yet. Mine will be a while off. I don't think you'll need any more than the 60-75 your thinking. The fastest k powered thing I've seen in AUS was that white ke30 with the so called "3k" turbo that ran high 12.6.
