  1. Only Camry I'd own.
  2. Such a big hit by the looks of it. Good to hear he's not injuired. I was a passenger in an XU-1 that suffered a similar demise, scary thing seeing the person in the drivers seat as a passenger at 100km/h.
  3. Only bug I see is, not enough opposite lock. Haha. Congrats Craig good to see it on the dirt.
  4. I was going to wait until I had more but block is booked next week for some treatments before machining. I'm waiting on MLS headgasket specs so I can finalize piston bowl size. I'll get there soon enough, so many custom bits it's still costing me a wedge!! More than a full house 4agte!
  5. Checked/replaced relays too? Could also be a dodgey Air Flow Meter. I have never heard the pump prime on webers4x48's 82 twinky. That's with both the bigport and and the GZE.
  6. Hahaha may have to get a little feral before classic jap then.
  7. Here you go. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/19886-my-ke-11/page__fromsearch__1
  8. 2ltr stroker 3t alphabet to make a 4t? Now the 30's done, I've been wondering what I'm going to do for my weekly fix of awesome. Now I know.
  9. Yes, yes and yes!!!! 80's sunroofs for the tip!!!!!!!
  10. WMMH 4 day weekend!!!!!
  11. His loss is your gain!! Haha Nice purchase. Will be following closely!!
  12. Sorry I'm a bit late to the party Rob!! Apparently the internal ignighters haven't been available for atleast 2-3yrs. I had a reasonable search for tommyske11 around 2yr ago and came up with nothing. I am going to my ignition guy Monday to pick up my magna-fj20 CAS. I'll quiz him if he has one stashed down the back and his thoughts on what goes where with the new direction. Stu. Edit. I wonder how close to original those ones on eBay "jzspares" sell are? They might sell the ignighter seperatly if it's the same.
  13. Being that the Audi and Volvo 5cyl are quite close, you may find some info regarding size in here. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/46262-ke70-1981-project-runway/page__fromsearch__1 RWD gearbox will be the most expensive part and more than likely it will need custom manifolds. The howl the 5cyls make is unbeatable.
  14. Has it wedged the piston?? Might pay to strip it and give it a clean.
  15. I ran around 28-30. You'll notice the dizzy has been ground a little at the end of the adjust slot. 18 Should be ok, timing will depend on dynamic comp etc etc.
  16. Haha been there, but my battery was worth more than a new laptop. Bought a $25 cig lighter charger and problem solved!
  17. PWM outputs usually only run 2 wire BAC idle valves. The Haltech sprint 500 I put in dads 1600 will only run a 2 wire BAC. But my earlier E6's(k and x) both have wiring to run up to a 4 wire IAC valve. Good to see you've started getting familiar with the software. Anything has to be better than what it had!! In saying that though it did the job in my car if it was driven hard.
  18. Beat me to it altezzaclub!! For the three years I had the blown setup in mine, with 100+rwkw and a metric f/ton of torque(way more of both than a mild modded 4age would make) the borgy diff and k50 never complained. The ke-11 is a heap lighter than the ke-70 so that probably helped.
  19. My 11 is insured for 10k and cost $580 last year. That's salvage no questions asked, glass cover and my choice of repairer. Oh yeah I'm rating 1 for life too.
  20. Did you end up getting the other one?
  21. Should do. From memory the parts numbers are one number different. Pretty sure the bendix part no for the commo pads is DB1086. Will definatly open your choice up for better material. EBC, QFM and Bendix all offer these pads in far better material than what is offered for the ke55.
  22. You definatly said they were big and it was a work of art but it far exceeded my expectations. Thanks again I'll be making sure it stays safe. With the new haltech I can tag so many parameters to trigger protection mode it isn't funny. I can progress with this now I have a good(lol) cylinder head. I've started porting the copper gasket I bought off Si, when that's done I can use that as a solid template to copy for laser cutting exhaust mani flange. I'm going to take the block to work the see if I can keep it std bore, once I've got a definate bore size I can organise pistons and get the rest of the block machined. Keeping it std bore will save me needing to cryo treat it, not that it's all that expensive. But it all adds ups. Oh and I think with the cam and lifter combo I have I'll have to get custom pushrod set.
  23. Very, very nice Craig! Can't wait to see the photos of it sideways and dirty.
  24. Haha yeah they are fairly large. Really only noticed how big everything was when I put the bigport next to it!
  25. Looked great on Sunday. One of my favs for sure!
