  1. Grats guys. If it's the same 1600 I'm thinking its definatly a ultra clean car!
  2. Looks like it sits a fair bit higher than it used to. Shouldn't be too much of an issue with the intercooler plumbing, should be able to just trim that 45deg silicone hose to suit. I JUST had enough room to get to the dizzy to adjust timing, but geez that blower can get a bit hot.
  3. What car are the struts from?
  4. Much better, cheers!!
  5. WGMG ch1/10's F1 telecast is only a quarter of the way through and it s$@ts me that much already I've turned it off!! Too many interviews containing nothing to do with F1 and by/with people have no idea about motorsport! WTF?!?!?!?!
  6. So Craig, is this thing meant to be a rally inspired show car? Haha Looking good as always!!
  7. Where is the boost gauge connected?
  8. It shouldn't effect it at all mate. It lived like that for a good 2+ years in my car. You will have to pull the blower out to check oil levels though. It's been so long since I had it on my car I can't remember if it read higher or lower, in the car. Might be some photos of the bracket in my rides thread.
  9. Damn straight!!! Haha SR's are an overrated, overpriced, tractor sounding, bearing spinning POS IMAO!! Might be a little biased as I'm sick of fixing my mates 300rwkw SR Westfield after every track day. Worst part is what he's wasted on aftermarket sump, pans and pickups I could have built a dry-sump!!
  10. Ok I have ke-20 backing plates, calipers, hoses and rotors, but no hubs. The rotors are undersize and the calipers haven't been used in many years by the looks of things, so they'd need pulling apart and checking at a minimum. Going by that your welcome to have them.
  11. http://www.picnicathangingrock.com.au/latest-news.html Now rescheduled for 4th of May.
  12. Unleaded fuels barely last more than two months unless completely sealed. I'm tipping stale fuel.
  13. Why can't you just replace the bearings?
  14. For the 20 brakes you'll need. Backing plates, rotors, hubs, calipers and the rubber hoses. I'll see what I have left at home. With lowering the ke1X's best/cheapest way is to use ke20 lowered springs(Peders or kings), ke20 shock inserts, ke20 top spring perch and ditch the traverse leaf. Your going to want to fit a swaybar too.
  15. Good to see someone shares my opinion!
  16. What's this A/R business Luke??? You do know we are a metric country? My two gauges arrived today(so much for 6 week wait!). Catch you Sunday. Keen to hear some induction!!
  17. I won a 7k inlet mani and 550cc injectors on eBay a while ago for about $80!
  18. There is a ke50 in "the cannonball run".
  19. That's a good thought. Manual, locker and hydro handbrake. A flat capper will pay five times more than what it's worth!
  20. ITB's!!!! Love the tallica reference too!
  21. We have been in discussions, Si. I've got cam, lifters and most probably pushrods.
  22. Be careful buying carter pumps on eBay. A lot are just cheap rip-offs, I've been caught in the past. What head are you going to use/using?
  23. Yes mate, running in a fresh engine rich, can f'@k it just as quick as running it lean.
  24. Thinking the oil is getting hot and loosing viscosity? Might be a good idea either way. K rocker gaskets don't like being over tightened, don't laugh but a length of garden hose and some silicon for the join apparently work very well as a rocker gasket.
