  1. Piston brand? They don't all use the same clip.
  2. Alternatively you can use an LPG safety switch. I've used them before for carb stuff. The ones I've used will prime off the ignition switch and then run the pump after it receives a tach signal off the coil. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/331102163645 Something like this.
  3. Seeing as you've got ITB's on TPS/MAP tuning down, I'd stick with that. The majority of AFM's can be a fair restriction anyway. I back to back tested this with the FJ20 datto, when I got it running on the sprint 500. First run @ 19psi made 185rwkw(with the AFM plumbed but not using for tuning) then ditched it and power went to 215rwkw and everything happens 1,500-2,000rpm earlier. It certainly wouldn't be the case for all AFM's, people seem to get good results with Z32 ones.
  4. It only seems like we were talking about piston options for this a couple of months ago. Looks to be coming along nicely. Go the alloy big block!! Haha
  5. Try living south of the border!! Been hovering around the 13-14deg for the last week in Vic. Air box sounds interesting.
  6. Was that mates rates? I would be happy paying that for custom headers and exhaust.
  7. Yeah I had it pretty close to 30. But I did have less comp and the blower cam, so your setup may not take as much timing. I'd start low and work your way into it. Probably around 10-15 and creep it up slowly. Haha yeah sorry wideband.
  8. Have you pulled any fuel out of the tune at idle? It could even be a bit rich. I had to set it rich at idle because of the locked dizzy and the 30deg of idle advance, otherwise she'd overheat. It is actually fairly easy to get your head around tuning, with this ECU(if you could call it that) If you had your own sniffer you could have it road tuned within an hour if not less. Grats on getting it started! I do really miss this setup though.
  9. As far as fwd's go, I really like these sedans. Take an already rigid chassis and add a steel parcel shelf! There is a GE powered one local. Owner says its heaps of fun!!
  10. It ties in nice with the black headlight frames. It's a 👍 from me!!
  11. It's definatly not an E15T wheel, as they are 4 and 1 optical wheel. I'll have a search through all my datto diagrams and sketches and see if I can work anything out. The E15 sensor is apparently same as FJ so I'll have a look tomoz and see. Do you have the plug?
  12. Dude call me over the weekend and I'll talk you through how to deal with that abacus. Haha Do you still have my number? Will need a bit of a play, I really only spent time tuning wide open throttle. That and the huge differences in camshafts.
  13. Yep, two earths, an ignition feed and the trigger wire.
  14. Dare say he's monster flake fairlane would have looked mental with a polish. When I get him to redo the paint on the 11(damn right you are!) it will be acrylic. I'd throw even more clear at the bay. My datto wasn't clear coated in the bay when prev owner did it and geez it stains easily.
  15. That's the beauty of the LS coil, I run one on the FJ no ignighter needed. Still retain stock dizzy/CAS.
  16. Ah yeah that's right, it'll need a retune. I forget about that stuff with the datto running a VE tune. What about LS coils?
  17. Did those injectors arrive? I do have 4 more if you have too many issues. Lol They looked pretty gunky when I packed em. Wanna see more boost!!! Haha If you get the opportunity to bring it over with you next time. We'll get some figures for you, good mate just sprung for a new DD dyno.
  18. That's pretty good for carbs mate. Old mate got 10ltr/100km in the datto on the trip to hanging rock.
  19. Try a "dove back" one from "move yourself" trailer hire. If you still have trouble chuck an f'off trolley jack under the towbar and lift away.
  20. I got those injectors and plugs off yesterday arvo. You should have em Monday or Tuesday. I put six in (the "matched" 4 that come out of the mani are separated.) just in case any of them have issues.
  21. Big drive for Nobbler, considering he's moved to Mildura.
  22. Heck yeah, looks awesome!! See you tomoz!!
  23. Would wire up very similar, I'm pretty sure. Main benefits are most things are user defined eg. You tell IT what you have, not the other way round and full sequential capability with a dual pulse Nothing wrong with the microtechs really, they do the job. A 4agte I build for a mate uses the 10 series one and makes just over 300rwkw. But bear in mind a recal will probably run you around $250. I'll send photos after I've posted this. It appears its a modded magna CAS/dizzy to fit a "K" motor. It's a 4 and 1 optical setup with the cap blanked off. I can't tell for sure exactly which magna it came off as I purchased it done from Mitch-12(lazy moment was cheaper than what I could be bothered doing for)
  24. Yohan18 I've got a modded 4k/magna CAS at home. I can text you some photos if you PM me your mobile number. I've also got a haltech e6x I won't be using.
  25. If the microtech isn't configured for your setup, it will never work 100% right. They usually print all the info on the back of the ECU.
