1. not sure if kp6 stuff fits ke2 but maybe. Ecu need lambda signal to do its job Are those parts for the rallyrolla ? Harder isnt always better but try and fail is a great way of finding out. Always fun to read Your uppdates  sold the kp a couple of years ago and bought the Charmant. Good trade. was the only Winter pic found so posted it.. charmant and 4runner are my daily rides, got whats in my signature + a pug406 and a 1970 Datsun c30 :rocknroll:
2. Take off Dizzy cap. You should be able to turn rotor a bit and it should return smoothly by spring action. Check rotor shaft for sideways play - indicates wear. My stock 4ks have been happy to rev to 6k, hasnt been much point in going past tho.
3. kp61 with a 4ag, couple of 4ks, k40s ++ gave it enough weight but screwed upp handling and performance [/img]
4. Some early ta22s came with D series diffs. T series zenki lsd will fit D housing and Axels, but will need a donor T diffhead to Mount it in. Just measure distance between driveshaft flange and diffhead to housing flange to see what you got
5. They got much the same kw but a bit more torque in 7afe. Some differences depending on model. Have read Blocks have some differances depending if theyre from fwd or awd. Taller Block will bring exhaust upp a bit if Mounts are in the same place. Exhaust manifold might make upp for it tho. Check if radiator or fan isnt causing cooling problem before swapping engines ;)
6. ET 0 will work but measure so you get it just where you want it saab pre 88` is 4x114.3 and later are 4x108 . ET in the 40s tho
7. ttt make some tapered bushes for kp61 balljoints to ae86 steering arms. Not sure if tapers are the same but you could do a search. $45
8. inconsequential detail imo. Most new cars look worse. Its rwd, light, new , well balanced, supposed to be cheap and RWD
9. Refreshingly different
10. Bumpers in your pic look like youre in US so try schneider cams . They do a few grinds rockauto have some parts for your car as well. May find some second hand stuff on garage3tc
11. Have you checked fusible links ? http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/64891-fusible-links-options/
12. http://www.esapeltonen.fi/toyotaenglish.htm
13. Look for a Celica ta22 or a Carina ta12/14 T-series diff as they`re same width as ke3 and flared vertion of te27 Some early ta22 have d series and some ta 12 have s series so know what to look for. Will need leaf spring Mounts and driveshaft shortening tho but lsd heads are available as mentioned. Might get a lsd for Your original diff from finland . Will post a link if I remember.. What engine`s in it ?
14. replica of the 1975 Hannu mikkola te 27 at midnightsun rally 2012 and a clip from 1976 http://motormavens.com/tag/hannu-mikkola/
15. Your 4a t40 will be a 22 spline vertion with large input bearing 2t t50 could be either a 20 or 22 spline (outputshaft) depending on age. Change was sometime in 82` If its a 22 spline, 4a bell will fit. Ke20/ke70 driveshaft wont. If its a 20 spline , ke20ke70 driveshaft will fit but input bearing will need a spacer ring to suit the bell. 4a bell isnt perfect for a 4age but many use it. Look at heatsheilding clutch slave cylinder
16. thermostat wateroutlet for K series with threads for fan switch 16333-12011 ke70, kp6# and late ke3# had them here. If toyota don't have them , amayama got them listed.
17. http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/forum/ and 3tcgarage.com are probably more uppdated on US prices Your car looks good so wouldnt think it would take much .. 'theres cheap parts available for it on Rockauto
18. 1600cc 2TC engine and appears to be in good shape. Model code is TE38 Guess youre located somewhere in US ? Great job saving it from demo derby No Idea about the value localy, someone on JNC forum might have an idea.' It would make a cool daily driver if you decide to keep it tho. Reliable and easy to drive and maintain
19. Yea, exist and look like this. Got one in my ke17 part no. 41301 kp002
20. and its not what its advertised as. Good ke70s can get about $5000 here. Rotten ones around $2000 I bought a solid charmant with good interior for $1500 I`ll just have to live with it beeing a 4A T50 instead of a 4k k40 .. oh and the daihatsu badges ;)
21. If its a jap diff it will be a B-code. They came in ke1 and early ke2 + some early publicas U-code jap diffcenters will also fit the housing and axels. They came in ke2 ,ke3, ke7 ,late kp61 starlets, AL25 4x4 tercels. Kp60, kp62 and early kp61 came with x-code diffs. u and b code axels don't fit these. Some if not all aussie assembled cars have borg warner diffs tho . I know nothing about those but doubt they interchange with jap stuff
