Hey Hey, Bought this for a daily. This is to replace my Corona for a while so yeah. Came with new front vented rotors and calipers off a Ae112 i think, So they will go on soon along with new rear rotors and pads. Has the parcel tray still in good nick which amazes me as i havent seen many around. 15x6 wheels, Might be 15x6.5 but not sure yet as i havent had a good chance to look. Adjustable whiteline rear sway bar looks bling, Has yellow rear springs so they might be kings, Not sure but meh. Front struts might be shagged as it feels very very soft. oh well. Interior is a bit grubby, Mainly dust but the dash is uncracked and that cover t…

Hey Hey, I've waited freakin ages for this car to arrive on a truck, About 3 months. It came a long way from Mr Shades but Anyway.... 1984 Ae71 CSX 4AC and an automatic. Has the usual spots of rust that i need to finish off repairing and then a general tidy up, The interior is pretty clean for its age. I've been collecting parts for this car for a while so i've got a fair bit of shit in the shed. To do list: Check all brakes etc Check all fluids. Change front rotors and pads Clean out interior, Vacuum it out etc. Get it running smoothly, has a miss at idle. Manual conversion. Full tank of 98 and adjust timing. Fuel filter, plugs, oil and oil filt…

So.. Ive decided that along with the casual street work I usually do, I'm just not satisfied. So I made a decision that will change my whole appearance. I'm going to do drag! It all started last week with a suggestion from a mate at work who has been regularly out on wednesday night and convinced me its something I should add to my repetoire. He said it was a blast and that its the most fun you can have in one night. So last wednesday night I went out and had a great time! It wasnt the easiest to get used to, but by the end of the night I started to get the hang of it. Anybody else out there done this as well? you'll know what I'm on about  So aft…

Well guys, being thinking of what to do with my old '55, the dented up old bitch that used to have the 4ktc in it..... this car.... For a few months now I have been toying with the idea of converting it to 4x4 with suzuki sierra running gear! Because the sierras have a seperate gear box and 4wd transfer case, the plan was to put both sieraa diffs, the transfer case, front leaves and a mix match of steering racks. Sierras and corolla are pretty close in chassis rails spacing. Now due to me not being able to find a written off sierra or running gear at a price I'm happy with, I've come up with another plan for the car in the mean time - an entry class Tas rally car.…

Well, I picked up this Blue spirit for the pricely sum of $350 with no rego, two blown tyres, macked brakes all round, a clutch that made driving the car more like an automatic that did a kickdown everytime you touched the throttle and a really bad paintjob. However, all the important points were there. Very little rust, straight panels and a near overrated interior. It even had the original paperwork that came with the car (manuals, etc), and something resembling a service history up to around 50,000km... :y: The engine is strong and doesn't blow even the slightest smoke. Did you know that Toyota recommends a specific part number for the coolant to put into the 4…

Hey guys, Well I have finally got one! After about a year and a half of searching and saving on maccas pay I have got myself a KE20 :) It turns out a few of you may even recognise this one as well, as it has been around here for a while. I purchased it off Sim in the last week or so, but I also believe it was owned by Scott (PMP 020) and a bloke called Glenn (also from here). It is pretty tidy apart from; >Rust in the front 1/4s, spare wheel well, and behind the bumpers and around the bootlid. >Rear interior is good, but the front seats are torn, and the dash is cracked. Mechanically it all seems pretty good, engine runs fine and gearbox etc…

Hey guys, thought i should share with you my boxie corolla that i have.... been checking out stuff on the forums for awhile now, contemplating on what to do and so on, and i recon I'm getting closer to a decision... My boxie is a 1973 model... i got it from the son of an old lady that could not drive any more due to age and her sight... the car is baby blue and when i got it had 84k on the clock... Minter.... being old though, she tended to like scrapping the front guards on her garage walls, but other than that, nothing wrong.... I have got new fenders, also new light surrounds, and bumpers for it, which i havent put on yet.. the plan was jsut to get it back to original,…

Then we had a job together and I picked up my mate for work everyday and walked past his rolla EVERY DAY. I could not let her just sit there, so i saved enough moola and took it off his hands. He had done some mods that are obvious in the pics. (Sigma mags, Steering wheel, sterio, exaust tip) But she was mostly stock. inc 3k Hear is some pics before i bought her..... more to come soon....

Found a new little beast the other day Swapped it for my replacement Lie-Ace (cost me $500 but i'm happy with the deal plus I was totally over rusty vans) It's a 2dr twincam EFI with full electrics Plans for it are: Full service (it's been sitting for a long time...) Fix the rust (small patch on the C-pillar, like a KE70...) Tidy-up the paint (roof & spoiler are peeling badly) Repair drivers seat Install a decent stereo (factory head-unit still works but the speakers are rooted) Fit some nice rims (nothing crazy just an upgrade from steelies) Here's a couple of pic's after heavy rain (it's still very dirty though)

So after idolising Dave (te278u) te27 for years and also numerous other friends having tricked up ke2x I had to have one. After buying 3 other cars off Dave (ke10 and 2 ke70 wagons) he mentioned thinking of selling a ke25 he had stowed away in the corner of his shed to wich I of course replied "I want it" sooo now to make it into something I can drive daily and still have some fun. When I picked her up And at her new home after some cleaning and disassembling for paint and panel

hey guys ive searched the forum and i havent stumbled onto anything like this so i want to get everyones thoughts on building a drift rolla. i've got a 25k budget and a blank canvas. so what would peoples advice be on which year corolla (i like the ones around 83-86), what engine (anything, v8, sr, ca, what ever will get me sliding), suspension, gear box. everything id need really from start to finish for a sweet drifting set up. or ultimately would a different car all together be better? I'm hoping not cause i love the corolla! i just hope 25 is enough. thanks for any help

Originally the Easy Rolla was going to be used as a motokhana car for me & my son however situations change and it now looks like being my daily driver. This has resulted in a need to rethink the whole direction of the car and a new plan has been born. Engine wise its basically a stock 3K with extractors & a cam and thats the way it will stay for a while. The interior is another issue all together, its basically stuffed which wasnt goint to be a problem when the plan was a motokhana car but now that its going to be used as a driver I need to give it an EXTREME MAKEOVER :) For those that don't know, this is Easy Rolla currently This is the inter…

Arrived just an hour ago on a truck from Victoria. On initial drive and inspection i have no doubt that the car has only travelled 48,000miles. Interior is very good, only two small holes in the drivers seat, all other seats, door trims, roof lining and rubber floor coverings are perfect. All door and boot rubbers are excellent and the paintwork is pretty much all original. The front apron has had a small bump and an ordinary repair, but thats easily fixed. Engine and box are perfect and the car drives like new. All brightwork is excellent so to are all the lenses. Considering i bought the car sight unseen ( pics only ) i'm very happy! Plans are for a complete sti…

Hey I've had this rolla for a while now... finally getting around to posting some pictures up. Its an ae101r hatch with just the standard 4afe motor Since I Bought it back in April a little work has been done to it including an exedy sports heavy duty clutch, a set of alloys, a tacho (since i couldnt find a wrecker with a tacho cluster) and an upgraded sound system. Only half it has been installed so far (headunit, sub, amp n wiring), the JBL 6.5" splits & 6x9s will be installed soon, even though the standard speakers are going well with the sub :jamie:. New alternator the other day, and Suspension is in the near future. When I bought it: …
