Picked up my first car just recently in South Aus :) Done 80,000 original km's with full service history. Couple of spots of bubble rust (which I plan on getting restored), cracked dash and an unusual yellow paint area on the front panels are pretty much the worst things on the whole. I am the 3rd owner. 1st was an older gentleman who only did around 5000 kms per year and the 2nd being a younger chick who pretty much did bugger all aswell. So its all nice and neat. Heres a quick squiz before I get some more pictures Already has tinted windows, cd stereo and an alarm system, but have plans for paint restoration firstly, than suspension and brakes an…

Most of you would have seen some of these but seeing as i had to clean out the shed i thought i'd take some pics of what's inside. 1. The nearly finished 67 KE10, owned 4 years. 2. The overrated 70 KE11, owned 11 years. 3. My sons Harry Potter Ford Anglia, owned 12 years. 4. 69 KE10 old race car project, KE25 front end, Mazda brakes, full chrome molly cage, owned 13 years. 5. Turbo Mini, owned 22 years. 6. 70 RT72 Corona 1900 SL Hardtop, owned 9 years. 7. Corona XT 130, not usually what i'd keep in the shed but its way to good to be left out, owned 4 months.

Purchased this little gem from a fellow Rollaclub member in WA. Its all original and looks to have traveled about 120,000miles. Paint is all original and it still has the original K 1100 motor in it. Seats are already at the trimmer to get repaired ( bottom of the front seats and top of the rear seat ), will give it the big detail this Sunday and then down to the panel shop Monday to have the dent in the boot and rust in the right front guard done. Will update pics and work gets completed.

Seeing as my KE10 Khanacross Special wasn't finished we decided to use the old AE 71 that had been hanging around for spares. After about 5 hours of stripping, cleaning, fitting the race seat, extinguisher, bonnet pins, alloys and rally tyres from my old KE 70 khanacross car and locking up the diff this 1600 3 speed auto was ready for its first event. The event was out at Riverside Oaks at Catai, 6 stages with 3 attempts at each. I double entered the car with a mate and apart from breaking a rear exhaust rubber the car went surprisingly well for a stocka !

Here are a few pics of cars i've had and still have!! Me in my KE17 in 1996 at the old Amaroo Park circuit sporting the "Brock" style open faced helmet! How my ke18 looked when i first bought it back in the late 90's. A 4AGE powered KE25 i had, sold about 12 years ago. My wife's 4AGE powered AE86, sold about 8 years ago to a guy in Melbourne, never seen again!. A one owner KE20 which i owned twice, current owner lives not far from me, now sporting a CA18 turbo motor! As i scan a few more i'll post them up!!

Well where do i start ?, at the beginning i guess. I purchased this 69 KE10 some 12 years ago as a stock little car powered by a 3K and backed by a 2 speed auto. I gave it to my dad to use as a work hack back then. As the years passed i changed it to a manual, put a KE25 front end in it, added Mazda 323 front struts and brakes, had a full chrome molley cage fitted and had a JTS built 4k installed running twin 40ml Webers. Then i got married, got a mortgage and this project got shelved. About 6 years ago i took the motor out and put in into a KE70 to use as a Kahanacross car and the poor little 10 got left out and unfortunately started to weather away. Now the KE 70 ha…

Today my KE10 which i've owned for the last 11 years has found a new home. The new owner certainly proved himself to be a worthy owner of a classic Japanese car, turning up in a stunning little Mazda 1300. Makes the pain of loosing a great little friend easier knowing its going to a good home. :lock:

Dropped of my KE 17 to have the 7K installed. The shop doing the work is usually busy working on other more exotic and expensive racers. They've already done all the sump clearance measurements so as to get the engine as low down as they can, its also being uprighted a little to give the twin webers more room. They're also building some extractors for it, all of the shelf items are made for smaller capacity engines and are a little small in pipe diameter.

Most of you have seen my SL Sprinter before, but just picked it up from the sign writer after adding racing stripes and windscreen band. You'll be able to check this car out and my KE 11 this Saturday in the City for NRMA Motorfest. The 7k transplant starts next month. :hmm:

Most of you already know my little red KE 18 wagon, it did run a 7K efi engine but i've decided to go back to an original 3K. The 3K i'm using is the old engine out of my KE17 Sprinter. It was originally purchased 12 years ago as a low km Jap import motor, i removed and shaved the head and fitted a mild cam. When the head was removed i noticed the engine was very very clean a real low km Jap import motor, back when you could get them. Already got one quick 7K didn't need a second, just incase you were wondering why i decided to go back to the 3K.

I bought this 1970 KE 11 about 7 years ago from the original owner. Only had about 49,000 miles its now done 53,000, it came with original purchase papers, owners manuals and sales brochure. The car had spent its whole life at the same address always garaged. Except for cleaning the engine bay, repainting the wheels and adding the Castrol Green stripes the car is pretty much as i bought it. Except for a small repair to the left rear quarter all the paint is original so to is all the interior. In all my time playing with KE1# series Corollas i have never seen a cleaner more original one!!

This is my KE 11 4 Door which i've had stored for over 2 years. Just a new battery and of she went. Carby needs a overhaul and the front seal in the box is leaking, other than that everything else seems fine. This car is a 1970 model, 1200 3K, 2 speed Toyoglide, factory tinted glass, front discs, stainless roof gutter trim, fully reclinable front seats ( same as KE 15/17's ) and a small rubber trim that goes around the headlight surounds which i've never seen on any other KE1# series Corolla. Also the car has never had a heater fitted which tells me it was most likely imported not sold new in Australia. I have been able to trace back NSW registration to the early 80's…

This is my wifes KE17 that she thought she was going to sell but after i got it out gave it a little clean and had it prepared to be freighted to SA to the new very worthy owner ( sorry Jai ) she changed her mind. Whilst the car was tucked away in the shed the decision to sell was easy but after having it sitting in the carport and going for a drive any chance of it being sold was gone ( for now anyway ). Hard to believe after 10 years in storage just rebuilding the front calipers, a new battery and cleaning out the carbys and we're away again.

This used to be my wife's everyday car up until about 7 years ago, she got a company car. Was left under a carport at my parents place. It just needed a battery, fuel and a new fuel pump and off she went. The brakes are partially seized and there's a bit more rust now. Its only done about 92,000 miles, except for the drivers seat most of the interior is good. Planning on tidying her up a bit, overhaul the brakes and sticking it on Historic Registration. She used to fly with the twin SU's, heaps better than the original factory twin carbs.

Just picked this one up from fellow Rollaclub member. Fitted the MA61's while i get the original 13's painted. Car is in well above average condition, rust is limited to the bottom of the guards and a previous repair to the sills. Will be getting it buffed and polished this week and i'm expecting to paint to come up a treat. Interior is amazing, no rips or tares, dash and carpet are perfect and door and window rubbers are great. Mechanically drives well, needs exhaust manifold leak fixed, tune up and a front left wheel bearing but apart from this its a little gem.

Well here's the latest purchase and yes it was the one advertised on this forum. I don't understand why no one else snapped it up ?, original 51,000kms, factory 5 speed and absolutely NO RUST!. Car drives like new even has the original Uniroyal SR78 tyres, drivers seat needs a small repair and there are a couple of small dents which i'm going to have the paintless dent man attend to and after a buff and polish all the original factory paint will come up a treat.

Picked this one up today, came from a local lad who had an altercation with a slow moving truck. Couldn't bare to see it go to the wrecker. After i get the motor and box out i'll asses the damage to see if it can be fixed.

Found this 85 Corona at the same auction room where i found that SA63 Celica. This one owner Corona has only done 93,000kms has cold air con and power steering and this is how i bought it, hasn't even been washed yet!. Paint and trim are excellent, no rust and drives great. Will most likely move it on but not after i take it to the Al Palmer show next month.

Just turned up yesterday arvo, gave it a quick wash and cleaned the windows and took some average pics this morning. This one owner 74 KE36 wagon has only done 35,000kms, came from a 96 year old lady in Cairns. Apart from a small paint touch up at the end of the left front guard all the paint is original, trim is great, dash perfect, carpet has faded a little around gear shift, rear bumper has small dent left side and still had the plastic on both front doors until my son thought he would un-rap the door trims for me. Usual plans of a major detail, but this one will remain 100% stock and original. Will post better pics later and will hopefully get it ready for the Al Pal…

Hi all, Thought you might be interested in my "new" TE37 Levin. I found it on the yahoo.jp auction site, and with the help of import monster (http://www.importmonster.com.au) purchased it. It arrived in my garage in Melbourne, Australia on May 4 2012. The good: It's super straight - very little rust, original shell, dash all there (re-covered binnacle) everything is clean and tight. The "bad": not really bad... just different... The head has been changed (to an EFI "big valve") but still with original carbies, suspension has been lowered, missing the air con compressor and evaporator, no carpet. The ugly: well not really ugly... just parts that are hard to get! Miss…

Hi Guys and Girls, Just thought I would share some pics of my new ol school ride I bought last week from a guy here Reed, nice guy. He was pretty emotional about selling the car. And I know why.....I love it!!! Future plans are to upgrade engine to possibly 4AGE 20V, new wheels (14 inch), full respray and suspension upgrade. Would like some suggestions for hot wheels for the KE18 (pics welcome). So far all I have done in the past 10 days is clean the shit out of it and polished the chrome (Cut and machine polish next weekend). Ordered a new OMP steering wheel and quick release. Hope you all enjoy these pics I took today. PS: Yes Reed I'm looking after…

Hey everyone, So here's the backing story. 6 years ago, a little old vintage car collector bought this little vehicle for his granddaughter as her first car, buying off an old couple who had both lost their licenses, hence a little old people damage to the front but nothing too bad. He called her up and told her to come and get her new car! When she got there, she looked at it an said, "That's old. I thought I was getting a new car. I don't want that!" So the old man left it under his house behind their Jazz for 6 years, charging the battery every two weeks. And he didn't buy her another car! A few months ago, looking in the paper I saw an add that read; TOYOTA s…

I've Been lurking around these forums for a little while so I thought I would post up a small project entry. I bought this car off a friend of a friend, it already had the motor in the car although there were many corners cut. I blew the standard diff within 2 nights of owning the car, got another standard one for the time. It originally ran a rb25 T3 though the seals blew and I figured it was a good excuse to start with the upgrades. Specs as of now. Car: 81 KE55 XX Coupe Motor & Driveline: S14 SR20DE w/ VCT, S14 gearbox, GT28RS .86 rear, Standard det exhaust manifold, custom dump pipe, 3" exhaust, 450x300x76 fmic. Fuel System: 555cc nismo inje…

I decided to buy my Girlfriend, Amber, a car. She had always talked about her dad owning an AE82 Corolla Seca when she was little that he called the BLAT. I thought it would be nice to get her a Corolla the same model as the BLAT she loved so much... I found this one on gumtree, It was located in Mt.Bryan. Me and my brother went for a cruise down there in the Celica, It was a lovely drive =P Anywho, When we arrived we checked it out and made sure it was a good runner. Started up great, no knocks or noises, Went into gears more smoothly then my Celica. Sounds awesome for a little 4AC. We had also never seen that colour on an AE82 Seca. Got it home and serviced …

We picked her up for a paltry price, the previous owner had to sell her due to geographic reasons, mainly that he wasn't remaining in our geographic location. He'd kindly removed all the rust and straightened the bumpers. Almost ready for paint... She came with the original 3K, 4 speed combo, and a 7MGE auto... the original owner was smitten with a certain 1hp per kg car featured on this site and wanted something similar. Now, however the tide has turned... She's going to be something a little more sensible. only a little. Over the next few months, we'll be approaching a range of technical aspects of building the "perfect" rolla... body prep, b…

Thought it about time I re did the old girl again. Last time was over 20 years ago. This time I'm going down a different path from last time. Previously it was a fully worked 3k and 4 speed that was a real lot of fun. Embarrassed a few V8 Torana's in its day. Now I want Reliability and simple auto driving. And also passing on to my son once on his P's Later this year. Also cleaning up the rust and fitting either a 4ac or 4AGE with a 3 speed auto. Mods apart from that will include KE30 rear diff and AE71 Front brakes on KE30 Hubs. + Sigma GSR 14" Alloys. Also going to try and fit air conditioning while I'm at it. I have sourced a complete AE82 Seca for a donar…

I'd like to log the progress of my KE20 as it makes its way from a rough old original to a neat streeter. Purchased the vehicle on the 1/8/2010 for $1500. I saw it driving home from the wreckers after buying new seats for my daily. I've been told i'm the third owner. Originally owned by some old biddy, then a younger dude, whom I bought it off. Thanks Tyson and thanks to my brother for not buying it out from under me. The car itself is a 1972 KE20 SE coupe. All original apart from paintand 4k upgrade, but still has 3k components. It drives well apart from the reversed rear leaf springs.... it's low. It's riding on Firestones with 70% tread. The spare is near new…
