yo. just sold my motorbike, decided to get a car. mates got a corolla sx. hell of a fast car. name is jd. so i decided to burn him and get the same car. too bad I'm poor and decided to buy a cs version. its got 9 months rego and i got it for 700 bucks. wen i got it, it looked crap but after spending 300 bucks on it, this is what ive come up with. 300 including the system (H) planning to do a 20v silvertop conversion. when i get the papers. like the mechanic said, paper talks. guess I'm not gonna be talking for a while . lol oh yea, its a carby. TUNED CARBY. but still, a carby and don't forget the shoes :P

hey gues about 2 months ago i bought a corolla ke55 coupe been a bit lazy but i finally got some pictures had some dramas here they are the resistor to the coil was stuffing up > fixed i didnt have high beams the combination switch was screwed got another one and the parks wouldnt come on with it so riped the both apart and made 1 out of 2 not the high beams wont go off > working progress no rear tyres left > fixed the horn would come on by it self when you turned > car fixed it blown head gasket > on order alternator over charging > getting fixed at work key barrel stuffed > fixed got a new one plan for my ke 55 coupe rust removal 4 …

Hey all , I volounteer at a youth organization called Car 26, project aimed to get kids of the streets and teach them about cars and how to work on them. anyhoo we got donated a ke30 from a lady whos mother passed away, i bought it of the group and now it my project car. Its a 1977 ke30 , done 96,00 genuine ks , i have the original reciepts , log books and warranty cards for the car along with a comprehensive service record. it has a few dings here and there but not for long. It was a 3k auto but i have recently converted it to a 2t engine with a 5 speed box that i got of a mate with a few celicas. runs good as , still got abit to go though.

Mate brought this off a user on here few weeks back... real tidy wee KE70 Today we made a few cuts in the coils to get this ride height... What ya think? It is getting 17" mags tomorrow so if anyone is keen to buy the mags in the pic PM me

gday guys, i thought id share some photos of getting my car back from the painters. Ive put some of the braking parts back on and the engine will be going back in this weekend. Ive got a s15 sr20de+t. Commodore brakes and commodore diff with mini spool. Ive changed the fuel lines and changed all of the brake lines. The interior will also going back in this weekend. when the engine is put back in this weekend i will post more pics. edit: gday ive removed some photos of my car and added some of the engine in and my boot lining 95% done and excuse the dirty boot everything gets stuck in the boot carpet. hope you like hope u like..

A selection of old toyotas i have owned in the past in NZ 1st up is my old 1993 AE101 Levin 20v turbo I built this from scratch over 3yrs as it came a stock car from Japan, i was the 1st owner an this is how i sold it. Made covercar of a performance mag back home also was featured at the nationals etc. Heres the fun old toyota hacks ive owned Theres been other makes, but ive always been a toyota man! haha

Hi there, I'm Ben. People call me silly because I sold my yamaha R1 to get a KE20 2 door a fortnight ago. Lol. I have since brought a KE70 and 2 KE55 coupes (that I have now stripped). One of the KE55's my missus has claimed (the one in the backround of my photo), and I'm in the process of getting it registered. My mate bludger got me interested in these things. He has a yellow KE70 panel van. Little bit about my car: 4k 4 speed, locked diff, and the finest quailty super cheap export paint job lol. Looking forward to going on a cruise.

i cleaned my ke70 up today and is looking pretty good I'm happy with it i fixed a part of the rims up and got back mud flaps i gave it a wash not a polish still turned out ok there are no pics of interior but its all original with no tears it has 97 000 kms on the clock now good little car for a first car any comments ??

Well for a Birthday present dad knows alot of people and the car was respray painted red, all dents pulled out, brand new bonnet, cleaned interior, IVE PUT A 6" CANNON on lol looks good i think, replaced the badges to the newly modern toyota badge and tryed on my wheels that have been sitting around Next is its going in for an illegal black tint, looking for 17" black rims with chrome lip, wll lower it about 2" and a sunroof, then ill start on the interior and i already have a 700w amp and 1300 w sub hooked upp went driving the other night and just some photos from out and about let me know what u think

Well where do i start ?, at the beginning i guess. I purchased this 69 KE10 some 12 years ago as a stock little car powered by a 3K and backed by a 2 speed auto. I gave it to my dad to use as a work hack back then. As the years passed i changed it to a manual, put a KE25 front end in it, added Mazda 323 front struts and brakes, had a full chrome molley cage fitted and had a JTS built 4k installed running twin 40ml Webers. Then i got married, got a mortgage and this project got shelved. Picked up a neat 1990 AE92 5 speed Seca CS Spirit for the missus this evening. It is red, stock as with a 4AFC with 230,000 kays on it. It is very nice to drive. She's stoked and already has fallen in love with it. Needs a little few minor touch ups and a good detail. Will get some pics up soon.

hey have had my KE55 for about 2 months now its great all original and pretty clean. it has the stock 4K still in it its reliable and good but i need somthing with a little more kick and somthing that will get the wheels to spin :-). I'm tossing between a SR20 DE or a N/A 13 bridgy until i get my full lic then will turbo what ever i decide to put in the car. whats better? whats an easier conversion? and info is apreciated. cheers

Hey guys, thought I'd post my rolla up here for some feedback and to get to now a few members. Well I swapped my r31 skyline for 2 ke70's and a ca18det package. 1 rolla had rego and the other was defected to regency( which the previous owner thought he would tell me it was defected after the trade). The one with rego has a 4k which the previous owner reckons it had a port and polish, 20 though shaven of the head and a few other things. Had the usual spark plug o'ring oil leak and sump leak. Hey there just about finished me ke55 project, it got a 400 chev with a tunnel ram and twin carbs, gearbox is a 3 speed t400, also a 9in diff billet axels, 4 link rear end, rear end is tubbed fitting the 17x12.5 fr Simmons with 315 tyre's, it has full 6 point roll cage sheet metal seats and sheet metal dash with autometer gauges and carbon fiber b&m shifter, porshe 4 spot front brakes and xf falcon rear, it got a complete ke30 front and ke 30 taillights and rear bar I think they are a better shape, car is in for paint now will put picks up soon, only have build shots at the moment, can't wait to drive it

So this is my new 1982 KE70. 4k 4spd manual 16' xxr's Rolled guards Flute pipes Plans for it are to clean up the interior, to a nice black style. Then work on a few little things and just maintain it for a while.

I'm kinda new to here been lurking a bit tho but anyway here is my rolla i picked up today its a 1977 ke30 with 3k and auto the body is in really good condition with the exeption of the rear passenger door that has a big dent and the drivers guard has a small patch of rust (only rust i have found in the car) plus a few little dents as is to be expected the interior is in near overrated condition which i havnt found a fault yet seats and door trims are not ripped and vinyl not coming apart or faded now for the plans: i want to keep it as original looking as possible with just a respray, lower it but keep it legal and sit it on a set of 14 inch steel rims off a coro…

Hey all, havn't really posted before but never had a reason to until now. Been looking for a classic example for about 8 months, so it wasn't luck, just about time. My dad found it on carsales 5 mins after he put the add up, so i had to snap it up. Its an 80 model ke55 all original (except for stereo), couldn't find any rust on the entire shell. Running gear in perfect condition, the only problem i can think of is faulty clusters, ie speed guage is zero'd at 20km/h

This is my new baby. He's a 1975 ke36 got around 380,000ks on the clock and isn't coming along too bad. Has a 4k with a k40 manual and fairly standard driveline. Put a new battery, the firehawks and hotwires on it as well as changing the locked diff to a standard borgy last weekend. It's history past 12 months ago is a bit sketchy, all we've been able to figure past that is the remnants of signwriting from a panelbeater's in Toowoomba on the doors. I picked this oldie up back in March this year and has been in the garage ever since :-) This particular car I have got my hands on was featured in a Book Called �CARS� by Stephen Bayley in 2009. The car has been stored in a garage at the parents house of the middle aged gentleman I purchased it off since 1995. It only came out in 2009 when it was taken for its photo shoot. Unfortunately like any old Toyota its suffering from a bit of neglect and tin worm and is in need of a restoration. After spending nearly 16 years in a garage has helped it survive.

hi guys, my name's declan and this is my fourth corolla (3rd xe7x). i've wanted a panelvan since before i got my license, and i finally own one! it's currently stock as a rock with original tape player and all. interior wise it has seats out of an AE71 spirit and a Luisi steering wheel. it's sporting some MA61s right now which i think i'll keep for a while. anyway, here's a pic. i'm going to be keeping this one for a very long time! let me know what you all think. also, i need an AE71 panelvan rear bar desperately as i don't have one. please PM me if you have one!

Hello. Haven't really posted much on here, only in the wanting to buy section once or twice and thought it was about time to make a post about my rolla.
