ok well i brought this car over a year ago as a dead stocker, but that didn't last for long as it sat a week or 2 ago i found a 3tgte turbo and manifold with every thing from a blow thru turbo setup so i sniveled it up and sold the twin solex's what were on there. i brought some long sigma lower control arms and decided whilst i was putting them in i would upgrade my sway bar and put the one out of my first late ke55 coupe parts car along with the nolethene bushes it come with. also thought why not drop the king springs and pedders shocks out of my white car into it while I'm there and the new wheel bearings and pads from the coupe not finished just ye…

"Oh no not another thread", Yes its me again. This is my Datsun 1200 ute thats has more Toyota parts than Datsun. Upgraded to a 4AGE 20V, T50 Box and Microtech all from my 2 door KE30 and it already had KE30 front struts, LCA, Tie rod ends and steering arms. More pics as i go, but this was 4 hours work so far including pulling out the old engine. Engine mounts on the Xmember will be next and by the looks of it its going to take abit of fabrication work.

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the forums, only made a couple of posts so far....thought I might share my rolla with everyone and see if anyone has any "cheap" suggestions on what I could do to improve the look of her  Nothing too costly, I've intentionally avoided replacing the wheels because I don't want to over-invest on the car, I just want to make it look as good as it can for a reasonable price. I mean, if someones got some alloys to suit with decent rubber they'd like to get rid of under $100 I'm interested but I doubt thats gonna happen right  Atm I'm looking at getting new wiper arms as one needs replacing anyway....otherwise its pretty stock, on…

Hi! I am Jam Samonte.. Thanks to the Rolla Moderators for accepting my membership and I'm proud to be ONE of the newest member of the ROLLA CLUB.. I am from the PHILIPPINES and I have this 1976 COROLLA 2dr U.S. Version which I have just restored after a year and 4 months! I bought the 1976 TE31 (U.S. Version of the KE3O at Clark Air Base, Angeles City the former U.S. Military Base) from a 64 year old man who lives in the City. The car was near to obselecence when I bought it (general body repair and re-painting needed was needed plus major items like the bumpers/ grilles were gone) but did'nt lose hope.. (Patience and a lot of work was all I need). Good thi…

Thought Id post my POS rust bucket corolla that I'm going to get working on soon I guess... this 79 sedan deluxe was my aunts she bought a parts car and this came with it, so its been sitting in the woods for about 3 or 4 years so I asked if I could have it and she said yea. and I have a Datsun 280zx(S130 in japan I think, I'm not sure if Australia got them, I know yall have Nissan Z31s which is what my daily driver is.) turbo parts car, so I have an idea of swaping the l28et engine from the 280 into the corolla. it should fit, not well but fit, ive seen tighter swaps but this one comes close. I'm pretty good at making stuff with wood so I was thinking about mak…

Hey Hey, Well i finally got my Ke10 home today. 1st things 1st, RUST has a bit but luckily my uncle is Welder by trade and has a MIG and TIG setup at his joint so it doesn't worry me to much. No chassis rust just panels and front sills. No rust around the fuel filler which is good. Some parts are missing but most of the main parts are there. Des :bash:

Hi guys, just showing off my KE17... I've had it for about 8 months now, driving it on and off and fixing issues as they come up. I've got money saved up to do a restoration/mods... its just a matter of time. There are very few of these things up in the northern hemisphere, VERY hard to find parts. As it sits now it has 90k miles on it, the body is great with a paint job that looks perfect from 10 feet and just a couple little bubbles of rust, but mechanically its a bit tired. The seats are a pretty wasted but the door cards, headliner, and dash are overrated. I'm unsure at this point of future plans. I think at this point I'm leaning towards a 4k+5spd and some s…

Hey guy's pretty new to these forums as I just recently brought a AE82 1986 SECA. I brought it from my dads friend who owns Toyo Spares / Wreckers up sort of near lilydale. Brought the car for $3k, which included 7 months rego + name transfer fee's, RWC and everything that needed to be done for that (new windscreen, front right light, wipers + wiper washers etc) Engine has been reconditioned and had $2.5k spent on it... currently has 15,000km on it the body has 269,000km. Everything's in pretty good condition usual rust in the usual spots no dints or scratches, straight body. Usual so so... Once i got it around 1 week ago i gave it a good wash and wax, instal…

Got another Courier; this one's an '81, has 108,000mi on the clock, mazda 2.0, 5 speed with a FRIED clutch. ABSOf@$kINGLUTELY no floors. The cab is so rusty the floor is gone, and there's nothing much left for the door hinges to bolt to. I got really wet driving it to work in the rain the first day. Why? He wanted $100usd for it, then told me I could instal a new p/s pump on his '74 chevy 350 and he would GIVE it to me. So it cost me 2 hrs labor, a $35 clutch plat I had leftover from Courier mk. II and a weber 32/36 carb I had in the shed due to the nikki leaking, I had to rebuild the idler arm, and I had a blowout. So those and the rego cost me about $150usd. It get…
