New to the site here, want to apologize for my first few posts, I guess they weren't very good. Anyways, my name is Luke and I'm 25 years old. I'm from Spokane Washington in the USA. I have a ke15 Corolla Sprinter that I acquired from my friends parents. My Friend passed away a little while ago and his parents thought that he would have wanted me to have the sprinter so they gave it to me. I am working on building this car the way he would have built it. I plan on doing a 4A-GE Blacktop engine swap with hopefully a W55 transmission, but I may have to deal with a T50 for a little while. figured i'd throw my rig up here had an AE86 but it was hard to be "individual" so i turfed that and went back to my first love being the 70 :D used a lot of parts out of the 86 to build a reasonable package to start off with. it had coilovers, LSD, XR4's and MKII's and powered by a JDM 16v, T50, extractors and zorst. not long after being finished a JDM front end came up so i had to have that, included lights, grill and the lower beaver panel. i threw on some chrome T18 bumpers to complete the look. got bored with that pretty quick so its been off the road now for a while getting a CA18DET :lol: pretty much wanted to kee pthe old school look and feel …

Ok, the chaos begins, today I parked project Tofu (the new minter) in the backyard, in the next week or so I'll clear up the little bits I feel are needed........ Eg. Front left indicator not working and cracked: new bulb, replace casing/lense. Rear right indicator cracked (still working) will replace lense. Upgrade headlights for a giggle. Bit of a clean up, then daily duties until I finish gathering parts for conversion #1....... :y: Let it be known, this project will take time, it's on a very limited finacial input, but will get there....... Hey guyz I'm Kathrynna aka RaLLyKaTTy I from Ballarat. I race with the Ballarat Light Car Club and the car i race with is a Corolla Twin cam 16 4age 1986 hatchback. I love it! It kicks serious ass! I been racing it for about 2 years or more not sure... Dad did stuff to the engine not sure but its for full roll cage everything has been taken out like carpet lining most the dash no back seat and its got electric water pump recently put in... I have 4 sponsors Auto Spares, Auto Hush Mufflers, Market St tyres and Mechanical and R & J Batteries. Dad does most of the work too it. I don't have any pics of the engine only the outside of it :)

Hi all, I just recently purchased an unregistered 1981 Corolla KE55 Sedan for $300 with only 264,000 k's. In pretty good condition, paint needs a bit of work but it's definately a work in progress. At the moment it is running just the standard 4K-C engine and 4sp gearbox. Hoping to maybe upgrade to a 2TG engine and upgrade to a 5sp T50 gearbox. I've heard this is the most common conversion...but unfortunately can't do all this until i get off my P plates (stupid new laws!). Fisher and myself have decided to have a little fun with an AE71 Spirit. Firstly made possible by Fisher getting another daily (RA40 Celica). The stripping has been done, with the cleaning still happening (got to love getting rid of lovely fur and glue :P) and also a few more electrical wires and bolts to be taken out, but we would rather take our time on that side. The motor will be a 2TG, which has plans for a full rebuild with porting, shaving, racing cams, fuel injection and a supercharger. So... I was having a couple of beverages with this german backpacker the other day, and, long story short, she gave me her car. Its a 1980 Mazda 929. 2 litre, 5 speed, Aircon. Grotesquely overweight, and more akin to driving a lounge room than a car.... with period correct brownest of brown interior, resplendent in crushed velvety stuff (striped and pleated) and laminex woodgrain. Hey, found this forum and thought id share some pics of my 1.6L beast. The car i bought about a month ago, a 1990 SX Hatch, it was it great condition with only minor attention needed. Because Teddy is too slack thought I would post up some pictures of his white KE70.. Before he got his licence it had a stock 4K in it and he had a very quick and dodgy respray done on it. He later on got some nice mag wheels for it and fitted a slightly worked 4K with 3K largeport head / cam / downdraft weber etc. Also fitted extractors and exhaust.. Then later on he picked up twin carbs for it and they went on. Over the years though the rust has begun to break though the paint so I have started patching bits here and there when he comes up to work on the blue car.. Some pictures of it in its former glory..

hey guys i recently brought about a month ago a white ke15 sprinter ke15 sprinter for a new project car. this thing was pretty much stock with a burnt out interior and that someone had jsut lowered. ive now just raised it up and just wondering how much one of these things is worth as I'm might be going an engine conversion. the only rust on it is a tiny hole in the firewall and i a hole in the top left guard the size of a pin hole. other than that its just surface which is getting fixed now. also in a couple of months once registered and its grown on me a bit more ill be putting a 4g63 engine which my mate is giving me for nothing with a turbo setup just becuase he wants …

Hey all, Just joined cause I got given a CS 5speed corolla today. I think its a 1982 model, unsure though. Its a rear-wheel drive and is in ok nick. Has some major rust in the spare wheel pan though, and a bit from spilt fuel around the filler. not sure why I'm posting this here, but I thought it might make good descussion as what can be done to it, also needs new interior, and engine won't start (think its the battery, and lack of any motion lotion).. Well i have gotten my hands on a SX hatch, which i am already in love with and have already throw some money at it. But i still feel the urge to go further. I don't want it to look like the car is a tai prossie and i want to keep it off the attention from our beloved police force. The car already has - 17" Rims - Been dropped and wheels tucked - 3.5" Stainless steel cannon Right now, it still turns heads and it is such a laugh to drive but i just want to custom it slightly. ok guys ill get some pics up soon, but my uncle gave me a 1980 4 door ke 55 for chirstmas it is faded red (custom lol) has it's fair share of cancer and dents (nothing irrepareble but) everything is stock as at the moment.. i was just up for some ideas, i have a spare FWD smallport 4age that i was gonna put in it, and i just want some recommendations for waht dif i should use, and waht brakes i should use both front and rear, keep in mind this is not going to be worked jus thte stock 4age in there... so waht should i use?? i was gonna flipp the rear leaf springs, but what drum brakes can i use that will be efficent???or what else can i do for the rear?? front …

Hey. I bought this little Corolla two years ago when I first got my P's. It's done 352k+ k's but it's still going. I'm currently using it for pizza deliveries and it's treated me well, but I was thinking of changing a few things or even the car... It's a 4 speed as well so it's tends to be quite noisy when down shifting and around 80km/h. I was thinking of either getting it panelbeated and getting rid of the rust and painting it. I also wanted to put one of those 4A-GE engines in it as I've read around these forums a lot that they're pretty good. I bought this 1970 KE 11 about 7 years ago from the original owner. Only had about 49,000 miles its now done 53,000, it came with original purchase papers, owners manuals and sales brochure. The car had spent its whole life at the same address always garaged. Except for cleaning the engine bay, repainting the wheels and adding the Castrol Green stripes the car is pretty much as i bought it. Except for a small repair to the left rear quarter all the paint is original so to is all the interior. In all my time playing with KE1# series Corollas i have never seen a cleaner more original one!! :lol:
