Bought a new KE70 today. Its beige with late model front. Its got a locker, cut springs, tacho dash and twin upswept tip :D Oh and the best part hardly any rust, just a little bit in the tyre well. Paid 400 for it and it came with loads of stockys and tyres. A few hard old 155s to help the 4K slide ;) Few problems are cracked windscreen and a pretty mangled r/h/f guard. but ive got the parts to replace these on my old sev. Plans for it are firstly tidy it up and do a bit of suspension work, then either my 4K Turbs setup or a 16v. Ill get pics up tomorrow, when i get it home.

Hey everyone, I've been working on my ke55 for a few months and this is what I've come up with.... It's got a Garrett t25, I ported the head, done a full rebuild, front mount + stainless pipes, full stainless 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust, electric ignition got a few other bits and pieces. I just have to do fuel pump, surge tank, regulator and hook the gas up and she will be ready for dyno. Here are some pics let me know what you think.

Ok ............ here it goes. The original owner was a farmer somewhere in Austrailia. He at some point had sold it to a female college student, who didn't like the car after buying it and sold it to the previous owner's friend of 30 plus years. Well, I started this project a little while ago after picking up a rust-free shell from Trendact. Bloody cheap too. It had NO interior except the dash and steering wheel and door trims. My first plan was to throw a 4age at it. But finances stood in the way of that. Then I was going to freshwn up the 4k (needed a rebuild anyway). But then I found a nice 5k to wack in it. I've been told that it's had a stage 2 cam thrown in, and some head work done. I've already change the box to a k50. I'm going to make a complete custom boot install. And of course a respray. Just got my hands on a ke11 rolla on the (07/07/07.....might be lucky :y: ), this is my first rolla build with plans to turn it into a daily/hillclimb with a ca18de. Haven't done a whole yet just sussing the body work, housing the motor and box and getting all the parts together at the moment. I ended up using a ke55 tunnel, it hosts the box nicely with it out the car. Not to sure on how to go about making engine mount templates, any ideas are appriciated i would concider anything. will have pics up shortly keep an eye out James

i recently had a AE82 rollla come into my possesion it's just my run around car until i get my commodore back on the road and wen it does i'm gunna pull the corolla off and do some mods to it, major one is an engine conversion from the stock 4ac to the 4age and was wondering the costs involveds in engine purchase and all parts needed the current box is a 5 speed manual I'm guessing i don't need to do any swapping for that

Ive does the following things to it: Rims, Stereo, Steering Wheel, BlackWidow Alarm/Emobliser, Centeral Locking Kit, Chrome Wheel Nuts with 4 Lock Nuts, Red Leather Gear Knob and Boot, Seat Covers, Floor Matts, Debadged and Black Grill. Bought this one on Ebay last week. Was sold new at Canberra Toyota back in 1977 and traded last month on a new 2007 Corolla. Its a one owner 5 speed with air con that works great and its only done 110,000kms. The bonus was when the car turned up last night i checked the engine to see if it was the original 3K and discovered it was a 5K. I'll post more pics after it get the new wheels and suspension job. Have a set of 14x7 Rebel Wheels, lowered King front springs and new struts as well as re set rear leaf springs, a down draft webber, extractors and sports exhaust all waiting to go on.

Well after months of searching for my first car, i have found it!!! It's a very rusty Corolla Liftback, but I love it with the rust included!!!. It's a great car even if the rust covers all the back part of the car :2thumbs:. One of my dads mates had this just sitting on his back lawn so i decided to buy it for $50 (not the best photo) The only thing really wrong with it was just the outside and inside of the car. All the engine and gearbox and stuff worked fine and was in good condition. Since my dads a panel beater he gave it a respray so the white wouldn't look as dull and put new tires and rims on it. After that the interior needed a cleanup and new seats were needed. We also tinted the windows, put a pioneer DEH-P3950MP head unit in and 2 pioneer front speakers. Well i sold my black 55, so i thought i would post my new one up( not really new had it for a while) Its a stock 4kc and was a auto but i changed it to a 5 speed. Hey, just got this AE71 wagon for $250 got it for the 4ac that will go into the other ae71 wagon (my mothers) so be left with a AE71 manual wagon needing a motor smile.gif body is ok bit of rust in usual spots - bonnet, behind wheel arches in the back, and little bit in the door and around the windows- nothing major, interior is all there window support on RHR is f@$ked usual rusting out it seems. so motor will come out go into the other wagon then I'm left with a wagon to play with it seems smile.gif time for a 4age i say. the twins !

my next project is goin to b a te72 with a 3t-gteu in it with the worx i plan to drift it cause my old t-18 was so sick i could do the best compression lockies in it... it was incredible i member this 1 time i put it into 1st at 140klicks and left the clutch out till it stoped just to c if i could blow the box and no go it loved it i had already done so many compressionies in it and it neva faild the thing is i tryd to do a 1st gear compression in another te72 and it crunch i think my t18 was speacial... then i sold it to a mate cause i had inspired him to love rollas and he wrote it off rallyin in the hills.. my poor baby. i could get 100ks in 2nd gear in that thing but …

i have this 92 holden nova i got a while ago. the plan is to rego it for daily duties before i get to involved with the ke25. it is pretty neat, no rust, faded paint. i have replaced the drivers door, and a front corner light. need to match up the paint on the new door. maybe a respray in the original colour later. the interior is good, although dirty, think it should come up good with a steam clean. it is an auto 4afe. the bottom end of the engine is seized so i have to either rebuild or replace it. just going to leave it 4afe and auto. i only want it to be a cheap, reliable, economical driver. no conversions. now i have a problem. my shed hasn't got any dec…

putting these webers on the ute next week along with a worked 4k alloy head which has been ported/polished/flowed and cc,s, followed by a 40/80 cam.... hopefully this will make a lot of difference see pics before you all ask the question "YES" it is a toyota (toyota publica) with 4k engine and 4 speed box (also comes with 5 speed)

this was an abandend project, he went cold on racing cars, and found sand boarding more enjoying :( . this is where i steped in well this is what the mighty beast looked like when i brought it home. along with all the asorted s**t that you get when cleaning out someone elses shed. will keep you all updated with progress as it happens. hey guys, really bored so I'm jsut chucking up new new ke, i got it for 600 bucks with 6 months rego, its manual, and has only the tiniest bit of rust in the rear wheel arches. so far all the only parts ive chucked in due to lack of effort, are excel g shocks and falcon springs in the rear. oh and a pair of what i think are ssr superfins, not too sure maybe someone can confirm? all i no is theyre sum random ghey offset. ive got big plans to turn it into a te71, jdm ftw lol.. so I'm after, chrome bumpers, quad headlights, and fender mirrors, if uve got any or all of these please pm me or jsut post in here ! thanks. piks..

So named because of the dozen or so little f@$kers Kristy had to pick off of me. It's a 1962 DODGE Sweptline D200 3/4 ton longbed pickup. I got this because.......; a) I have always loved the lines of the Sweptline Dodges ('61-'71), b) The B3000 is too light for all the towing I do, c) Kristy and I will be moving to Washinton state in a year or so and the B3000 is WAY too light to pull the cars, moving trailer and assorted bullshit the 2,000 miles. Hello Rollaclub people, see a few familiar names on here! Thought I'd register and get my foot in the door. This is my Daihatsu Charmant A35, I'm sure you'll be familiar with the name as in terms of parts it is mechanically identical to the KE70. It has a 4K engine and 5 speed manual box just the same, it just looks different. They're a pretty obscure car worldwide, Daihatsu marketed it as an executive car back in the early 80s and as expected didn't really sell many. They faded into obscurity quite fast!
