yesterday i acquired a ke25, it is a 73 deluxe auto. it came as a rolling shell with no motor or box. the shell is pretty much rust free, with the only rust i've found being in the bottoms of the front guards and a bit on one side under the radiator support panel. the bottom of the doors and rear guards are excellent rustwise. needs a bit of panelbeating and a paintjob. the interior is pretty good. needs a hood liner, dashtop, and carpet. otherwise it is pretty overrated. anyway here's some pics:

This is my ke20. It used to be my wifes car until she got hit by a drunk driver about 14 years ago and said she wanted somehting a bit more substantial. I was driving a v8 commodore at the time so she got that. And her little mustard ke20 was mine. Pulled it apart and did a full body rebuild, replaced the suspension ( kyb gas front and Tokico rear ) and brakes, and converted from a 3k and toyoglide to a mild rebuilt jap import 5k ( full balance, mild cam, HD valve springs with new valves ) and an electronic dizzy. I've been meaning to put this up for months (since Australia Day) I had a BBQ at mine for Aus Day/JJJ hottest 100. Imagine; Snags, nice sunny day, 14m water slide and some cold drinks straight from a ke70 Rolla Esky! I started with a wreck I got for nix a few years back, cut it in half... I then Grabbed a diff from a ke30 and welded it directly to the Chassis rails, got rid of the bump stops, no need for them. Painted it in Australian colours (can job + 20mins = dodgey job) but on strict time schedule. Filled it out with 140mm thick Industrial insulation used in cool rooms, and a Stainless steel floor. Well I have decided to put my 5k motor into the ke20. But first things first, I have taken it down to get reconditioned. I'm getting it bored out and fitted with flat top pistons if available seeing that the 5k motors came with scalloped out pistons because the combustion chamber is in the piston rather then the head, so this will up the compression. Also i'm getting a mild cam put in it and getting it ported and polished and bigger valves if possible. The guy said the motor will be ready to pick up by the end of the month. hey guys, I bought this vehicle a while back, then went through 2 gearbox's and a diff and decided i didn't want anything to do with it, so sold it to a friend, he then repaired all the things i had fooked and i bought it back, haha strange i know, but anyway, this is it, all standard bar the stuff i did today, which was lower it and put a set of trx rims on.

Ok guys ive started the rebuild on my ke11. Due to my limited budet (saving for a house :P ) ive decided to start on the interior for now. Here are the pics of the new door panels i cut out at work today in my spare time. I still havnt decided what material to re trim in, but due to this car being my daily driver ive just put the panel on bare for now. This is my first good looking Corolla after owning two before it. I have got hold of a 4AGE and celica box, I just gotta keep savn for suspension upgrades, brake upgrades, driveline etc.

bought this KE30 for $700 about 3 weeks ago. Since then ive replaced the front bumper with a straighter one. Got new balljoints in front, new rear wheel bearings, and a wheel alignment. Replaced the big truck wheel with a not so big one. put in crack free lights, with perfect chrome trimming. Put chrome triming off a KE55 along the window bits. Took the but ugly seat covers off and left standard seats how are. Plan on lowering it 1 1/2 inches, better seats in front, swap out 3k for a 4 or 5k, bigger exhaust, CD player, and a boot install. here is pics as it sits now, sorry for shit pics, camera not working so had to use phone.

Bought this car off a mate for $1500, Its got a rebuilt 4age motor just put in.. Interior is in pretty good nick... Its gonna be standard for a bit but there was quite a list of things to do on the car... Today my KE10 which i've owned for the last 11 years has found a new home. The new owner certainly proved himself to be a worthy owner of a classic Japanese car, turning up in a stunning little Mazda 1300. G'day all.. Bought an EA Falcon off a forum member for a bargain price last week, took delivery of it on Friday night.. its my boonger and I love it ;). As it sits, it runs the 3.9L powerhouse (!), three speed auto (should have put oil in it for the trip home) and an unknown ratio diff. Its 'chardonnay' in colour, complete with faded paint! Interiors great except for a few little bits and pieces, which I'll replace sooner rather than later.. Plans I plan on tidying up the interior by getting another centre console (this ones rooted, chronic plastic cancer), seat covers and floor mats. this is my 1970 ke11 bought it about 12 months ago, when i first bought it, it was stock and had the 12" stellies and was one owner with its origional 3k motor and weak 4 speed i left it standard for about 4 months and drove it around but got sick of how slow and stock it was so first i put 13x6 mags on it heres a pic then i decided a 4kc motor and 5 speed gear box would make it go better so we fitted one and now it goes way better and i realised that the drums were a little under sized so i fitted ke38 discs on the front pics of motor it then had a respray in the origional whate and all dents were removed and in the process no rust was found at all combining…

Yes it's a cooner/padock basher/rally thrasher or whattever you want to call it. It's straight, runs very well, doesn't leak oil or water, however is full of rust. It is registerable in SA. Hey guys i own a auto ke70 and was thinking is it worth it to change to a manual or just sell it and buy a manual ke-70? Its got some rust e.g behind the fuel cap, in the boot seal area.. Do you reckon i should pursue in fixing this up or look for a cleaner ke70. Any help would be good and some pointers on what i should pay attention on the car first would be appreciated because i'm kinda new to all of this.I'll post pics soon

recently bought a 1 owner 1982 ke70, pretty good condition. it has a few bits of surface rust here and there but no big rust patches. Only thing that is wrong with it is the clear coat is fading off on the bonnet , bootlid and a little bit on the roof. The car has done 260 000k's and it's the original engine, gave it a service the other day and it's gutless as hell but cheap on fuel ;) hopefully 1 day it will get a new paint job and mild 4age conversion with the stuff thats in my ae71 paddock basher. 81 ke70 5 speed, plans, coil overs front, chopped falcons and sierra shocks rear. 4agze, t50. welded diff. and drive it. if anyone has any parts such as cross memebers, motors or anything and live on or near the sunshine coast ill snap them up. ill try to keep everyone updated on the progress, so far ive got it registered and mod plated for the 2 seats sprayed the boot black lowered the back and will do the front tomorrow. found a pair of bucket seats for it (bride) bought a boss for an oldschool steerer i got off rollaandy put some nice wheels on it from andy.

I've decided to bite the bullet and put the Corolla on the road since I've managed to put yet another ding on the Century and I'm sick of it getting paint chips, scratches, and general trashedupery etc etc. SO while this isn't a project thread per se, I will probably include some before, current and after shots etc, but will also be asking general questions. First one is who has any spare headlight and indicator relays I could borrow to try and determine why the blinkers/hazards/headlights aren't working. Globes are all fine, I can hear the relay for the blinkers go nuts under the dash, but no lighty lighty. With the headlights, they don't come on Low/High b…

hay guys I'm building up a ke70 (daily drifter) and am wondering what kind of suspension setup and brake convo i will need to keep it road legal I'm planing around 150kw at the wheels. from research i have found that RA60 struts bolt in and the brakes are much larger and vented. but with the ke70 lower control arm you end up with a positive camber. now apparently by using a Sigma lower control arm it changes produces a -4 degree camber (is this legal) which should be pretty good. just wanted to know if anyone has performed this conversion before and can confirm it fits well? i don't mind a bit of chopping here and there as I'm a sheety?? any help? cheers
