  1. Pretty sure, I remember "Philbey" saying, ke30 passengers side mount was a minor lift. It was a long time ago though. How's the setup going?
  2. Lol thread bump. Congratulations on the new power figure guys!! Definitely makes it worth all the effort. One of the more powerful N/A K's about! Wait what new power figure?!?!
  3. Fark dude that sucks!!!!! I remember in '05 when visiting Tas, asking my mates old man, how hard it was to get his blown a15 morrie engineered. He just gave me a blank stare and replied with "we don't have that bs in Tas." Times must have changed.
  4. I'm wondering much boost it's running to make those numbers. That's gotta limit it's reliability.
  5. Had a chat to the owner today. With the bits and pieces I've seen, no expense was spared when built in 2008. Pistons are ultra, ultra light. Looking to get it closer to an 8sec pass.
  6. Appears to be a jap spec 5k-j dizzy. My old one looked idenical. They were from a ke-74 wagon in Japan, they do have a better advance curve than a 5k-c dizzy. I'll see if I've got a part number at home for ya. Short of that i know who has it and may have a part number on the cap.
  7. F'ing impressive! Just goes to show, how over engineered the 2AZ actually is. 400fwhp N/A just shouldn't happen, i'd love to see that cylinder head. Gotta suck you have to go back to MS tuning for a little while though, VE tuning seems 10 fold quicker to get sorted.
  8. Yep, gently pull the rubber boot/seal off and you should see a wire retaining clip. Pull the clip out(be careful as the piston may slide out too) and you're gold.
  9. Now you've got stop and steer sorted. More boost?
  10. Pretty sure it's not "Tar" though, no holes in rear qtr for flares.
  11. Could only be in diagnostic mode with the two terminals bridged. That's how you check timing while it's running.
  12. Can't understand why this hasn't been picked up yet. Sealed or not fuel won't last that long, it still may not be the cause but I'd be completely draining the tank just to rule it out.
  13. Nope all standard K valve springs are 40lbs at the installed height. You should be fine as far as mixing springs.
  14. Thats a good power figure from one of them. I've seen them as low as 118rwkw Such a rad cruiser!!
  15. Haha no need to be sorry. I totally understand, between the old mans 1600, my rgv and countless mates engines it's been 3+yrs since my 11 has seen any boost!
  16. Get a chance to chuck that converter in? Sorry bust ya chops! I'm really keen to hear if the springs fixed your power issues.
  17. Can't believe I haven't spilled on what it owes me yet.
  18. Yeah, that's whats up. They are the ones to have IMO. Haha still got it, I'll never sell this one. I got it tttooooo cheap to replace, they(don't forget I bought 2) owe me $1,600 up to now!!! And I've done front tyre, new disks/pads, rebuilt rear master, levers, screen and chain & sprockets. I've ordered these but through the dunlop distributor. http://www.motorcycletyresplus.com.au/motorcycle-tyres/dunlop-sportmax-gpr-alpha-13-rear/ buying a pair as my rear tyre is f'ing old and a sports/tourer spec profile so lean angle is severely reduced. Will sell the Michelin pilot radial front as it's only got 1800km on it. Waiting on a pepsi sticker kit to arrive from Italy and my mate, I look after his 4agte is going to paint it for nothing. So just under $2,500 for a bike that as a mockup is worth around $8k!!! With another 90-95% complete bike that would cost around $4k to get to the same std.
  19. Oh yeah I had the forks redone too. Went one weight up with the oil and is so much better.
  20. Hey man, how's the Hog treating you? I seriously have no idea why harley owners snub the 500-750streets and sportsters. My 2nd cousin runs a 120hp S&S powered 48, it's off it's head!! Doesn't quite handle like the rgv but it is not all that far off with the wide rubber up front. Yeah I'm hoping I see some improvements, it's always felt pretty tired. I have genuine suzuki thin head gaskets coming but I wanna see what a std fresh ones like. I will need aftermarket chambers to get the most out of the comp and squish increase. And $800 could be better spent on the rolla.
  21. So this happened and all for $185, engine has little to no comp in the front cylinder. I'm putting it together std, it was reasonably quick before it broke a ring. So we'll see what it's like fresh.
  22. Get a phone ya bum!! Really sad news, RIP.
