now that i'm looking for a car (a corolla to be specific lol) i've been browsing to the tradingpost.com.au website quite often in the last 2-3 weeks. and i also bought a copy of the paper today. but guess what? i called to 5 people there today that was advertising their car, and they're all SOLD! is it because the corollas are so good that everyone got no trouble at all at selling? (at a reasonable price of course hehe) or is it just my bad luck? and also i don't see any corollas made before 1980 going to sale anywhere. how come? oh and i live in melbourne so i always set the state to VIC.. any opinion guys? deri (off-topic: why does my group on t…

We all know you eager driving enthusiasts are keen to get your mits on the latest release from the Forza Franchise. But, is there anything that’s marginally different about the latest version? You bet there is. It isn’t just the gameplay style, but everything from dirt roads to night time driving has been added to the latest incarnation of the award winning series. So how can the best driving simulator, get any better? Well, the game has changed its format. It isn’t aimed to be an improvement on the last game, more of a branch off. Using a tweaked engine, the guys at Turn10 Studios have figured how to incorporate an open-world style of play into the game. …

can anyone fill me in as to whats going on with the two other toyota forums...it seems one of the more prominent toyota forums is banning its members...whats with all the changes?? looks like this is going to be my new home... :D brad

Hey, I was just wondering what people are listening to at the moment... I'm listening to Mudvayne, ACDC and Metallica, how about yourself?

today i have chicken salad sandwichs made by my wife a can of coke and a pack of wini blue's. what do you have?

Here goes my story. Tonight I decided to go out for a cruise with my best friend Renee. So, we decide to head down to Glenelg and we went the back way through a suburb called West Beach. Well, i'm driving along and see something on the road and think "oh, its just a paper bag or something so it wont matter if i hit it". Well, I was damn wrong on that decision. I hit this so called paper bag at 60km/h and i hear a massive thud under the car, like a rock had hit under the car. So I pull over and check out the car and everything seemed fine and then went back to check on what I'd hit. To my suprise I'd just had my first encounter with a Tortoise that had …

So what is the worst engine you can remember either owning or seeing? I meen, there a few lemons out there, so lets hear it. Mabye it was unreliable? or mabye it was just slow? I'm gonna kick this off by listing the 'Starfire engine'. They were found in early model Commodores, Coronas and verious other vehicles, I just bought a corona with a Starfire engine (more like a startfire!). Its by far the slowest smokiest peice of dog shit ive ever driven, and it has a timing chain rattle that would give off the impression that its had a hand full of washers dropped down each bore. Absolute rubbish! :jamie:

"Three doors down", "nickleback", "seether", "Creed", and the one with the song thats constantly being played on the radio. Everytime they release a song i think "oh nicklebacks got a new single out" but noooo its another band! Can't anyone do anything origional these days, its no wonder that i never listen to the radio, its all the same crap songs released by bands that shouldnt even have deals let alone songs on radio. Meanwhile mad bands don't even get record deals!.

hahaha pwned

Currently Full of boredom! So thought i'd ask the question. What's your Wallpaper? Computer, Phone.. Anything! Mine currently

Hey guys, just returned home in a tow truck tonight and thought what other mishaps have we all had that we can laugh about etc: my night started tonight with a nice drive round town in my ke11, night was going well then was time to return home stopped at a red light the spring on my carb snapped just as the light went green and started revving the guts out of the 3k powerhouse... Must admit was a decent 3k launch but something to laugh about now I guess... Any one got a carb spring for a 3k in NSW lol jokes

i get home from work and my step mom tells me "well i was mowing and it ran out of gas, i filled it back up, topped up the oil, but then it wont start" so i go out and take a look...looks fine, nothing OBVIOUSLY wrong with it. it has spark and fuel...but its pulling too easy. no compression, this is bad as i just put on a new head gasket. so i pull it around front and pull the shroud and head. the intake valve is open. i spin the crank...it stays open. i think "f@$k bent valve f@$k f@$k f@$k" so i spin the valve....it spins true...wtf, not bent?....ok, maybe its just stuck? so i tap it with a screw driver hand.e. doesnt go back down....i'm getting a lil confu…
