Hey Guys, Bout time I put something up about this and got the ball rolling. As a few of you now know, Ben (Toy-Yoda) and I have been discussing doing a bit of a "cruise", but with a very different twist!! It has been illuded to a couple of times as the "how far will your old rolla make it cruise". My KE36 van copped the wrath of a rogue deer on Saturday morning on the way to Targa. Ran across in front of us at (THE SPEED LIMIT)... Impact carried the deer about 30m up the road, and it then skidded to a stop after a further 20m. Damage is extensive, but thankfully appears to be all above bumper height. Fingers crfossed the chassis rails are unaffected. Bambi totalled 3 driving lights, grille, drivers guard, headlight, bonnet, radiator and support panel, and thermo fan. (I haven't started pulling off bits to find what else is damaged) Believe it or not the bumper and front apron were not severely affected!! My next question... Does anyone have a 'fr…

Hey guys, My mate had his baby R32 GTS-4 (2dr single turbo 4wd) stolen Lastnight (Thursday/friday 24th/25th August) from Hobart. Its rough black with black 15in wheels, No bootspoiler, large primer/bog patch on passenger's rear 1/4guard. He is devastated, after only just replacing the engine and turbo, and driveshafts!! Hi all, I'm Stage Commander at Wilmot (behind Ulverstone), for Targa. I am struggling for numbers of reliable officials to do Time Card Recording, Line-up, Road Closure etc. I'm starting to get worried that we won't have enough officials in time :P The stage is Saturday 29th April, need to be there about 10am. motorkhana is on again this year Saturday 27th of january, the long weekend its at exeter, not to far for the launny fellas, its a good way to get started in motorsport, its in a grass paddock, you basically can't harm your car competing in it the basic requirements are that: you have seat belts that arnt freyed or ripped or so on your steering isnt too loose or sloopy you have a firm brake pedal that doesnt creap you have 2 accelerator springs and good fuel lines and thats about it, there is no helmet or fire exting required come along and have some fun, its pretty cheap aswell, you jsut get a cams day lisence and your entry fee …

hey guys I have been offered a 5spd ke70 wagon for parts as i need the diff for mine, $300 for the engine and gearbox or you can have the whole car for that with a broken diff and no windscreen, I haven't actually picked it up yet so I am not sure on body condition but i have been told that it runs like a charm

G'day everyone.. Does anybody know of any fairly cheap places to stay in launceston this weekend? My girlfriend and myself are heading to the monster trucks on Saturday and trying to find some good/cheap accomodation. Plenty of places are fully booked. can't really be bothered driving back to Burnie after we watch the monster trucks. Just thought someone might know of somewhere thanks. Cheers Mark.

Heya all, i need some advice on the problem i'm having with my KE36 panelvan. For a while now the rear right wheel has been locking spontaneously, the vehicle has seen a number of mechanics and the problem has not been diagnosed. I'm pretty sure its not the diff or the gearbox, and am leaning toward the issue being with the brakes, even though this has been checked out. Has anyone had experience with this issue? Does anyone know a good mechanic in the Hobart area for old corolla's? Cheers for the help.

On the way to town from Kingston on the Southern Outlet this morning I saw a red AE71 wagon sitting by itself in one of those little turnoffs. Was dumped on its guts with black stockies, little bit of wear and tear and, if my memory serves me well, the front bumper was a little untidy in the front right corner. Thought maybe it was stolen and dumped, as my mates Liberty was stolen, dumped and burnt out on the outlet a few months back. Just a warning and a heads up if someones looking for it. By the way! If it wasn't stolen but you just left it there, GO GET IT. Cars don't last long on the outlet! Little scummers will be all over it like herpes. Toby

Ok guys, sports compacts is on again soon at Tarmak. 18th of Nov,....so thats about 2.5 weeks away. I gunna take both my cars out hopefully, I'll race the mazda and my GF's is gunna race the rolla (still gotta teach her to do toe's :) ). I know NickZ is planning on running his v6 rolla, but who else is going to race????? entry last year was $45 for entry, insurance etc and $10 for an andra day licence, so for $55 + fuel its a great days fun. heres a couple of teaser pics I took last year.

Is anyone going to the race meet at baskerville raceway this weekend? Aussie cars are gonna be there, Me and my dad are going out to the track on Friday to make sure everything is right and to bedd in our new brake pads, I'll be going to the track in my rx7 on the sat and sun but if there are a few rollaclub folk going then I'll bring the rolla
