Soooo i'm back in another ke20. Most of you know this car already. engine; Head slightly ported and polished, lumpy cam, extractors, lightened flywheel, new valves, springs, pistons. pretty much everything was freshened up, the effort gone into the engine is awesome and it shows when driven. since getting it i have had another muffler installed as it was way to loud, lowered it and as of today had whitewalls put on. interior is pretty much overrated bar the drivers seat, and it seems the carby is on its way out. looking to go some sought of weber or something to get that extra bit of power its lacking. any advice would be fantastic.

First rolla, 84 ke70 highroof wagon. picked it up for $500 when i was 15 on the side of the road 5 houses from mine. was stock as rock and in pretty poo condition, faded blue and patches of primer, but did have a webber carby. Plans were to make it a nice cruiser without spending too much dosh. since i have owned it i have taken off the rear bumper, got rid of rust and gave it a $100 paintjob, found some nice wheels CHEAP (wantanabes/superlites), front sway bar and 1.5' lowering blocks from pedders, cut commo springs on the front and thats it. cheap, reliable, pimp cruiser/daily. future plans are to get a 4age, 4k is just not doing it for me anymore... reset…

so i spotted this panno sitting neglected at a petrol station, thought it was stolen and had been dumped. had a smashed window but looked like it was in decent condition so i left a note on it asking if they'd like to sell. few weeks later, the owner got in contact with me and a deal was struck and i got it towed back to my mates place the next day where we started to clean it up. to our surprise it came up exceptionally well. the back was full of jahova's witness propaganda and heaps of random shit. manky carpet and whatnot. it took a bit of work to get it running but it did run and drive quite well. the motor was a little smokey though, so i decided to pull it. …

hi everyone, my names Luke, i'm a 1st year apprentice chef so money is tight. my slanty set me back $250 and its my baby :) She had rust spots above both rear lights and in the rear guards. the interior is straight and free of rips but rather stained in places. all the electrics work apart from what i can only hop is a faulty fuse for my dash lights. so far i have fixed the rust in the boot with tac welds and fiber glass putty (money is real tight). i haven't bothered with the guards just yet. all in good time though. the dream is to keep some elements as stock as possible such as tint bumpers lights ect. but being young and it my first car it has to be slammed with he…

This post is dedicated to Box Corollas. (KE70/TE71/DX/L/GL/GLS,etc) I met this guy named Frank Oliver, he started the Box Toyota club in the 90's( not sure when can't think now on the top of my head.) The club ranges from box front, slant front, and lift back rear wheel drive Toyotas. The progression of the club is determined by the crowd it attracts and the passion they have for these cars. So far they have ventured to events around the Cape, even stretching up as far as Atlantis, Bredarsdorp, Ceres and Worcester. Members from all over the Cape have united, and the love for these cars are every growing. The club is ever growing, and is slowly starting to get …

So this is my new car, will be using it for daily duties and maybe a bit of fun on the side Not too exciting atm... Specs: stocko bigport Monroe gas shocks Pedders low springs (dunno what specs are?) cat back exhaust Its replacing my KE70; This had a worked 4k on twin dellortoes, coilovers, loud exhaust, the usual stuff. Made for a fun everyday car! So my plan for the AE82 is to make it a fun daily, because at the moment its crushing my soul :) Its approx 10-15km slower than the KE thru an 80km roundabout, and has a lot more body roll! So thats where I'll start. I'm thinking Good tyres, maybe re001 castor bushes…

Hi Guys, Have just started fixing this up so I'll keep updating as i go. All the good stuff done by previous owners, 20v silver top head, GZE bottom end, GT35r Turbo, Mr2 gearbox, custom driveshafts, intercooler and intake, Haltech E6K, etc... theres probably still a write up on it on here from the guy that built it. Anyway, its been sitting for a while so i've started working on the maintenance bits to make it streetable and reliable again. Crashed an EP82 last year so I'm stealing bits from that. The front struts were shagged but with little gentle pursuasion, the ep82 struts, which were less than 12 months old, fitted up nicely. The battery was …

Greetings. I hope this is the right section for this, I did not see an Introduction section, and I did look. My name is Pierce Ford, and I live in Richmond, Virginia, which is almost literally the other side of the world from most of you. I recently bought a 1969 Toyota Corolla Sprinter for 300$, which allegedly has only 320 ORIGINAL miles on it (Sorry, I don't know what that is in kilometers, lol!). Some pictures for you: When I first saw it: Into my garage: 1977 County Registration Sticker, LOL! I obviously have my work cut out for me, LOL! I'd appreciate some info as well, does anyone know of a forum based …

Some of ya'll may know me, been on the forums a while now and seeing as this isn't my full time daily any more i thought i might make a thread about it.. That and there is nothing on tv.. After finding more and more rust in the KE25 i had, i decided to scrap that and get back into an AE.. I bought this with a tired old 4ac, put up with it for about 2-3 months and when ae86dc went down for the weekend around october, I was bored so the 4age went in.. Basically I'm building it to get into these supersprints. Haven't got to one yet thats why all my pics are hardparked.. The grey and beige one (sam…

So a few mates and I have a stable of dungers we smash about in a paddock with, as you do. This is currently the cleanest of the group - for now. It's rocking a mad tight 300,000ks+ 3K... for some reason, not sure why. Locked diff. Bald tyres. Tow bar. TRD 80's rattle can paint job. And here is a couple of videos from a couple of khanacross events some of us went and had a play at, mainly just to slide about and have a laugh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zm9ysGD0nw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CS_vBQStPo Recently picked up another addition to the stable, a baby blue/moss KE70 wagon.

Hey guys, I thought Id start a build thread of my KE55. Was bought as a rusty old snotbox, but with a good interior, strong 4K, and moderately low kms for its age (159,000). Picked it up for a very nice price with 6 months registration. Originally the car was purchased as a daily, whilst My Soarer is reserved as a weekender. However, the rolla bug bit, and I have started to spend some decent coin on the beast. The project started with the intention of keeping it as a daily with some gimmicky traditional and JDM mods (220mm dildo shift knob, OMP deep dish wheel, 14" jellybeans). I left it at this for a while, with some decent 6x9s in spacers, and 4" splits in the …

so, i moved house the weekend just gone, 15-16 May. neither of us had any energy to attempt making our own dinner after spending all day loading and unloading crates, so we piled into the IS300 and took off in search of sustenance. being a completely new area for us, i decided to do some back-road touring to help familiarise myself with the area. i knew the major roads and roughly where i needed to be, so i turned one street early here, a couple late there, follow these tram tracks for a bit...drove past a KE26 4dr and a KE55 4dr directly opposite each other down a side street (the 26 was in worse condition to the one we had and the 55 was a spitting image for my partners…

You might remember that i was looking for an AE93 SX/GTi a few months ago, well i picked one up so may as well show it off a bit. It's a White Series 1 SX Seca which had 208xxx on the clock at time of purchase. Pretty much granny spec aside from an alpine headunit which may as well be dead, and rear muffler has been replaced at some point with a decent looking tip, no peashooters here XD. Anyway onto the pics, some featuring TroysRollaSX

Hi all i did have this topic somewhere else because i put it in the wrong spot so i decided to repost it here. This is the ke30 that i bought a few months ago for $20 I have stripped it down completely when i was living on the sunny coast and then moved back to toowoomba and me and a mate pulled the motor and box out, we straightened the radiator saport and painted the enginebay. I have also stripped the pain off the doors guard and boot lid and primed them ready to be painted but they wont get painted until the rest is ready to go.

i pick this 5k up cheap. ran it in ke55 for 3 months with a blown hg (pressurizing the coolant system and EPIC blowing smoke) while my warm 4k was being built. pulled like a school boy! i ran some serious thick engine oil/gearbox oil to try keep the smoke down. it kinda worked :lolcry:. its been sitting on the garage floor the past 5 months doing nothing so i was thinking of rebuilding her and selling it. trolling thru ebay, i found 2 5k gasket kits CHEAP!. ordered them in and they arvived today. as soon as i got home (around 6ish) i put the motor on the stand and started ripping her apart inspecting her. i started packing up my tools at 7:45 LOL! i had some trob…
