  1. so i spotted this panno sitting neglected at a petrol station, thought it was stolen and had been dumped. had a smashed window but looked like it was in decent condition so i left a note on it asking if they'd like to sell. few weeks later, the owner got in contact with me and a deal was struck and i got it towed back to my mates place the next day where we started to clean it up. to our surprise it came up exceptionally well. the back was full of jahova's witness propaganda and heaps of random shit. manky carpet and whatnot. it took a bit of work to get it running but it did run and drive quite well. the motor was a little smokey though, so i decided to pull it. …

Plans were to make it a nice cruiser without spending too much dosh. since i have owned it i have taken off the rear bumper, got rid of rust and gave it a $100 paintjob, found some nice wheels CHEAP (wantanabes/superlites), front sway bar and 1.5' lowering blocks from pedders, cut commo springs on the front and thats it. cheap, reliable, pimp cruiser/daily. future plans are to get a 4age, 4k is just not doing it for me anymore... reset…

Ive bought a Ke30 2 door sedan off a mate that is prestine condition with no rust at all and i must say its the cleanest most honest old rolla ive ever seen, so I'm happy to say shes the new girl in my life. Enjoy and stay tuned as i slowly mod this old girl, to my likeing ! First Mod, remove the bling 17,s and take her back to the 70's with the stock wheels and flapper white walls.

Soooo i'm back in another ke20. Most of you know this car already. engine; Head slightly ported and polished, lumpy cam, extractors, lightened flywheel, new valves, springs, pistons. pretty much everything was freshened up, the effort gone into the engine is awesome and it shows when driven. since getting it i have had another muffler installed as it was way to loud, lowered it and as of today had whitewalls put on. interior is pretty much overrated bar the drivers seat, and it seems the carby is on its way out. looking to go some sought of weber or something to get that extra bit of power its lacking. any advice would be fantastic.

So I've decided to start a new build thread for an AE71 Spirit I picked up for a measly $800. It was a fair travel to Taradale, 50kms South of Bendigo, thanks to Evan G for giving me a hand picking it up. She is red in colour, exterior is in alright condition has some rust in the usual places, righthand rear arch, and the boot. The paint could do with a cut and polish some minor paint damage on the front left gaurd, rust is starting to develop. Planning to just sand it back and give it a touch up so it's barely noticeable. Also the front stone tray has a fair amount of stone damage too, so I plan to pull the panel off and repaint it. The front bumper is a bit warped t…

Hey, my name is Adrian, I'm a mechanic from Melton and I like KE70's lol. At the moment it's a stock 4k with a straight through exhaust to massive chrome cannon LOL, it's also a 5 speed. I've procured a 1JZ and I'm sourcing a gt35 to start off with and we'll see where I go from there. (I don't want to use the twins setup.) Also got a bunch of S13 suspension bits to go in the front of it. I'll be hunting around 300rwkw's and a reasonably stock looking car, wheels and ride height are all I want to change. I'll post some pics up tomorrow, it's nothing special at the moment but I'm about to change that!

Hey all, Figured I'd start a topic on RC about my schools personal project for year 10. My father, brother and I are currently commencing the conversion of our 4k, ke20 2-door corolla, A.k.a, RKE 020, from a 40mm delorto carb to EFI. When it started life it was a bamboo coloured 3k 2-door ke20 with a 2 speed auto box.A 4k was then put in it and also a 5 speed manual box keeping the existing diff gearing. The 4k was by no means stock, we built it with a lumpy camshaft with 109 degrees lobe separation. Double valve springs were also added so that the valves would work properly with the extra lift of the cam. Next step was a single 40mm Delorto carburettor for better…

Hey, picked this little beauty up earlier in the week. It's a yellow, 1980, ke55 cs coupe, auto. Not too bad condition. Has some rust spots and dents. Interior is quite good apart from dash top, most things work. The heater works! The 4k runs well and goes alright considering it's auto. Plans are to clean it up, put it on historic rego and then later I will think about a manual conversion and other mods. But for now I'm just cruising around in it and doing a few repairs. I have got some touch up paint already and have done a few little repairs. I shaved the rear corolla badge, welded holes up and gave it some paint and also under the fuel cap I did a small rust repair. P…

Hi Everyone, Here is a bit of an introduction to my new wagon. It's a 82 KE70, which I've had for about 4 or 5 months and have cherished the shoit out of it (except for that damn clutch cable!). It has 330,000km on it and it still drives fantastic. Everything on it is standard, which I like, since I have a blank canvas to build my own daily to how I'd like it. The previous owner said that it had been resprayed some time in it's history, which looks to be true as the paint (however a little sensitive to scratching) is very presentable. The interior is original and a little bit grubby, but will clean up great when I get around to it. I really like the dark blue interior…

There is quite a story behind getting including crashed cars and insurance claims on joels end. After all that got it sent down for 460$ which is very reasonable.
