Hey all, I'm new to rolla club and thought ide post up my toyota publica... bought it from a guy in robina for pretty cheap with reg as he was leaving the country to live in nz or something.... anyways.. 3k engine with 130XXX k's ke10 front end conversion still drum brakes all round ( suprisingly good) bolt on spacers converted to 4x100 I'm pretty sure as it has fwd offset 15 inch lenso's on it resprayed monza red (originally white) not many plans for it as of yet... probably lower it a tad and some fender mirrors... Sadly more than likely will be a parts car. Does it need its own thread? No, but I'm making one because its an RA28 and I love them! Currently runs an 18RG (why I brought it) BEFORE anyone says it the bonnet was painted black before drifting was invented. Back in its day it was a hill climb car so the bonnet was painted black.

Hey all, havn't really posted before but never had a reason to until now. Been looking for a classic example for about 8 months, so it wasn't luck, just about time. My dad found it on carsales 5 mins after he put the add up, so i had to snap it up. Its an 80 model ke55 all original (except for stereo), couldn't find any rust on the entire shell. Running gear in perfect condition, the only problem i can think of is faulty clusters, ie speed guage is zero'd at 20km/h

Righto, joining the KE70 club as of tonight :D Just bough myself a bone stock KE70 Sedan that's in very good condition but a few things that need to be attended too. Is meant to be a project car and I'm also gonna drive it during wintertime this year when its snowy and slippery, so the 4K-C should keep up :P Might end up putting a 4A-GE into it cause that would be a lot of fun but I'm not sure i can handle all the technical stuff that comes with that yet.

Back again with another Ke1x Corolla... this time, its a Wagon! The game plan... overrated interior and bay, Ghetto body. Motor wise it will cop a 4k/5k depending on how easy I can get a 5k :glare: It had an RX3 LSD diff in it, but thats gone. Standard diff went into it tonight. Standard front end, just lowered with Ke55 discs and calipers. Bit of a different location this time... under the Containers! Just picked up a new daily, got it off a German backpacker who was going back home, she picked it from QLD and drove it over. It's in pretty good nick body wise, very straight with no rust at all, not sure if thats rare for these things. The interior is a bit rough though, the center console is busted up and the auto T bar is broken. Runs good except for the whiney diff. I have already put some other wheels and tyres on there, the ones she had on had started to separate and were causing the worst vibration. Also put some new boat carpet in the back. Not too clued up about these things, but is the sedan diff the same as the panel van? i need to get it sussed out asap…

Hey guys Well its been a few years since i have had the privilage of posting on this site as i am now back in the car i should be, A Rolla :dance: I bough this little beast from a guy on this site (Thanks Rob)from melbourne unregoed and got a permit for it and drove it back yesterday. Did it one go 10hrs from Mt Eliza VIC to Berowra NSW and didnt miss a beat :y: No overheating or anything aside from a small start and idle issue which i am getting sorted tomorrow. Funny thing i drove just under 1000km yesterday,with no plates, drove past six or seven cops and didnt get pulled over once haha. Anyway here some photos after i gave her a clean up today

Hi everyone, this is my first project build car. I have a ae102r corolla which I have done work on, but never done a build to this extent. A mate of mine traded a case of corona's for this car off some guy wanting to get rid of it. It had been sitting in a locked garage for 3 years with no rego and prior to that only been driven around locally. He was the original owner and bought it new from the Toyota dealership. It has 145,000km on the clock which I'm pretty happy with. hey all got this a few weeks back, ke55 coupe, totally standard apart from KE35 tail lights, Was intending to use it only as daily driver, while my other car is off the road... but that didnt last long at the moment basically only concentrating on the bodywork, has a bit of rust in the rear guards/bonnet etc, was half painted in gun metal grey when i got it, an looked fairly average imo.. so got out the sandpaper & started painting it in Teil Blue, only one coat & half done at the moment, weather has been to shit to paint :(. *this is only temporary until proper respray in a few months*..trying to avoid cop attention by making it just one colo…

well i sold my ke30 during the week and went and bought this the plan is to have a go at drifting and in my opinion this is a great car to learn in as the body isnt the best and it can't be regoed so it doesnt matter if i dent it :laff: the best part about it is it's already set up for sliding with the suspention consisting of ae86 front struts, new shocks and vl springs, ae86 vented disks and calipers with braided lines and corona control arms. whilst the rear end has new boge turbo rear shocks and falcon springs making the car stiff as f**k the drive train is pretty much done with the exeption of a cracked piston ring which is as simple as a rebuild to fix s…

G-day everyone this is the first time I'm realy posting anything about my car it has come a long way since i bought it almost 16 months ago. it started as just a quick close door respray but after finding more rust than originally anticipated it is now just about a full on bare metal respray and hotting the thing up at the same time. HI all so ive been on here for a while religiously watching peoples progress on there ke projects.and finnaly decidded to add mine its a ke11 it had a 5k 5peed otherwise pretty standed unfortunately just before Christmas the diff blew so as i was replacing diff i decided to lower it as well. even more unfortunate i had major issues with the diff being a different drive shaft bolt pattern and so it sat in my garage for a while and to add to my bad luck my house went under in the floods taking the car with it. water receding after floods leaving it wet and muddy after i stripped the interior and water blasted it very strange feeling. so at this point …

A 1978 Corolla 1,166 cc engine and a four-speed manual trans. It has a pretty solid body, but has a few rust spots and bubbles in the paint. Hey guys, Just bought this corolla about 3 weeks ago. Its now my 6th KE30/55! This one is the best one i have owned bodywise. It has next to no visable rust =) I bought come 13x7 spitfires? they came off a mates datsun, then got them wrapped in some rubber. hey guys, just got my first rolla! don't know too much about them but am trying to learn very quickly. Hope the pic works! Brought it for $450, engines siezed but have sourced one out from a member on here brother, have manual conversion there but i think i just need the pedal box! My plan is to get the new engine in, possibly respray it all matt black as a dodgy job or the original blue with red pinstripe as i quite like the colour, get it roadworthied and regoed, then start planning to put in a 4agze and start D-rifting! Hey, So had issues registering the Statesman in the NT so ended up having a whinge and moving it back down to SA, purchasing a Mark II and having that bought up to Darwin and registered. Since then have had people who own Chaser's contacting me saying that I'm the first Mark II they have seen in the NT, so yay :D. Things to fix: Sideskirts (replace) Front left corner lip. When I got it, the previous owner had done all the rust repairs and sanded it back ready for paint. I also got a set of 13" hotwires and a Blacktop 20 valve with the car. WIN! Hi Peoples, So I've been building my KE70 for AGES and I finally got sick of it. I HATE bodywork so I've scrapped my old KE70 and here I stand. My all new South African TE71 with Rego just gotta get a roadworthy and change of name then in goes the 4AGE. From the outside she's just your plain old slanty front KE70 except with short bumpers and no black strip between the tailights. Inside and underneath it all its gets very exciting!!! How about some CRAZY South African seats!!! Annnndddddd!!!! A 2T!!! This thing goes pretty darn good and its only a 3 speed auto! This is my new baby. He's a 1975 ke36 got around 380,000ks on the clock and isn't coming along too bad. Has a 4k with a k40 manual and fairly standard driveline. Put a new battery, the firehawks and hotwires on it as well as changing the locked diff to a standard borgy last weekend. It's history past 12 months ago is a bit sketchy, all we've been able to figure past that is the remnants of signwriting from a panelbeater's in Toowoomba on the doors. 1972 Corolla SL twin carrb i have known aboyt this car for a few years took me 3 years to get hold of hershame really its been sat outside for 10 years not moved nothing,, The old chaps had it since 1972 still has the plastics over the sun visors from toyota, comes with originall bill sale of invoice and full toyota history,,, Does need alot of work doing tho panel wise.. floors boot area chassis and engine bay all solid as been zebarted from new... hey names sam I'm 19 and live in Adelaide aways loved me kexx's and now I'm kinda over ke70s and i thought id buy a ke30, bought it off a mate for $150 drove it around for a few weeks untill i blew the diff and then realized the head is also cracked as well so now iv taken out the motor and gear box, was thinking of putting a sr or ca in it but i thought id be different and go a 5L out of a vn or a 350 chev or something and before you ask no this isnt going to be a street car purely a track car but it may go on a few cruises :P so far all iv done is take out the motor started sanding and flared the guards, will be updating weekly , thanks for looking!
