  1. Info on disc caliper combo? Are they wilwood discs?
  2. Well then what about using a fully sealed system that can be pressurised that actually uses boost as its propellant so to speak. That way it could also be somewhat self regulating!
  3. Have you looked at water meth kits?
  4. Hey mate, just a tip - When you get the manifold made up make sure you keep access to the manifold bolts with a socket and extension as you can with stock manifolds. I can't get to the one next to ex port #3 like that, its a bitch and I have to remove the starter motor to give me room to spin a spanner on it.
  5. I have that size Alecia's on my 55, with bolt ons, fit really nice. There's a few pics in my projects thread. Currently running 195's that are a bit stretched....only because I had those tyres before the wheels. Probably go 205 or 215 front and maybe 235 rear soon.
  6. Updated your will yet? Lol. I'll take some of your turbo build parts.
  7. I remember a thread about these a few years ago, you could probably find it with a search. IIRC its oil temp sensor not level.
  8. pics don't look as bad as it actually is...... may have found a nos full chrome 30 bumper, still need to find straight stone tray, and also a cut from wreck of the lower rad support panel. can anybody help?
  9. Driving from launy to Hobart last night, hit a rather large roo (well by Tassie standards anyway). Made a but of a mess of the front, bend bumper, mangled stone tray, lower rad support is pushed back quite a bit, have even bent the rad but it somehow still holds water. Will upload pics shortly.
  10. thought about what sort of shaft you would need to make any boost?
  11. I ran a new 3/8 rubber hose from tank to engine bay for a new send line, then used the old send for the return. 55's had a tiny return line that way basically just a breather for the charcoal canister. Not sure if ke2x had a similar setup, even if it did it wouldn't be big enough.
  12. No, they promote water flow to the back of the head.
  13. I'll probably have a 715 for sale very shortly.
  14. Still packs a much bigger punch above 3k though.
  15. Pretty sure formula v use 13's so you could still get slick and semi slick tyres for them.
  16. Nah looks more like a w56 ....and I'm pretty sure t50's never came out behind diesels
  17. Depends on offset. I've had 15x10 0 under the back of my 55 before.
  18. The commonwhore radiator I got was actually an auto one with an oil cooler in one side. As I didn't need it I just cut the fittings off. They have a couple of locating lugs on the bottom corners, I drilled holes in the sheet metal in the front corners of the engine bay for these and made up some brackets to hold it at the top.
  19. If you're going to replace the radiator, don't do it with a stock sized corolla one for $300, get a brand new VN commodore one for $120 odd like I did about a year ago. Only other cost is a new top hose, mind was $60 iirc. Easy as to fit. Can find a few pics when I put a new one in a few pages back in my projects thread. I never have any cooling issues even on hot days....and its not like its on a relatively stock 4k.
  20. And 4wd's use 'dual battery systems' for completely different reasons.
  21. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/70852-random-ke3036-parts-and-other-assorted-toyota-stuff/page__pid__692720#entry692720 $50 ;)
  22. Would be much cheaper collecting up the parts yourself and then take everything somewhere if you're not confident in doing it yourself.
  23. Yeah but how many people happily run stock turbos on the 1j? And how much more power can you release with a nice sized single? If you're going to go to the effort of turbo charging a k, then why not use a turbo with a good all round power range rather than something that's more like a standard fitment package!
