  1. Yeah cool. The steering arm hole is offset to push the struts 10mm further out to create brake rotor clearance. If you run AE86 steering arms you need to bash the end of your LCA in a bit, plus you can't run RCA's. (Can use NCRCA's but they are poo). I ended up getting my XT steering arms shortened. And Rhys there are good upgrades, Land Cruiser and Hilux 4 pots bolt on. Heaps of good shock options. Only issue I found was the steering arms.
  2. Do they have the same issue with the steering arm/rotor making rotor to LCA clearance an issue?
  3. I used kero to clean a head up. came up like new. Way better than all the off the shelf stuff.
  4. Have you read up about using kerosene?
  5. Wow, Malta. I know there are 2 doors in Europe, lots of guys have posted them on here. Getting one to Malta though, no idea.
  6. Location? Because if you are in Australia the only *E7* two door you will get is a TE72 or a panelvan.
  7. Easiest would be a 16V 4AGE. Though it wont bolt to your 3T bellhousing. You could search arounf for good 3T bolt on bits and goodies on http://www.3tcgarage.com/ as they are US based. I see you're in California so you have to abide by those new draconian pollution laws. An EFI engine would be easier to pass those tests I'd assume.
  8. Engine from Clapped Out? Looks familiar.
  9. Well I suppose I shouldnt be surprised :/
  10. 1JZ RWD AE92? Yes please.
  11. You can't rotate a dual filament bulb as the prongs are offset to each other. They can only go in ONE way.
  12. Dude thats exactly what I'm looking for. Chur. Want to do a similar setup to you with the longer handle close to the wheel without having to hack up the center console or remove it entirely. Car looks fantastic as always BTW. :y:
  13. Do you have a link to where you got your hydro brake from? Is it set up as pull yet the master cyl. is facing the front of the car? All the ones I have found have the cyl. in the direction of operation.
  14. Haha I was happy when my voltage switch worked :P A whole engine working must be even better!
  15. The supercharger usually has a bit of an overrun before it switches itself off. My TB is post SC so its all weird and needs fine tuning.
  16. Ok well I found this dirt cheap circuit board which seems to do what I want. According to the engrish PDF: [Function 10]: Trigger Mode:contain delay off function, the relay does not operate after power on ,give CH1 interface a high pulse signal, the relay pull-in immediately, when the high pulse signal disappeared, the relay still pull-in, when arrived the setting time T1 relay disconnect, the T1 can be adjustable between 0 second-270 hours. Remark: in this function, if T1 is 0 second, give CH1 connector a high pulse signal, http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/121324088350?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 And at $8.09 its the right price :P
  17. Rob if you're having a steampunk phase try Perdio Street Station by China Miéville. Amazing.
  18. Just finished Great North Road by Peter F Hamilton. Love that guys space operas, I'm a scifi junkie.
  19. Falcon springs are the right diameter but they are the wrong height. People generally chop one in half and use a half per side. Its a cheap option.
  20. Internally or externally regulated? The alternator needs an 'on' signal to start charging, check its getting switched 12v.
  21. Dudes smoking some heavy shit.
  22. Yeah, well they're just trying to make a sale.
  23. All the AE86 stuff fits them. Though if you use XT130 you'll probably need to get custom steering arms made like I did.
  24. Yeah the struts are the same size.
  25. Source some Corona/Celica struts and use those. Cheaper than AE86 and you get bigger brakes.
