thought i might throw this up, its been 6 months in the build and is just about to get tuned. Mods are : evo 7 motor custom button clutch Bill hincher bellhousing R154 supra 5 speed 3.5" one piece tailshaft with solid uni's Hilux diff ems stinger 4424 front coilovers R33 front brakes MA70 supra rear brakes TD05 20G turbo with 3" cover 3" exhaust and a whole lot of custom shit to make it work! this is how you transport a motor!

went halvies with my mate. It's a 4K-c 4 speed manual ke55 pretty good condition bit of rust which 'well fix. the motor needs work asap it's got no power i need some ideas for quick and cheap mods any ideas anyone? wouldn't mind turning it into a drift slut can anyone here in melbourne weld my diff? sorry for the crap quality pictures

Just picked up this ke70 for cheap a few days ago, the motor in it is good runs really well but its a auto. the body has rust in the boot and around the fuel cap (its pretty bad). the interior is surprisingly clean Not really planning to go too nuts with this car, I'm just gonna lower it and paint it, and mabye some wheels. I bought it from Just Wrecking Toyotas on the cnr of South Tce and South Rd in Wingfield. The guy said it was lucky i called when i did because the car was about 10 minutes away from being completely wrecked, the guys had allready gone out and marked all the parts with a texta which i now have to clean off, lol.

Hey There, I have just purchased a sweet 2000 ultima and would love to know about some intake options that people know of, I am going to upgrade the intake and exhaust first then look at suspension and the list goes on. Would any one be able to explain the intake set up of this pic I found wih a 7afe with trumpets? It looks tuff as! Would this engine fit in my car with this set up or would the air filters be facing the back and all squashed up? As in what I would need to modify my current set up to get this under my hood. when i ask can you slap a 351 into a ke20 i don't mean just drop an engine in and drive. i mean engineered and road legal. most will say I'm a dreamer but honestly can it at all be done? I'm not the biggest fan of turbo cars as fun as they may be the rumble of a v8 always gets me i was thinking of doing this to my mk2 cortina which is of similiar weight, but come on, in a ke20 it would be the sweetest thing. i know i can't legally put a engine bigger then a 2.0 in a ke20 and me wanting a 5.8 is a massive ask. but if i was to only use the body of a ke20. for example, use an ford xe chassis, with a ke20 body and cut the chassis to fit. anyone know of such…

No RWC, no reg, off a good friend of mine. he originally bought it for his daughter to learn on, but never got the time to get everything done, so it got sold to me!! car is in great condition. there is NO rust at all. My first car was a 1600 datsun, so I know what rust looks like!! ive been over every inch of the bodywork on this thing, no rust whatsoever. it has a few dings, dents and scrapes, but nothing bad. I purchased this '81 KE55 Sedan off ebay for $660 as a donor car for my KE20 build. 225,000KM. Fortunately but unfortunately i've decided to keep the car complete and restore her to orginal condition. I'm not entirely sure of it's history but its in need of panel work, veery minor rust repair and some paint on the front left quarter and door. I love the colour... It's a 4-kc, 5 speed gearbox, which may end up in my KE20. Runs well mechanically and no smoke. ok, so on sunday 12th of september i went to ipswitch to pick put my ke30. had no rego or RWC so drove it back on a trade plate. endend up paying $1200 for it. was on dead empty so went to the servo, filled it for $45. drove it back to toowoomba using 1/4 of a tank. soon as we go back to toowoomba cops had a nice look :P got it home and stripped all the interior (door cards and all the little plactic parts)washed and got it ready for painting. black black black.:) sometime in the next week or two the car will be getting re-sprayed blue(a little darker then it is now) 3k. 4 speed manuel looking for a 5 speed but! and the origial rims and center caps. well …

Hi everyone. I thought Id say G'day and show you a pic of my KE70. I purchased this car as a rolling shell (barely) and am doing it up for track work. I have been racing my other toy car a z32 300zx and have decided that its too heavy an too expensive to get to go any faster. I picked up this shell for $100 with the suspension points modified to run s13 coilovers. The plan is to fit a sr20det with crossmember and an R31 lsd diff. hi there thought id put this up once id at least rego'ed it this is my ke55 i bought for $400. originally bought this as a donor car for my 13b bridgy N/A out of my rx7 as it is in the process of a bridgy turbo conversion. i liked the shape of the ke30 and looks a fairly straight forward conversion as conversions go. anyways it was a bit beat up, rust in usual places, completely standard but overall in not too bad nick as ive seen alot worse. never was a fan of the 55 front end and bumpers kinda looked a bit queer so that was first to go. 30 bonnet, bumpers and grill next engine got a tidy up, new leads, service etc, degrease, coat of matt black for a tidy…

Hey so as you all know not so long ago I purchased a KE55 off of Twitch on RC and managed to roll it in the same night. (See attached Pics). Just letting you all know that my wonderful mother (Mumma's boy now I can admit it lol) decided she wanted to take a holiday and offered to tow it home for me. So it drove onto the car trailer starting first go, off of the car trailer and is now at my uncles awaiting to get fixed. Hey guys and gals. Well I did a swap on the weekend the Tercel for a AE82 Corolla 4AGE Bigport. Which was a fun drive home :P . This is my first Rolla with a 4AGE and I LOVE IT :y: :y: :y: . The old owner said it has a blown head gasket but after inspections found that is not the case (no water in engine or oil in coolant and did a radiator cap off test and no bubbles). Still yet to find the problem as it at times heats up to 3/4 temp when doing 100kms and drops back down to 1/2 when going 80kms. I would say it has a water pump problem and it has a leak somewhere. It has some rust around the drip rails not much and an easy fix. Anyway here are some pics of the girl …

hey have had my KE55 for about 2 months now its great all original and pretty clean. it has the stock 4K still in it its reliable and good but i need somthing with a little more kick and somthing that will get the wheels to spin :-). I'm tossing between a SR20 DE or a N/A 13 bridgy until i get my full lic then will turbo what ever i decide to put in the car. whats better? whats an easier conversion? and info is apreciated. cheers

After returning back from overseas, & uncovering my little car after the 12months it had not been driven, i am considering selling my pride & joy. This awesome little panelvan, I assume, must be some kind of import. I have never seen another with the "Custom Sport" logos & strips. I also don't know if this "paint" scheme came from Toyota like this, but have no idea about it. hey everyone I'm michael, ive been on here for a couple weeks now suarcing parts to fix my new rolla up, just using it at as a daily as my other cars are becoming costly to drive. so far ive replaced the diff, tail shaft, radiator, front struts, steering arms and brakes, rear springs and brakes. also removed the carpet and just painted the floor black and chucked in some mats and fitted a stero and tacho dash. i have a spare KE i used for some of the interier bits but it also has a 5 speed box that ill be fitting soon. and of course done alot of rust. its gota be one of the slowest cars ive ever driven but also one of the funnest heres a couple pics no…

Hi there all, new to the Rolla Club but will soon be a very active member in regards to picking peoples brains.I just bought a genuine granny spec KE38 Wagon with an original 160,000 on the clock which I plan to do a rotor conversion in. This wont be my first rotor conversion as I have already had a Datsun 1600 with a 13B BP in it. SO, this is my younger brothers KE30 he got for dirt cheap, so therefore its in poor condition. Only good thing about it i think, would be the K50 gearbox. Which the previous owner installed I've taken it on as a project for myself, because of my love for cars ;P First things first was getting it running, with only 240,000kms on it i figured this couldnt be too hard (240k isnt much for these engines :yes: ) So, I put a new battery in it, new spark plugs, changed out the black as sin oil and the old oil filter, and gave the carby a good spray with carby cleaner.
