What motivates us? I was watching a show on the ABC network the other day and came across this very interesting clip. It somewhat relates to car enthusiasts such as ourselves and why we strive to get better and better at what we do. Its worth a watch! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6XAPnuFjJc

So i have started this thread, to get everyones oppinions on the current trends associated with live music. First off, i consider myself to be an enjoyer of music. From classical music to alternative rock, i enjoy a bit of every genre. I always have music going in the car, at home, the ipod is the first thing packed when going no train or plane trips. I Just enjoy music. I also consider myself a bit of a snob when it comes to audio gear and audio quality, i just hate low quality sounding music. i have some nice audio gear, headphones etc, and am currently building up a decent set of speakers for home use, coupled with a decent amp should be nice. I have also d…

(Chur) The idea is there have been some amazingly mad comments and threads last year.: This is for: Best comment: Best thread in 'Off Topic': Best picture: Best video: Best Randomness: I think those categories are enough for a first try. Post a link to this thread with a direct link to a comment, picture, video etc but it must be from RC. Voting is by clicking the +1 button on the post. I'll keep this updated daily until the 25th of January. EDIT: If you can't find it but we all agree. it counts.

I was driving home today and it hasnt rained on the sunny coast for over 3 weeks, As I cruised down the Steve Irwin Way a mad heavy shower came down, I had my windows open, and 3 weeks worth of road smells lifted up into the air. That fresh smell of rain and all the old oily dead smell of cars kinda merged into this great smell. Hot road, cold rain. Hey maybe it's not for everyone but what's those automotive smells that you love? And apart from old gearbox oil, the worst?

with the '24 movie coming next year, i figured i'd gauge interest. i, myself have been a fan of Kiefer Sutherland since his early days(lost boys/sliders FTW), and truly got hooked on the CTU story. in fact, just this year i watched the whole series again from the start, in anticipation of the movie. anyhow, back to the topic of the thread, http://jackvschuck.com/index.html and who would win in a fight? check out this in depth analysis: http://jackvschuck.com/jvc.html
