Hey guys, I am new here, have recently bought this 1972 Corona RT81. Straight with minimal rust, looking to do some mods such as suspension, brake upgrade (to disks), 4agze and so on. First thing I noticed when I bought it was the clutch pedal went to the floor, had to pump it a few time to get it to work. Dale

hey guys and gals, thought i would introduce my car to the forum.. some specs: engine: it did have a 4age in it. it has a 4agze now that i've almost finished converting. just a few wiring gremlins but other than that its basically done. it did have a rebuilt motor as i spun number 1 big end. luckily for me it wasn't damaged too bad so i got it all machined up, head rebuilt etc. unfortunately i used an ACL head gasket and not even 10 000km's later it split. so i ordered me a genuine head gasket and some ARP head studs.then about 9 months later i got bored of the bigport and decided to get an ae101 halfcut. gearbox: e58 LSD with Exedy heavy duty clutch. mac…

Had a friend asking me about getting him a 4k for his ke70, I instead made an offer on the car and viola' I now own a rwd Rolla :) Its currently an auto with a 4k-c which overheated due to being leant to an overseas visitor (bloody victorians :P) and was driven with a leaky top radiator hose, got a wee bit hot and developed a big end noise :( My friend then thought it was a good idea to hold it in low gear until the bottom end exited the sump.... Interiors great except for a few little bits and pieces, which I'll replace sooner rather than later.. Plans I plan on tidying up the interior by getting another centre console (this ones rooted, chronic plastic cancer), seat covers and floor mats. Yes, we like to name all our cars. However, the first name my wife chose (Artoo, since she loves R2D2 and the blue is perfect) didn't quite gel when we decided after the first few days of ownership that HE was actually a SHE. So far, Daphne has come out as the likeliest alternative, but we're still not 100% sold on the name so it may change again the future. Anyhoo, Daffers is a 2018 Toyota Corolla Ascent Sport in Blue Gem metallic. She is kitted out as standard with 16"…

I didn't know what to expect cause he said it was badly rusted, ball joints were worn, etc etc. So I went to the address and I was shock on how original it was. They told me everything about the car and what had been done to it and that they wanted to get rid of it cause it was costing them money, the funny thing was when I was viewing they said if I didn't buy it they were going to take it to sims. So I offered them $250 for it and they a…

Wow how modern haha! I was stoaked. It had done under 180,000 and has been sitting since 2007. I later found out it CAN be registered! Woo! However, no where near roadworthy. So I've sunk my teeth into it and plan to focus purely on cosmetics and not bother with molestoring the runn…
