hey lads heres my project, bought for a measly amount off a mate who had it garaged for 5years, i had sold my last perfect 35 and wanted another that i could molest a little instead of keeping it bog standard. The car was bought with a dinted drivers door, boot and car full of useless shit, zero rust and no motor or box, plus a whinging diff. Hey guys.. I'll make this quick and simple to start with.. Had a Ae92 1990 Nova for a few years got board with my old car so time to put some money and work on this one. Pulled the Engine out the other day replaced the Gluth with a Heavy duty Performance Cluth (in the box) New timing Belt.... some engine mounts. oil.. water .. ect ect.. Threw some custom after marker extractors with a 2" sports performance exhuast cat back ... (Muffler not Cannon lol) And got a DGV 5A Weber carby conversion kit (also in the box).. I bought the Rolla from a family, who left their parent's car in the garage of an estate for years. Car had great interior, body in decent shape, and minimal rust, aside from the battery leaking acid onto metal. Corolla came with a 3kc 4 speed, which had 25,000 miles. I was suspicious of that, until I cleaned the jets on the rebuilt carb the car already had. Car runs like it just came out of the dealership new! I picked up a 1974 TE-27. I was searching for a first gen celica and missed out on a crazy good deal for a 76, but I am glad I did because I found this one. Some people call these mangos. The guy was super cool about selling me the car. He wouldn't sell the car to anyone. He told me how he denied the sale to other people that were not Toyota or JC enthusiast. Its an auto. 2tc. 4:10 diff. I will have to do some rust repair in the front due to the battery leaking, and a some minimal rust spots around the car. It runs, but needs fuel system cleaned. Since powercruise last month i have been working on my other corolla, decided to get it going and have it as my work car for awhile. Ive had this car probably 8 years, it was a flawless body when i got it, not long after i gave it a bare metal 2 pack respray, then drove it to work for a few years. Hey, got another ae86 this saturday.. bought it unseen its been sitting for 10 years, a bit new fuel and clean the plugs and it fired right up steamed the bay and its overrated! T3 camber plates, AGX adjustable dampers front and rear, T3 coilovers in the front, and NCRCA's its better than at first look, its just the fenders thats gone here.. a bit in the door and in the rear neew wheel arch glued in one of the windows got a exhaust leak i took the manifold out stainless headers going in new oil, filter and plugs.. time for test drive ill just…

Recently bought a ke20 off a forum member and local, has replaced my ke55 as a project car as i like these shapes better. had bought a 2tg/3t hybrid for the 55 and it seemed a waste to try and sell the engine as i would never get what has been spent by me so far and the previous owner so its down the resto road i go. hopefully getting the rust fixed up within the next week, then a new paint job to keep it in good nick for a while longer. most probably end up white, not too fussy on colours etc. it will just be a car for fun so interior will be 2 seats and some aluminum trim, maybe a half cage if it flexes too much, anyone who can give me ideas on suspension and brake…

Hey guys, i bought this KE55 about 2 years ago now for $100 (77,543 k's |blink|), it had a few bad patches of rust and we ending up doing some damage while out one night. So i decided i'd buy a parts car, cost me $500. Took pretty much everything off of it and then had it towed away. My mate decided he'd upgrade his 180 to an 2JZ and sold me his engine,(90,000 k's) i was pretty stoked. From there, the parts slowly started rolling in, starting with around 3k of audio gear, 1k in seats and another 5k on performance parts which include - Garrett 3076 turbo, Tial 38mm wastegate, Nismo 740cc injectors, Z32 AFM, HKS coilovers for the front with Cusco strut tops, custom NPC…

Meet Joansy. Owned by the same family since 1974. Saw a post by another member in the spotted thread. There was a link to the trading post. We called. Got to the owner's house by about 8:45pm and took Joansy for a short drive up to the servo so that we could check her over under the lights. She hasn't been modified in any way but the family weren't enthusiasts so though she's been well loved, any little repairs haven't been done the way a meticulous collector might do. Nothing major. hey guys picked this up off a mate for nuthing has a buggered water pump housing and thats all few lil rust spots in the back above the rear right wheel arch and on the bonnet got bored waiting for a water pump housing to thought id do a bit of touch up paint painted the top of the engine and radiator lol looks ok just need to clean her up has genuine 130000k`s on it so I'm happy for nothing tell me what u think cheers ae pig

Gday, bought this car a bit under a year ago and have been slowly working on it. Its a 1975 ke36. Its a fair heap but I love it, so far I have fixed the indicators, breaks somewhat, horn, removed heaps of surface rust from the engine bay, replaced the clutch, put 2" lowering blocks in the back and flipped the leafs. It also has 14x7 (0 offset) Globelines. I have some 4.5kg ###### springs for the front as well but they aren't in yet so it is still sitting way too high at the front. I plan to tidy the body up, replace front quarters and eventually respray it. Interior also needs some work. Overall car runs heaps well, brakes and handbrake are a bit iffy and still n…

Hey There People I'm new here. Just thought i'd tell you of my project i'm undertaking. I have sucessfully fitted a 4-AC backed with a T-50 gearbox, custom tailshaft, shortened shifter into my KE55 corolla that has a partially completed KE30 exterior. I like to call it my AE35 cos the running gear is out of an AE86 Aus-spec. I still have to mod the clutch pedal to suit the hydraulic system and source a few connectors off an AE82 for the temp sensor, oil light and i also have to relocate the coil as it sits on the wrong side of the engine bay. Only problem i do have at the moment is i can only get the car to start by jumping a wire on the starter motor …
